An exceptionally well preserved and fully restored 1977 Scout II in the upscale Traveler trim. While it is possible to remove the roof for cool open-top cruising, one look at the interior, and you know this one did not spend much of its life open to the world. Rarely do you see door panels, dash, center console, and flooring in such a nice condition after all these years.  Cup holder center console, upgraded Pioneer bluetooth stereo with remote, New speakers front and rear, factory air conditioning, brand new 33" BFG KO2 all terrain tires sit on a brand new modest 2.5" lift kit from Rough Country, Custom roll bar with flat legs in the front so you don’t have any leg room issues.  This Scout has the original optional 345 cubic-inch motor, there's plenty of torque so it never feels like it's working hard. Plus, the low rumble from the brand new dual exhaust is always a favorite. It's mated to a three-speed automatic transmission for easy driving, and the power steering and front disc brakes add to this feeling. The four-wheel drive system is a stout Dana 20 two-speed transfer case that connects to Dana axles at both ends. Perhaps the greatest part about owning this Traveler is that it has had a tailgate conversion.  A tailgate from an old Scout was rescued and restored to paint match.  This allows for a tailgate when the top is removed.  The rear hatch is mated to the tailgate just like a traditional Scout II.  The Traveler is longer than a regular Scout II by 18" from the manufacturer.  Clear Arizona "A BOX" title.  Private party, no sales tax. There are very few Scout Travelers this striking or original left out there and with zero rust.   This turns head all day long. Call for more details or more pictures etc..  ... Read more

Up for sale is my handsome head turner, a 1970 International Scout 800a. Has a 304 v8 engine. This truck was restored prior to my purchase. It is beautiful. Not perfect, but amazing from afar and Very good up close. The Engine compartment is impeccable. The engine has undergone a rebuild and most of the components under the hood are new as you can see in the photo. It has disc brakes in the front and brand new rear drums and breaks with less than 5 miles on them. A brand new passenger side gas tank, two new neck fillers, a brand new E break, and ignition switch . Also with the truck comes a very nice waterproof Fourseason cover, new Matt black mirrors, windshield wiperblade conversion kit And seals and felts for the windows. The truck also has spray in bedliner intermittently throughout and along the entire floor and pan, the removable top, around the wheel wells, as well as the undercarriage and frame. The truck has no heavy rust. Only tiny spots on bare metal parts, here and there. Ie. on the lugs, hubs, door latches, ect. It has spent most of its life in Arizona up until last summer. Upon inspection I found a perforation in the muffler itself, but the pipes are solid. Personally, I love how the truck sounds. So Keep the little hole! In my opinion, the worst part about the truck are most of the rubbers and seals. They are older and harder. That was on my to do list. I drove this truck a total of 20 miles because I cannot drive manual and I work seven days a week. Its not my time to have this amazing toy. The truck has a clean title, is fully insured and registered and has a Vin of 782827G373572. This truck needs to go to somebody who knows exactly what it is. An awesome looking, functional workhorse, an American SUV classic.... Read more

Worldwide Vintage Autos is pleased to present this 1974 International Scout. HISTORY The International Harvester Scout is an off-road vehicle produced by International Harvester from 1961 to 1980. A precursor of more sophisticated SUVs to come, it was created as a competitor to the Jeep, and it initially featured a fold-down windshield. The Scout and second-generation Scout II were produced in Fort Wayne, Indiana, as two-door trucks with a removable hard top with options of a full-length roof, half-cab pickup, and/or soft top.Source: Wikipedia.comSPECIFICS / BUILD INFORMATION EXTERIOR -International Orange-New Rallye Decal-Custom steel winch bumper-Brand new Smittybuilt winch-Factory removable hardtopINTERIOR -Original dash and gauges -New weatherstripping-Bucket seatsMECHANICAL-International 304 V8-4 Speed manual transmission-Power steering-Power brakesDISCLOSURE-COSMETIC-Imperfections in weather striping (See detailed pictures)-A few chips in windshield (See detailed pictures)-MECHANICAL Please refer to the 28 point inspection report located in the photos above. 1961 Scout Sierra truck and original Scout camper. True barn find!   Very rare! All original except engine which is a 383 stroker. It also has Ford 9" axles.  The old guy that put this together was a machinist for many years so it's done right. The camper is wired on from the factory.  Original paint! Has damage to the front fender and grill but we have a new front clip with the grill.  It only needs the fender and clutch.  Will start and run. Extremely rare vehicle.  Serious inquiries only.  ... This is a 1977 International Scout Traveler with only 1 owner.  It has been always covered and always been maintained.  It includes hard to find oil filters and gas filters. This is a very rare Diesel powered Traveler and the maintenance on it is very easy and you don’t have to worry about getting it smogged.  Very low mileage of 89391.  If you spend a couple of weeks working on this Traveler to fully restore it … I’ve seen them going for 25,000 +.  I don’t have time to restore it, so I decided to sell it to someone that has the time to restore this very rare vehicle and reap the possible rewards.  It has some rust in places, but it can easily be taken care of. The Traveler is in solid condition and has a very large gas tank.  The tires are in very good condition.  It has a full size spare tire with a matching rim from the other tires.  I had the power steering pump rebuilt recently. The VIN number is G0083GGD26015 ... If you need to see more pictures, let me know ... ... Read more

This International Scout 2 originally came from North Dakota and was the personal vehicle of an International dealership owner. It has the original build sheet along with owner’s manual documentation. The dealer’s sticker is still on the tailgate. It is somewhat of a project piece and has minimal rust and damage considering the age and location in which it started out. The Scout 2 is RIGHT hand drive, 3 speed manual transmission and 4 wheel drive! That’s right you drive postman style and shift with your left hand!  She goes topless in the summer and trudges the snow in the winter!  Great rig just don’t have the time to continue the project as we are over the road drivers. She gets lots of looks going down the road with your dog in the drivers seat! ... Read more
