This MG has been in the family for it’s entire life in Newnan GA. It was removed from our  barn around the year 2000 and sent out for restoration. As can be seen in the before pictures, it has always been in pretty good condition but underwent a “frame off” restoration and has not been used much since with the exception of a few Joy rides and some excercise runs. It is a 10 out of 10 and drives as nice as it looks. We are simply parting with things that we are no longer using. Comes with a zippered bag for storage and delivery can be arranged depending on where you live. Because of the prevalence of scam callers out there, please contact me through Auto Trader email and I’ll call you promptly. It has been appraised for more but I’d rather see it go quickly to a good home than squeeze every dime out of it. ... Read more

This classic woody wagon was custom built by Cecil Taylor with Hercules Motor Car in Tampa Florida and completed in 2003. This gorgeous Woody Wagon was once owned by the eccentric and world-renowned Decatur, Georgia based designer, Ryan Gainey. Mr. Gainey and I were friends and next-door neighbors, and he left the woody to me following his death in a tragic fire in the summer of 2016 while heroically attempting to save his beloved Jack Russell Terriers; Leo, Baby Ruth, and Jelly Bean.I once asked him why he purchased that particular wagon and he responded that ever since seeing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang he had always wanted a Woody. I spent countless hours painstakingly refurbishing the car to its current condition.Let’s face it, anyone can go out and buy a Ferrari or a well-done Mustang, but this ride is a real head turner and has a very distinctive vibe that you just can't get anywhere else. If you should find yourself in the driver's seat of this woody, please be forewarned, I can't even drive it around the block without getting honks, waves, thumbs up and the like, and you will likely get the same thing. So if any of that offends you this car is not for you. Believe it or not (and don’t tell my wife) but I even get waves and smiles from pretty ladies who would never give me the time of day if I were in my daily driver. This past  August, just after I completed the refurbishment work, I took The Woody to Caffeine and Octane (and if you didn’t already know: it's a monthly nationally recognized all makes, all models car show in Atlanta, GA that regularly attracts over 2,000 vehicles and 15,000 fans). As I rolled in, I  parked where I was directed, with all the other thousands of cars. While talking to a buddy a few spaces over during the setup, I noticed a gentleman swiftly making a b-line towards The Woody. He took a quick pensive walk around stopping briefly at all four sides. He then quickly stuck his head inside, and when it came out he said, “who’s the owner of this car"? I stepped up and said, "I am." He went on to ask, "have you ever been in the featured area before"? I replied no. He said let's go. I'm not trying to brag but out of over 2,000 cars in attendance that day I thought it was an honor to have been asked to be a featured automobile. This distinguished wagon features:GM Grate 350TCI ChassisVintage AirWalker radiatorTEA's design seats with matching slip coversRegistered as 1933New marine grade carpet and other custom work by Mad Stitchers in Chamblee GA  Refinished exterior hard maple wood retains some original patina.Recent straight black paintNew BatteryNew exhaust header manifold and all new flange gaskets  New Motor MountsBillet Banjo Steering WheelBillet Specialties Wheels4 Barrel CarburetorMustang 9” Rear EndTurbo 350 TransmissionKill Switch on Passenger FloorNew stereo system with USB and BluetoothNew tires with less than 1000 milesBF Goodwrench Radial TA in RearMichelin FrontThe State of Georgia does not issue or recognize titles for vehicles older than 1983. Numbers matching 350hp 327ci L79 engine, 4 speed manual transmission. Features include side exhaust, AM/FM radio, redline tires. Originally assembled on March 7, 1967, this BODY-OFF RESTORED 1967 Corvette L79 Convertible features FACTORY SIDE EXHAUST, is pedigreed with both the NCRS Top Flight (2013 Regional, Kissimmee) and Bloomington Gold (2013) awards and its ORIGINAL TANK STICKER (verified by NCRS), and is in very original condition. Odometer was reset after the restoration, but actual miles are believed to be somewhere around 59,000. Someone went to great lengths to ensure that nearly every component and piece of hardware on this car is original and correct, and it really shows. Unlike many Top Flight cars, this car is presented exactly as it was judged, with no parts removed after judging. Rarely does one find for sale a Top Flight NCRS or a Bloomington Gold mid year as it was judged as many do not have all the correct parts used in judging. The reason is; many of the original parts are worth serious money on the open market so either someone loaned parts to the car to gain judging points, and or exchanged parts after judging. Not is this case. What was judged is on the Vette. Be assured you can have this Vette judged again with confidence. This Vettes condition is as when delivered new. Judging sheets are available. This cars paint is newer, and is good-vg with a nice shine. Correct date coded convertible top is vg, as are the chrome bumpers and correct original exterior door handles. Side glass shows correct date codes, and weatherstripping looks to be newer and is vg. Correct original DC code rally wheels are vg with original trim rings and caps, and vintage non-DOT Goodyear Power Cushion redline bias-ply tires show an average of 12/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this 1967 Corvette L79 Convertible shows vg newer carpet, good condition dash pods, center console, and steering wheel, and vg-exc gauges and glovebox lid. Seats and door panels are original/unrestored. Correct AM/FM radio is in place, as are correct GM seatbelts. The numbers matching L79 engine in this car shows original casting date February 14, 1967, and final assembly date February 24, 1967. Sublime Green exterior, Black interior. 340ci V8 engine, HD automatic transmission, Power steering, Rotisserie restoration. This Challenger is as nice as they come. Completely restored from top to bottom in 2009, over $60+ was spent in replacing every nut and bolt. North Carolina was home to this Dodge almost its entire life and treated it well with hardly any rust before the restoration. Originally a 383ci 4bbl car, a 340ci V8 has been installed and completely gone through and rebuilt. The HD automatic transmission features the sought after Slap Stik shifter that makes this car a blast to drive. Sublime green is the exterior paint color and no corners were cut during the paint and body. The paint has a mirror finish and the body is laser straight. A black vinyl top finishes the outside with that classic Mopar look. The interior is fresh with bucket seats and a center console. This Challenger runs great and would make a perfect weekend getaway car or local car show winner. It is priced to sell and will not last long. Come out to see it in person today!... Read more
