Following in the tradition of previous Ford factory built Mustang race cars like the 1968 Cobra Jet, the Boss 429 and the FR500S Mustang Challenge car, Ford Racing and AAI started work on a production run of 50 Cobra Jet Mustangs in January 2010. Ford Racing built 50 Cobra Jet Mustangs at Ford vendor facilities.

re-built 302 Ford motor with only 190 miles on it and is equipped with state of the art
Edelbrock parts. These Edelbrock brand name parts include: camshaft and lifter kit
torkers, intake manifold, 600 CFM 4-barrell carburetor 1406, mechanical fuel pump,
valve covers, and a 1 inch carburetor spacer. Custom fabrication has also been done on
this beauty. You will find a custom made duel, cold-air intake leading to brand new air
filters. Recently replaced and brand new items include: MSD digital 6AL ignition
controllers, MSD blaster 2 ignition coils, Hayden oil filter relocation kits, power steering
pump, Summit Racing 100 amp alternator, Headman headers with glass pack mufflers
and duel exhaust, and a recently resealed water pump and timing cover. Youll also find
a C4 transmission with a 9-inch rear differential. The body of this classic rod has a TCI
steel frame with a pinto front end. The top has also been chopped 3.5 inches creating a
custom appearance while sitting on wheels specifically designed for this one-of-a-kind
hot rod. Other features included are electric windows, auto meter gauges and the entire
electrical system is a painless wiring harness. One last enhancement included that you
wont find in many classic rods is an aluminum racing fuel cell with foam.
