This1974Jaguar E-Type V12 is a sexy, 150-mph supercar, the heart of any car-loving man, and an elegant coupe convertible, with heavy fenders, and smooth, aero-sleek contours... It is a eye catcher. While not mint condition it is beautiful and worth the investment. Backseat interior missing top bench and a little rust underneath indicative of the cars actual age but overall in good condition.
British Classic Restoration, Kensington, Maryland, is pleased to offer this 1954 Jaguar XK120 SE, in running and driving order. The car is very original and extremely solid for its age (as attached pictures will show). It even sports its original paint which is in need of attention but usable as is. This is an estate car, from Virginia near Richmond and found in very good order. The interior is complete and newer, with plush leather seats and wool carpets. The body is rock solid and shows no signs of accident damage or rust; seams are all excellent and the doors shut with a solid "thunk"! The sills and door shut pillars are all very solid - these are usually weak points on these cars. The aluminum hood and boot are straight and without kinks - another usual problem. The boot is rock solid with spare tire tray in solid condition. The chrome is shiny and will not embarrass anyone. The engine bay is very clean with evidence of new (non-original) wiring probably added for safety and practicality. This is an "SE" (Special Edition). The SE head on the motor (see pictures with number) is the racing version and much more powerful and sought after. The motor starts readily, and has the classic Jaguar throaty (rorty) sound (see video attached). The oil pressure is excellent at plus 40lbs at idle. Underneath, while the car has not been detailed one might think it had been. It is very very clean and rust and grease free (an attest to being kept in climate controlled storage). Again, there is no evidence of structural damage. The electrics all work as they should with no issues. (see pictures attached). The hydraulics are in working order. The fabric top is in good order but showing its age, but rear vinyl window is clear. A set of original side curtains are with the car, in good order, and show well. The original painted wire wheels (SE Spec) are in good order but the tyres are old and should be replaced. Some additional information:- Prior to sale the car will receive a tune-up including points, plugs, condenser, points, etc. -In addition the car has received an oil change and filter.- Fluids were changed/flushed: Transmission, Diff, Brakes, Radiator.-Tie rod ends on both right and left have been replaced.Thank you, serious inquiries invited.

1990 Jaguar XJS Convertible The Jaguar car is world famous for its stylish designs, thrilling performance, luxurious and comfortable interiors, outstanding handling and ride, quality engineering, and state-of-the-art technology. No other automobile manufacturer has been as remarkably successful at creating both the worlds finest luxury sedans, as well as some of the worlds most beloved sports cars. The founder of Jaguar Cars Ltd. was Sir William Lyons. His goal was to create world class sports sedans with grace, space, and pace. Lyons once said, The car is the closest thing we will ever create to something that is alive. In September of 1989, after the Ford Motor Company purchase of Jaguar, a change came to the XJS as it was powered by a special 5,993 cc (365.7 cu in) V12 engine with Zytek fuel injection and engine management system. This enabled the car to have a top speed of 158 mph. The consigner, who has owned the car since 1994, has had the car professionally maintained. During this time a new top and header was put on, new heads and a valve job, new front catalytic converters, starter, brake pads and calipers, steering rack rebuild, front wheel bearings, wiring, and on 5/18, fresh Pennsylvania inspection. Exterior Steel Blue paint showing some blemishes, particularly on the passengers side door, presents fair. Chrome and badging are in good condition. Top is new and boot cover has a few marks but in good condition. Drivers side fog lamp appears water damaged, all other exterior lighting is working and intact. Bumpers are clear and shiny. Woven magnesium wheels are present all around, and tires are showing little wear. Interior Leather seats show some wear on drivers side, center console armrest, as well as door arm rests. Carpeting is in good condition mostly clear and free from staining. All of the dash panel and door panel veneer is in good condition. Center console veneer is also in good condition, as are all switches and buttons that control various interior comforts. Just over 77,000 miles are shown, however considering all the recent repairs and replacements, this car is good to go. Drivetrain The 365ci V12 engine with fuel injection, delivers very smooth power. Some slight corrosion on aluminum parts is seen, but otherwise engine is clean. A TH400 3-speed automatic transmission drives wheels that are controlled by the rear IRS,and front a-arms. Power disc brakes and dual exhaust round out the package, which appears in very nice condition underneath, with no rust on floor pan, or rockers. The consigner reluctantly gave this car to Classic Auto Mall due to physical limitations with driving it safely. Excellent mechanically, and fair cosmetically, a daily driver that is powerful and smooth running. Jaguar styling and V12 power, in a 1990s package.
Those with a limited budget should consider purchasing a project vehicle as an option to entering into classic car ownership.
1960 Jaguar MK2 Sedan Jaguar is responsible for some of the most memorable cars ever produced. Its no coincidence that the brands designs tend to age gracefully. And its no coincidence that well-preserved Jaguars always find a dedicated group of fans that are ready and willing to pay top dollar for their favorite vintage. There has been a recent uptick in European cars and if this trend has piqued your interest, this Jaguar is worth a look. In 1960 Jaguar introduced the MK2 Sedan to the world. Unlike the MK7, the MK2 was a smaller, sportier and better handling 4-door sedan. Power is provided by the same 3.8-liter double overhead cam engine, same as the XK-150 and later in the XKE. It produced 220hp and was available in either 4-speed or Borg Warner automatic transmission. In American trim the 3.8 could sprint from 0-60 mph in 9.2 seconds. Exterior Noted Jaguar restorer Terry Lippincott, of Reading Pennsylvania poured over 1700 man hours into the creation of this one off 3.8 Sedan. Built over an 18-month period this Concours winning gem still looks as good as it did when the build was completed 25 years ago. A beautiful dark blue lacquer covers very straight and true steel body panels. Door and panel gaps remain flawless and consistent. Chrome and brite work are very clean, and all correct for this model. Louvering is seen in the bonnet deviates from the original but allows more airflow for the upgraded AC unit. Chromed spoked knockoffs are seen on all four corners. Simple but elegant would describe this saloon 4-door sports car. Yes, sports car. Interior Hand cut leather on seats and door trim, dyed with beautiful cranberry wrap the 2 front buckets, a rear bench, and door panels. Wilton wool carpeting shows flawless on the floor and compliments the leather seats. In true to British coach building tradition, burl walnut veneer, accented by cherry is attached to the dash surfaces. Save for a black metal area in the center that houses gauges, and a plethora of toggle switches, its all wood, right down to the steering wheel emblazoned with a 3 dimensional Jaguar bust. Felt is seen on the headliner area and is in mint condition. Drivetrain A pristine 3.8 Liter double overhead cam engine, the same that powered the XK-150, and later XKE, is backed by a Model 65 Borg Warner Automatic aluminum transmission, and Landis torque converter. A new H/AC unit was installed with a Model SR833 unit with a turbo fan mounted in front of the AC compressor. With this a new 1966 3.8S radiator was beefed up and installed, as well as a 4.2 Liter water pump. To say this car blows cold is an understatement! Undercarriage In full British proper the pristine underside, shows 4-wheel disc brakes, powered by a new power brake unit. The starter and alternator are updated with 1976 XJ6 units and are powered through negative ground. A completely new brake power unit was installed as well as 1990 XJS short tower power steering rack and new power steering pump and brackets. Absolutely no rust, and a stainless steel exhaust can be seen throughout. Offered is perhaps the finest driving, performing and cosmetically detailed Jaguar MK2 on the market today. More modern Jaguar technology and mechanicals incorporated into a timeless style making this Jaguar special beyond words. A complete photo history of every step of the restoration is included along with full documentation of all modifications performed at Lippincotts. Featured in the October 1998 edition of Autoweek magazine, it would be difficult to recreate this treasure at 3 times the cost at time of build. You must see this wonderful Jaguar utilizing all Jaguar updated parts. It feels as if youre driving an XKE with 4 doors and all the modern conveniences of todays sports sedans. I say!
This squeaky-clean, Italian Racing Red, with Tan Leather interior 2013 Jaguar XK Convertible is an exceptionally good grand tourer with excellent handling, a cockpit that is comfortable, elegant, and warm... swathed in soft leather, and plenty of sound deadening to keep the cabin quiet. It has impressive agility and surefootedness, allowing it to corner flat and dance as if it were 1,500 pounds lighter and two feet shorter (the 2015 XK is all-aluminum). It employs a muscular 5.0-liter V8 engine with 385 horsepower for straight up impressive performance. That, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission (that can also be shifted manually, using shift paddles located behind the steering wheel), and rear-wheel drive will have you smiling ear to ear.
