This Ford hot rod features a black 1931-style steel body over matching quilted upholstery, and is powered by a 350ci Chevrolet V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a reinforced Ford 9 rear end featuring a 1:3.08 ratio. Features include a boxed frame, an extended cockpit, four-link rear suspension, a drilled front drop axle, four-wheel disc brakes, and an aluminum radiator.The body and fenders are steel and are finished in single-stage black paint. The car features running boards, a folding windscreen, six taillights, chrome headlight buckets, turn signals, and a body-colored radiator surround. The black canvas soft top can be seen mounted in the gallery below and a set of front and rear chrome bumpers are said to be included.Artillery-style 15 front and 17 rear wheels are finished in red with chrome hubcaps and mounted with big and little Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes at all four wheels.The cockpit was reportedly stretched 2 for increased legroom and features seating for two on a contoured bench, which is trimmed in black vinyl with quilted inserts to match the doors and side panels. Black carpets cover the floors.The billet steering wheel is mounted on a chrome tilting column head of a body-colored dash housing a Dolphin 140-mph speedometer and combination gauge. Cooling is from an aluminum radiator with both mechanical and electric fans.
