Classic Car Overview

1932 Ford Sedan Custom Henry Ford saw great success in his early years with the Model T and Model A, so the pressure was on in 1932 to lot lose that momentum. Well he had no problem pulling that off with the Model B and the Model 18 which introduced Fords first V8 motor. The design was supervised by Edsel Ford with his dad focusing on the Flathead V8 power plant. These cars were popular new but their real popularity revealed itself in later years with the Street Rodding craze. These made the perfect base for customization and the classic car culture flocked to the 32 Ford. They are so popular in fact companies began making fiberglass versions to meet the demand. This 1932 Ford Sedan is a steel car and has such a cool unique style. It has all the classic old school features you want to see in one of these cars. The body is painted in a beautiful gloss Black paint with realistic Tru Flames running down each side, on the cowl and on the front of the roof. It also has nice Red accents throughout with pinstriping on the back, down the sides, on the headlights, on the rear gas tank and of course the Red grill. The glass on it is all good and the front windshield still pushes out like it would have done originally. Another old school touch is up front between the spreader bar is a Moon Eyes tank with knock off style cap. The chrome rear taillights feature blue dots and are mounted next to custom chrome bumperettes. The build on this thing was very well done and it even has nerf bars in front of the rear wheels for a unique look. The car rides on great looking Halibrand wheels with knock off style center caps and it has a taller tire in back for a slight rake. It has a 4 piece louvered hood and underneath is a ZZ430 high performance GM crate motor. It has nice chrome valve covers, a chrome alternator, custom chrome air cleaner, MSD distributor, Edelbrock oil pump, Weber 4 barrel carburetor, Cool Flex hoses and guess what else? A chrome AC compressor! Most street rods from this vintage dont get the AC treatment so that is nice to see in place. The motor runs great, sounds great with Sanderson headers into custom Hushpower mufflers and has plenty of power. It has a 700R automatic transmission that shifts smoothly and transfers power back to the Currie rear end. Other nice features include the Superbell dropped I beam front axle, front disc brakes, Pete & Jakes front shocks, adjustable coil overs in rear, and a Mullins steering box. The inside of the car is very nicely finished out and incorporates more of the Red accenting. The upholstery is done in the tuck and roll style and it has a nice split front bench seat with racing style lap belts and a full rear bench seat. It has nice Red carpeting and the Lokar shifter is mounted to the floor in a Red boot. The dash is nicely painted Black and is fitted with Stewart Warner gauges in a finned Champion bezel that incorporates LED indicator lights. It also has round adjustable vents for the AC system that blow
