Classic Car Overview
This 1925 Ford T-bucket is for lovers of true old-school hot rodding. Because as you dive into the details, you'll see a shining presentation that proves this is far more than just a lightweight street machine with a powerful V8 up front.
Like any good hot rod, this V8 was built to run. The 350 cubic-inch motor has been enhanced with an Edelbrock aluminum intake and a Carter Competition Series AFB 9635 four-barrel carburetor. That makes for makes plenty of power to feed those Headers and growling side pipes. Plus, the engine is mated with a stout three-speed automatic transmission and a gm 10 bolt rear end (4.33). For stopping power, you have drums in the rear and disc in the front.
This classic t-bucket knows how to make a proper first impression. The top of the grill, oversized, temperature gage on the motor, headlight bezels, carriage lights and chrome accents all create a very uniform look. The unique custom pin stripping on the body coordinates nicely with a ton of brightwork. The polished drop axle front end, one-piece upright windshield, long side pipes all deliver that classic custom T-bucket look in a shining package.
Even the wheels are terrific. Up front is the classic skinny tires on drag-style wheels. The rear has the width (Mickey Thompson, Classic 50s) to show where the rubber meets the road, and the old school 30 spoke wheels are tight and make the car look amazing.
No shortcuts were taken on this motor, and so it deserves to be on display for the world to see. It's a tidy setup with upgraded pulleys, chrome air topper, and matching valve covers that also hint at the bow tie power in this 1925 Ford t-bucket.
The engine is dressed with a bit of chrome and aluminum dress-up, including Chrome valve covers, transmission pan, oil pan, starter, air cleaner, chrome alternator, and other accessories, along with chrome side pipes that are a key element of the T-bucket look.
This beautiful car recently placed 3rd in a local car show.
The price is $22,000 o.b.o.
