Classic Car Overview

1928 Nash Standard Six Fordor Sedan (Series 420 family) This is NON Running Project Car. It will turn over but it has low compression on 2 cylinders and a cooliing system issue. Car does roll and stop. Features Finished in Dark Blue over Grey Cloth Powered by the 201 ci L Head inline-six paired to a 3 speed manual (Non Synchronized) transmission 40-45 HP Single Carburetor Cast Iron Block and Head Solid Front Axle Live Rear Axle Mechanical Drum Brakes Pressed Steel Disc Wheels Color Matched to the Car This 1928 Nash Standard Six Fordor Sedan is a well-preserved example of Nash?s early six-cylinder family car, powered by a factory L-head inline-six engine paired with a 3-speed manual transmission. Finished in dark blue over black fenders, the car retains its period-correct steel body, Nash radiator shell, and factory-style disc wheels. Inside, the car features a factory Nash instrument panel with integrated gauges and mechanical odometer. Period accessories include a Boyce Motometer mounted to the radiator cap. The engine bay presents correctly for the era with a central distributor and original-style six-cylinder layout. A solid and honest example of late-1920s Nash engineering, representing the brand?s transition into refined six-cylinder closed sedans ahead of the Depression-era redesigns.
