Engine & Drivetrain: Mopar Muscle
The heart of this roadster is a performance-built, first-generation Chrysler Hemi V8 engine, a highly desired setup that distinguishes it from common builds.
Induction: A Weiand dual-quad intake manifold is fitted with twin Edelbrock 500-cfm carburetors, topped by polished Stelling & Hellings air cleaners.
Ignition: Features a vintage Mallory dual-point distributor with a reliable PerTronix electronic conversion.
Exhaust: Polished stainless steel block-hugger headers funnel into a 2.5-inch exhaust with Cherry Bomb mufflers.
Drivetrain: Power is managed via a GM TH400 automatic transmission with a custom driveshaft, feeding a rugged Ford 9-inch rear end with a 2.73:1 gear ratio.
Chassis & Stance: The Channeled Look
The aggressive, iconic posture is achieved through extensive custom chassis work and channeling of the body over the frame:
Custom Frame: The build started with reproduction 1932 Ford framerails that were Zd in the rear with a substantial 14.5-inch kick. The front section was also Zd 3 inches for ideal ride height and stance.
Front Suspension: Speedway Motors polished stainless hairpins linked to a reverse-eye POSIES Super Slide spring and chrome PRO Shocks
Rear Suspension: A classic parallel leaf spring setup is utilized with QA1 adjustable shocks.
Body & Interior: Period Correct
Body: A sturdy fiberglass body was channeled to sit low, with a steel floor and transmission tunnel fabricated for durability and structure.
Interior: Features a custom bench seat upholstered in durable black vinyl, complemented by vintage Stewart-Warner Wings gauges set in a custom Cobalt Cerakoted dash insert.
Details: The build is finished with a modified 40 Ford truck column, a period-correct Triumph steering wheel, and 49 Ford taillights.
This is a turn-key, show-ready vehicle with a genuine pedigree, ready for its next owner to drive and enjoy.
