2010 Cobra Jet

Following in the tradition of previous Ford factory built Mustang race cars like the 1968 Cobra Jet, the Boss 429 and the FR500S Mustang Challenge car, Ford Racing and AAI started work on a production run of 50 Cobra Jet Mustangs in January 2010. Ford Racing built 50 Cobra Jet Mustangs at Ford vendor facilities.

Classic Car Overview

1932 5 window Ford Coupe model B, Candy Apple Red. Off the frame restoration completed in 1996 by Lou Schafer and Sons Custom Shop in Ohio. Using a Henry Ford Model B Five window coupe body and a steel frame. The frame was boxed and rear fenders were bobbed with a custom roll pan on the rear. The car rides on a modified suspension with a drop front Axle coil sprung rear end with ladder bars and front disk brakes.There are 14 inch wheels on the front and 15 inch Wheels on the back. The interior is black with bucket seats along with a telescopic tilt column steering wheel and a steward warner speedometer with extra gauges. The coupe has 30K miles shown. It is a 302 Ci V8 motor with a Holly four barrel carburetor. It has a C4 automatic transmission with Tri Y headers and dual exhaust. Please call for additional information.
