Classic Car Overview

1931 Chevrolet Independence 5 window coupe (no rumbleseat). Green with black fenders and black trim. Known history since new. 45,650 miles believed correct. Received a thorough restoration (even has correct ID etching on the glass) in the 1980's and sat mostly not driven as part of a collection. The engine is still a bit tight. Thoroughly sorted. Rebuilt starter, generator, water pump, fuel pump, carburetor, ignition. Gas tank removed and cleaned (new sending unit). New tire tubes but tires are very old - show no wear, no cracks. Wiper is slow. Horn doesn't work. Some wiring is still original. Some minor interior moth damage. Handles and stops well. Bring A Trailer lists 51 sold '31's (all body types and conditions) with average selling price of over $22K.
