#s matching 442 with broadcast sheet. Vin # match 455 motor and turbo 400 auto. Factory code 75 Matador red. Lived in Atlanta most of its life, virtually rust free. Restored to beautiful condition. EXTERIOR: Gorgeous repaint in its original Matador red color, set off with the optional white stripes. The body is in excellent shape. This car was sold new at Callaway Motors in Decatur GA and lived there most of its life. The body has its original metal. Original 1/4 panels, bottom of the doors still have clean seems, inside the door jambs you can still see the factory spot welds, bottom of the fenders are clean. All the body panels line up nice and square. A little known fact is the 442 emblems were not spaced equally from the factory. The 4s were tight and there was a space between the 4 and 2. The reason I mention this is because I rarely see them correct. If someone were to replace a panel or make a Cutlass into a 442 they would logically space the 442 equally which is wrong. This car has the 442 emblems as it left the factory! Painted about 10 years ago and still shines beautifully. As I walk around it I dont see any significant flaws. The bumpers are rechomed, in back it has the notched bumper for the trumpet exhaust tips. Stainless is great, trim around windshield is polished. Grills, hood louvers, headlight bezels are in great shape. Has new lenses in back. Windshield, window seals and weatherstrips look new. The color matched Rally wheels have been restored, trim is bright. The white convertible top that still looks new and it has new weather stripping on the convertible frame. Top boot is new. INTERIOR: Its in excellent shape inside, unabused and weel cared for. The upholstery, door panels, carpeting, dash pad are all very, very good condition. Has reproduction floor mats and a sport steering wheel. The dash area is very nice- nothing cracked or cut, the vents, bezels, wood grain is excellent. The ashtray door is not broke, ashtray is clean, original lighter matches the other knobs. Nice glovebox, has power trunk release (didnt work when i tried it). Has the glovebox pouch with original manuals, warrantybook filled out with original dealers info and buyers info and original broadcast sheet found in the car. There is a set of gauges mounted neatly under the dash to moniter the engines vitals. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Spotless metal with a clean coat of spatter paint. It has optional rubber Oldsmobile mat. The jack is clean, has spare with tire cover and correct lug wrench. The jamb has clean seams, new rubber and is painted very nicely. Bottom side of the trunk lid is painted nice, has the jacking decals. MOTOR COMPARTMENT: I would call it show quality. I just opened the hood and said wow in my head. It is very clean, orderly and detailed just as it left the factory. All the black metal is clean and smooth. The engine has a real nice, clean coat of the correct blue paint. All the wiring is neatly run, has the proper hoses and clamps. The upper hose is attached to the fan shroud like its supposed to be (rarely see that). Air conditioning system has been serviced and upgraded to R134 freon. Bottom of the hood is painted gloss red and it has the installation. Master cylinder and brake booster is detailed, alternator looks new. The 455 motor only has been completely rebuilt only 3,800 miles ago. New pistons, cam, rebuilt heads etc. UNDERSIDE: Super clean metal, dry as a chalkboard. All the factory drain holes, spotwelds and seams are clean. Everything looks proper. Has the Rallye suspension. WHAT 442 MEANS IN 1972: Only 1,179 convertibles were made. The 442 option was a handling and appearance package, it had nothing to do with the motor. You could get a 350 with a 2 barrel carb and single exhaust! This 442 was ordered with the 455, dual exhaust and a 4 barrel. This is designated by the U in the vin #. This motor also required the heavy duty Turbo 400 trans. Both the motor and trans are vin # matched to this car. This 442 has its original Rallye suspension which is required to be a 442. This includes sway bars and boxed control arms. The appearance portion included different grills, 442 emblems and hood louvers. This is an excellent example of a very rare and desirable muscle car convertible! Air conditioning Power steering Power disc brakes Power top Rallye suspension White stripes Sport wheel Rally wheels Sport mirrors Reproduction floormats Power trunk W-29 442 option
This 442 has #s matching 455 ram air and special order paint. Its a Sebring yellow car and probably one if the most rust free original metal 442s around! The factory yellow overspray is still on the clean floors. Underneath has never been painted over, its original and rock solid. The factory seams and spotwelds are clean. At the factory the 442 emblems were spaced a particular way, most people dont know that. Most are spaced wrong in restoration, on this car all the emblems are correct which tells me its original. It has been repainted only once. Has a smooth glossy finish throughout including jambs. New weatherstrips, rechromed bumpers. Glass, top and trim are really good original. Has SS1 wheels with brand new reproduction Polyglass tires. Has original 1970 only front fenders and sport mirrors. Original ram air hood and air cleaner assembly. Carpet, upholstery, door panels, armrests are replaced. Clean dash area. Motor compartment is cleaned and painted. Trunk is clean with spare and jack. Rebuilt front end, updated a/c system. Excellent driving car with only 85,000 actual miles. Air conditioning Power steering Power disc brakes Ram air Sport mirrors Bucket seats Console SS1 wheels Rallye suspension Olds floor mats
Real 442 verified by the vin. Body off frame restored. Very desirable, hard to find a 4-speed in a 442. EXTERIOR: I refer to these as the Lamborghini of muscle cars with its exotic looks- massive hood scoops, rear wing and bold stripes. This body has really clean, dry metal. Doors fit real nice. The paint is outstanding, even along the bottom it has a mirror reflection. The stripes are painted correctly which is not easy to do, I have seen many not done right. The ram air hood is an original- metal with fiberglass scoops. The mirrors are 1970 only, they are pointed, not round. Upfront it does have all new chrome- headlight bezels, bumper, trim and emblems. Grills are new. In back it has new bumper with cutouts for the exhaust tips. New taillight and reverse light lenses. The stainless trim all around the glass is polished. New wheel well trim and door handles. The windshield is new. The door jambs are real nice with slick paint, new sill plates and weatherstrips. This car has SS lll wheels with new trim and BFG tires. INTERIOR: The seats have been reupholstered. Door panels, armrests, carpets, headliner, headrests, seat backs, chrome seat trim, handles and cranks are all new. Original seat belts are in really nice condition. It has a rare 4 speed console. Features include the rally pack gauges and cool the Tick Tock Tachometer. It also has a tilt column with the sport steering wheel. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 455 motor has a fresh clean coat of the correct aqua paint. New chrome valve covers and air cleaner. All the components look new- new sending units, coil, wires, alternator, power steering hoses, battery cables, Optima battery, radiator, shroud, wiper motor etc. Rebuilt carb. New cadium plated brake booster, master and lines. The fire wall and core support is painted smooth. It is a very fresh and tidy motor compartment. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Spotlessly clean metal with a coat of spatter paint. The jamb and bottom of lid is painted real nice. New weatherstrip and jacking decal. UNDERSIDE: The body was removed from the chassis. The floors, frame rails, braces are all clean metal with a nice coat of semi gloss black paint. The frame and suspension was blasted and painted too. Front end is completely rebuilt- new bushings, ball joints, sway bar, shocks etc. New disc brakes. In back it has the boxed control arms and sway bars. New bushings, shocks, springs etc. Upgraded to disc brakes in back with drilled rotors. The bottom of the motor and trans is spotless. New Hurst shift linkage. Has a new fat custom exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and the correct trumpet tips going out through the rear bumper. Everything is new under this car- fuel tank and straps, lines, u-joints, e-brake cables, starter and more. This is an exceptionally clean, high quality restoration that needs just a few things to be completed. The owner went way over budget and is done. There are some stress cracks in the fiberglass hood. The hood can easily be adjusted, missing bumpers. Dash pad has cracks, console missing an insert and a radio needs to be purchased. This is minor considering how nice the rest of the car is. It runs strong, drives tight. I love that deep, lopey 442 sound! Power steering Power disc brakes Tilt deluxe wheel Ram air hood Sport mirrors Rear spoiler F-41 suspension Console Bucket seats
31,903 documented miles. Outstanding survivor. Has original bill of sale, window sticker, build sheet, manuals, maintenance receipts and more. 1 owner until 2006, 31 years. The Missouri dealer that sold it new purchased it back from the estate and kept it in their showroom for 2 years. This car is amazingly clean considering its age. Beautiful triple white combo. Im standing next to the car and it looks brand new. If you get up close and personal you can find minor imperfections. Chrome is bright, rubber is soft, glass is crystal clear. It still has the original dealers sticker on the trunk lid. Body is mint, no rust or damage. Sparkling clean wire wheel hubcaps with new tires. Newer white convertible top. The interior is really impressive especially being white in a convertible. It looks almost brand new. Even the dash area is mint. Inside the trunk is like new, it has the original jack and spare that has not been used. The motor compartment is completely clean as it left the factory, same as the underside. It looks great but the real pleasure is driving it. There is nothing better then how a well maintained original car feels and functions. Heck, theres room for 5 of your friends, make it a party! Pontiac is traditionally given the credit for creating the muscle car on its tempest platform. What is little known is that Oldsmobile, even with its reputation of being a practical, highly optioned family oriented car, was stride by stride with Pontiac in the performance ring. Oldsmobiles F85 was light-weight, sturdy and gave a tremendous platform for applying horsepower. Oldsmobile began restyling all of their full-size models in 1965.GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1965 F 85 Oldsmobile Cutlass for your consideration. Its v8 engine fires right up and performs well and is paired with an automatic transmission. This very straight and solid example is a factory AC car with an all original interior. The interior shows some wear and use, but hey its original. All the glass is good and the windows go up and down properly. It rides on 17 inch American Racing wheels. It has 4 wheel drum brakes. Other highlights include dual exhaust with Pilot Motorsports chrome tips, Pro Tach tachometer, wood steering wheel, wood steering wheel, Edelbrock carburetor, AM/FM/Cassette player, power brakes and power steering, aftermarket oil pressure/amp/temperature gauges. General Motors encouraged completion within their divisions back in the 50s and 60s, and Oldsmobile was at the top of the heap when offering the intersection of performance and luxury. This is very evident in the Cutlass as they are vastly different then their competing cousins. What an opportunity to acquire pure class in a GM car.
The Oldsmobile Cutlass was a marque of automobiles produced by General Motors Oldsmobile division between 1961 and 1999. At its introduction, the Cutlass was Oldsmobiles smallest model; it began as a unibody compact car, but saw its greatest success as a body-on-frame intermediate. The Oldsmobile 4-4-2 is a muscle car produced by Oldsmobile between the 1964 and 1980 model years. This 3 owner, 65 442 Convertible is in excellent condition and shows very well. The first owner had the car from 1965-1970 then it changed hands and the 2nd owner had it until 1998 and then changed hands one more time until 2018. In 2002 the car was fully restored. The car was repainted, given a new interior, new top. According to the owner, the engine and transmission were rebuilt. The bumpers were also re-chromed. The car spent most of its life in Phoenix, Arizona. The car is powered by its 400 v8 paired with a turbo 350. The original 2 speed power glide comes along with the sale of the car. The car currently rides on Hurst re production wheels, but the original 14 inch wheels with come with the sale of the car as well. Other highlights include power brakes, power steering, AM/FM/Cassette player, center console, shop manual and file of receipts, spare tire, Grant steering wheel and factory steering wheel. The Cutlass shared the GM A-body platform with many legendary cars (Chevrolet Chevelle, Pontiac GTO, Buick GS). The Cutlass 3rd generation went through a major body restyle in 1968 as did all the other A-body cars which turned in to the pinnacle of the muscle car era for GM. Their flowing lines, mean stances, and ample room for plenty of power under the hood is exactly what you think of when you think of classic muscle car fun.GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this beautiful 1972 Cutlass for your consideration. This fabulous car was bought brand new by its current owner 46 years ago and has been cherished its whole life. The car was repainted in its original gold factory color but with an added flake. The result is a unique look. The car sits on factory wheels with white wall tires and has a brand new white convertible top. The chrome is excellent and the car is very close to factory spec. The interior is extremely clean as well and features excellent seats, carpet, dashboard and trim. Everything looks stock and factory apart from the newer radio. The car is an excellent runner and features a 350cid V8 with a smooth automatic transmission. Power brakes and power steering means that this is an easy cruiser. With great history and in wonderful condition, youll be hard pressed to find another one like this! The owner claims the cars odometer has rolled over just once and also included three sets of the keys in the sale.To see over 80 photos of this car, including undercarriage please visit our website www.grautogallery.com
During the late 50s early 60s, America was fascinated with the space race; what things would look like in future as new technologies, new designs were on a rapid pace. The American automotive manufactures pick up on this concept and futuristic designs and nameplates began showing up on their cars. The cars were lower, sleeker, interiors with shapely gauges to mimic aerospace cockpits, long rear fenders with taillights designed to resemble rockets or jet engines etc. Vehicles like the Olds Starfire were designed and marketed in this theme. They were big, they were beautiful, they drove smooth and they gave the American public a peak towards the future. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this elegant, 1963 Oldsmobile Starfire Convertible for your consideration. The car has been restored in its original factory color combination, Triple Rose : Antique Rose Metallic exterior paint over Code 999 Rose interior with Rose Convertible top. The car presents itself in excellent condition throughout including excellent paint, miles of excellent original stainless steel exterior trim, fins, excellent chrome, highly detailed engine compartment, highly detailed undercarriage featuring factory correct primer on the floors, and a wonderful interior featuring original gauges, original trim pieces, original factory radio etc. In typical Oldsmobile fashion, the car comes highly optioned including: Bucket seats, console, power steering, power brakes, power top, power antenna, tilt wheel, console mounted Tachometer, interior trim dcor, etc. Mechanically, the car is powered by its 394 Cubic inch engine, 3 speed automatic transmission and rear wheel drive. This fill size, big iron offers a whole lot of smooth when driven on any street or highway. What a great car to get out with your friends or family and tour the country side or take to the beach. Drive with confidence.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1937 Oldsmobile L-37 for your consideration. Finished in a Black and White exterior, with a Neutral Cloth interior. Under the hood is a 257ci Inline 8 with a 3-speed manual attached to the column. This is the original engine and was rebuilt during the restoration. There is some past documentation on this Oldsmobile but unfortunately, most of it was destroyed in a fire back in 2017. This car is a timeless piece of artwork and is ready for the next owner to continue taking care of it. For more information please contact us today. The Oldsmobiles for 1937 were restyled and given several significant mechanical changes. For the first time, the bodies were all-steel and the eight-cylinder cars gained an extra 10 horsepower, bringing the total to 110 BHP. The six- and eight-cylinder cars had several distinguishable features. The six-cylinder cars had a horizontal bar theme at the front while the eight-cylinder cars had a cast grille with, what appeared to be, an intricate mesh. Inside, the cars featured a new dashboard layout plus a number of factory accessories. To see over 80 photos of this car, including under carriage please visit our website www.grautogallery.com

The Cutlass built by Oldsmobile for nearly 40 years saw six generations or platforms and multiple style changes as well as compact to intermediate and midsize configurations. Probably the most popular and now collectable of the Cutlass models are the muscle car era cars from the second and third generation that included cars from 1964-1972. This particular stunning example appears to be all original with its Rocket configuration mated to a very rare HD 3-speed manual floor shift, that was actually built by Ford Motor Company. This car is in very good condition from paint to brakes. The top is excellent as is the interior and all mechanicals. This car starts on a dime and goes down the road beautifully. This is a real head turner that is priced very respectfully for how good the car is. There is no rust or rot anywhere, comes with owners manuals and service history. This car has just come out of Museum storage at the RE Olds Transportation Museum in Lansing MI.
