Classic Car Overview

1927 Ford Track T Ever since there were cars you can bet there has been people wanting to race them. The Track T used the Ford Model T as their base due to their affordability and simplicity which was an ideal starting point for racers. They had a stripped down appearance, exposed engines and minimalist bodies. The also tended to have a lower stance and larger wheels to improve traction for dirt track racing. The post WWII era was the boom for these cars with many veterans using their mechanical skills for car modification. There was also a rise in Hot Rod Associations which gave these racers a venue to compete. This cool 1927 Ford Track T is inspired by those vintage racers, in particular Frank Carroll. It is somewhat a tribute to one of his Track Ts and you will note it is sponsored by his Ford dealership and the driver is listed as his son, Dave Carroll. The body is painted Blue and features old school White scallops and various hot rod decals. It also has the number 12 on the sides. The car was made to be street legal so does have all the requirements like headlights, turn signals, and taillights. The steel wheels are painted Blue and feature Red pinstriping, beauty rings, polished center caps and BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. The car has a lift off hood and is powered by a 4 cylinder pinto motor with a NOS system and automatic transmission. It has a single side pipe running down the passengers side and on the drivers side are injectors but those are just decorative. It has front disc brakes and the front suspension is totally chromed out. Inside it is very minimalistic with metal hot rod bomber seats with cushion seat bottoms. The dash is painted Blue and topped with aftermarket Black gauges. There are various toggle switches with a NOS switch on the right side. On the floor is mounted a Lokar shifter. This is a really unique car that is sure to turn heads. This Track T could be in your garage for $17,500.00! NOW REDUCED DOWN TO $15,000.00!
