Classic Car Overview

In the late 1920s and early 1930s, the Ford Model A was one of the most publicized and best-selling cars in America. It was sporty, attractive, well-built, and smooth-running compared to the Model T, which it replaced in the 1928 model year. -museum of American speed.

This 1930 Ford Model A Roadster is powered by a 201 cubic inch L head inline 4-cylinder engine paired with a 3-speed manual transmission. It has been in the same family since purchased new in Cambridge Massachusetts for $290.00 by the current owners great grandmother. Since that time, this Ford has travelled several hundred-thousand miles and has been restored and repainted over multiple generations. It is now wearing Crimson Red paint representing Harvard, the current owners alma mater.

After not being used for a 10-year span starting in 1934, it was refreshed and has been used actively since then. It has been driven on several long-distance road trips throughout North Americas old factory towns and mill villages.

Originally Andalusite Blue, this Model A was in one known accident early in its life by the original owner on a road trip to Montreal, which explains the welding on the windshield frame. In average overall condition this Model A is a great driver with a fantastic back story.
