If you're thinking about buying a classic car, you should know where to look for rust and how extensive the repair might be.

Classic Car Overview

Here is a VERY RARE 1930 Packard 726 Sedan in excellent condition. Packard was a premier luxury and quality built automobile company from 1899 to 1958. While founded in Warren, Ohio, Packard is best known for their Detroit Michigan produced automobiles. Unique symbols such as the trademark red hexagon and coat of arms readily identify the marque. Their radiator ornaments were equally graceful and well know with the most famous being The Goddess of Speed, Adonis at the Well and the Cormorant. Their most memorable slogan was Ask The Man Who Owns One. In 1930, Packard sold 28,318 cars priced from $2,375 to $5,350. Their sales success made them a leading luxury marque at the start of the classic era and they were one of the oldest car companies in America with the first Packard being built in 1899.This Packard is the 726 series that has a wheel base of 127.5 inches. Underneath the long and graceful bonnet is an straight eight cylinder engine mated to a four speed manual gearbox. It features a Bijur chassis lubrication system and four wheel assisted mechanical drum brakes. The 726 series was only available in a Sedan. This Packard has had a complete restoration with the Original Colors, Dual Side Mounts and Trunk Rack. The previous owner had the engine, transmission and clutch rebuilt. The interior was redone as well and is beautiful. It has the original gauges. This is a great running and driving car that has the look only a Packard could have. Over $125,000 was said to be spent on the restoration!!
