Classic Car Overview

A rare car for America, as only a few are known to be in this country. This is a fresh 2 yr. restoration of a rust free, unmolested original car. Body is made of aluminum, with only fenders and cowl in steal. The following are all new: PPG quality paint & upholstery; Optima battery & cables; all instruments & wiring; all ignition parts; alternator (a conversion); electric fan; alloy 3.9 gl. fuel tank; all 4 tires & tubes; all hoses, fuel lines and valves. Original radiator, starter, clutch assembly, Solex carb and trans-axle brake have been professionally rebuilt. All fluids are fresh and coolant is 100% antifreeze.
This is the four cyl. DeLuxe model Lanchester BSA TW-10 with 3 speed H pattern trans. Suspension is leaf spring using friction chocks.
When sanding the body, an original stenciled sign stating the car was used by British Civil Defense Service for coastal patrolling was found, hence the military motif. The camo wrap, signs and striping are easily removed with a heat gun. Parts are available through the BSA Front Wheel Drive Club of England.
Included in the sale are a Mechanics Shop Service Manual, an illustrated factory parts book, 30 BSA Club magazines, British flags and whip.
It has a clean, current Calif. title and license plates, plus the original alloy British plates. Top speed is 55 and you get to feel all of it! A rare, very unique, rarely seen car making it a great addition to any collection.
