Classic Car Overview
This is a classic street rod, it has been in my family for over 50 years. I hate to part with it, but I just don't have the time to enjoy it, so I have decided to make it available to someone with the passion to maintain and enjoy it.
The car was built in the 60's and 70's for the most part, and then upgraded in the 1980's-into the 2000's. It was my uncle's life long project. The car is powered by a chevy 350 with turbo transmission, dated in the mid 60's. the frame is a modified 1966 corvette. Many have tried to duplicate the look and style of this car, but few have achieved it. The car has power steering, power brakes, tilt steering, air conditioning, AM/FM Cassette. I may be forgetting some details, but it's a beautiful car with the things we come to expect in a modern car.
The body is all steel - original Ford, But the fenders and running boards are fiberglass. Very nice interior, a custom job. The paint is starting to show age, but is still nice, and the car could be shown as it is. With that said, it is due for some basic maintenance, belts, fluid change, etc. The only thing Ive done is put a fresh battery in it, and it started up strong. It runs great, but has been sitting for some years now. Seems to drive ok, but Ive only moved it around my property, over the last few years. I do have a clear title in my name.
