Following in the tradition of previous Ford factory built Mustang race cars like the 1968 Cobra Jet, the Boss 429 and the FR500S Mustang Challenge car, Ford Racing and AAI started work on a production run of 50 Cobra Jet Mustangs in January 2010. Ford Racing built 50 Cobra Jet Mustangs at Ford vendor facilities.

Original steel body with current registration. Ford 460 engine rebuilt about a year ago, C6 Transmission, and 9 inch ford rear end.
New Holley 750 cfm carburetor, Holley fuel pump/ pressure regulator, aluminum fuel cell, Cold case Radiator, overflow, fan, and shroud, power master high torque starter, new distributor, short headers are wrapped with chrome tips baffles, B&M shifter.
Completely rewired with Ron Francis Express wiring series kit. Turn signals, hi/low switch, horn, new gauges and accessories wired. Custom dash, Red top Optima battery is concealed in the toolbox on the bed, new Tuff Stuff single wire alternator. Prewired for additional lighting and radio.
The seats are custom made fabric, The door panels, kick panels, steering wheel are custom hand stamped saddle grade leather. Custom carpet with inlayed saddle grade leather. The door panels, kick panels, and carpet have remote controlled inlayed fiber optic accent lighting with color matched pods under the dash. New custom hardwood and steel bed base.
4 link front/rear suspension with coil over adjustable shocks on rear. Brand new Rear tires Mickey Thompson 29x15.00R15LT and Front tires Hoosier Pro Street 25x7.50R15LT.
