Nicely coordinated, thoughtfully built, and extremely powerful - 1959 Ford Ranchero is distinction and muscle in one terrific vintage package. This is the pickup with terrific style lines. Its like a square Thunderbird with a truck bed. We love the design cues from this model like the flat front that looks even wider thanks to the quad headlight package. The bright work package including the wide bumper and full-width grille is complete and shining. Plus, the arched tail fins run from the door handles until they meet up with the jet-inspired taillights. And if that wasnt enough to get you inspired, the metallic brown paint with a bright white sandwiched in-between has as much appeal as going to a car hop for a root beer float. Another reason why these Rancheros stir a lot of attention is because of rarity. This was the final year for the big Ranchero. Ford was discontinuing them because they werent as popular as other models. That makes them a rare sight today with just over 14,000 examples produced (so just imagine how fewer are left six decades later!) But more than just history, you can tell this one is something extra special with upgrades like the LED surrounds in the headlights, LED fog lights, and white bed liner paint. While the American Racing Salt Flats wheels are a classic design, there large size and huge shine hint at upgraded performance (more on that in moment.) Owning a cool looking cruiser means a matching interior. This white and brown coordination includes the carpets, dash, and door panels. The seats are particularly comfortable with nice brown cloth inserts for where you sit, and theres also a fold-down armrest for individualized luxury. This is even power adjustable! While you have nice upgrades like an AM/FM/cassette stereo and auxiliary gauges, this one never loses its classic feeling. Thats because once you slip behind the artful steering wheel and gaze at the factory gauges, this gives the perfect vintage atmosphere. When you look under the hood of a full-sized Ford, you expect to see plenty of motor, and this one doesnt disappoint. This Ranchero came along at the beginning of the big block era, but it never received something this wild. Its a huge 460 cubic-inch V8, and you can instantly see that big displacement is far from the only powerful upgrade. Roller rockers, Comp Cams camshaft, MSD distributor, Ford Motorsport valve covers, an aluminum intake, and a Holley Street Avenger four-barrel carburetor headline an impressive performance package. The C6 three-speed automatic transmission is stout enough to get all this power to the pavement. Plus, factory features like power steering are joined by great upgrades like the four-wheel disc brakes and modern BF Goodrich gForce tires to give this classic some modern moves. This Ranchero looks great, sounds great, and has tons of power. So its a total package classic for those who love muscle and want to be memorable. If thats you, call today!

BID AND WIN this vehicle on www.WheelerAuctionGroup.com 1957 Ford Custom Ranchero Debut model year for Fords hybrid car-truck One of 15,277 Custom Rancheros made in 1957 351 CID V-8 engine Ford-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission Colonial White over Starmist Blue exterior Colonial and blue vinyl interior (code X) Air-conditioning, power steering and power brakes Thunderbird wire wheel covers We are very pleased to offer this 1957 Ford Custom Ranchero. Built at Fords San Jose, California factory on February 5, 1957, about two months after being unveiled at the National Automobile Show in New York. This is one of 15,277 Custom Rancheros (VIN code 66B) made in 1957. Finished in a beautiful Colonial White over Starmist Blue, this trucks paint and trim are in overall excellent condition. Its bodywork is solid and straight, its engine bay is extremely tidy, the battery looks new, theres a black tonneau cover for the bed and the chrome bumpers are in excellent order. This Ranchero was originally painted Colonial White over Dresden Blue (code CE). Under that forward-hinged hood is a 351 CID V-8 that replaced the 292 CID V-8 Custom Rancheros had installed at the factory. Backing that engine is a Ford-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. This Ranchero rolls on wide whitewall radial tires with Thunderbird wire wheel covers. The tires and wheels are in overall very good order. Inside, the Colonial and Blue (code X) interior is in overall excellent order, mirroring the exterior. The white bench seat with blue insert looks fantastic, as do the matching inner door panels and carpet. The three-spoke aftermarket steering wheel rim glows in the light. A Retro Sound AM/FM stereo is at home in the blue metal instrument panel. Introduced in December 1956, three months after the traditional September model year start-up, the Ranchero was based on the standard and new-for-1957 full-sized Ford platform, specifically the short wheelbase Custom sedan, two-door Ranch Wagon and utilitarian Courier sedan delivery. Essentially a Courier with an open, reinforced bed, its own unique rear window and integrated cab and cargo box, the Ranchero was initially offered in two trim levels, and throughout the model run, was built on the corresponding automobile assembly line, but sold through Fords truck division. An extremely basic standard model was marketed to traditional pickup truck buyers such as farmers while the Custom picked up most of the options and accessories available on the Fairline line, including stainless steel body side moldings and two-tone paint. Upscale models were badged both as a Fairlane and Ranchero, with a stylized representation of a Longhorn as the symbol for the model located on the tailgate. Indeed, print advertising of the time played on the theme of the American Southwest that the Spanish model name and Longhorn symbol were meant to evoke, showing artistic representations of the vehicle being used in ranching and outdoor activities, proclaiming it as More Than A Car! More Than A Truck! The Ranchero was a hit with both the automotive press and the buying public, filling an untapped market niche for vehicles with the utility of a light pickup and the ease of operation and riding characteristics of a car. In fact, the Ranchero had a marginally higher cargo capacity by about 50 pounds than the half-ton F-Series pickup. Competition to this Ranchero in 1957 included the re-badged Meteor for Canada plus Chevrolets 3100, Dodges C-100 and Fords F-100 half-ton pickup trucks. This is a gorgeous first-year Ranchero in a color combination that will turn heads. If youre a classic Ford fan, you like car-truck blends like this or youre looking for something different to add to your rolling repertoire, you owe it to yourself to own this vehicle! Vehicle is located in Missouri, USA. Bidder/Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping from this location to wherever they want it shipped to.
Why This Car is Special: Previous owner had this Ranchero for 37 years! Believed to have the original motor and transmission, too. Title also states this is an ACTUAL miles vehicle. Exterior: This Ranchero has a beautiful coat of red paint that really makes the chrome pop. The paint was redone in 2010. There are no gouges, or issues with the panels from what we can see. She is solid. The previous owner also had new tires put on, and added a hard top bed cover that matches the top. Mechanical: Under the hood we have a 390 V8 motor and an automatic transmission. She shifts gears nicely and is a pleasure to drive. A/C blows cold and is functional. Even all of the gauges work, which is a pleasant surprise. Interior: To match the red paint, our interior is also red. This is the original interior that came with the vehicle, and it still looks nice and sharp. Conclusion: This is a fantastic vehicle that is really solid and is mostly all original from what we can tell. This is a great find and a great buy! Now available in our Houston showroom is this Burnt Orange and White 1969 Ford Ranchero. The Ford Ranchero is a coupe utility that was produced by Ford between 1957 and 1979. Unlike a pickup truck, the Ranchero was adapted from a two-door station wagon platform that integrated the cab and cargo bed into the body. A total of 508,355 units were produced during the models production run. Over its lifespan it was variously derived from full-sized, compact, and intermediate automobiles sold by Ford for the North American market. The original Ranchero sold well enough to spawn a competitor from General Motors in 1959, the Chevrolet El Camino. This Ranchero is well-equipped. Under the hood is a 351 CID V8, backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly through the gears; and, together, provide plenty of pep to get this baby rolling down the highway quickly. Inside the cockpit are a few tasteful upgrades over its original interior, with leather bucket seats, an aftermarket console that houses a 3-gauge cluster, and a Sony AM/FM/CD head unit to crank out your tunes while youre cruising. Upgraded speakers are mounted behind the seats, providing better sound quality than you could ever find from the factory! This Ranchero also has cold A/C, Power Steering, Seat Belts, and White Wall Radial Tires. Classic Ford Rancheros in this condition are pretty hard to find, so you need to act quickly! VIN: 9K48F******Year: 1969Make: FordModel: RancheroExterior Color: GoldInterior Color: BlackMileage: 73,000Engine: 302 V8Transmission: 3 Speed AutomaticVehicle Description:1969 Ford Ranchero, gold in color with black stripe decals. This car starts and drives well, a good low priced classic. Tires are good, and the paint looks good with only a few minor defects (please see photos). The interior is all brand new, from seats, carpet, door panels, etc. This Ranchero came in from an auction out west and has been stored indoors, in a private collection for the last 6 years. Has over $6,000 in new parts including brand new interior, cooling system, aluminum intake, 4bbl carburetor and all new ignition system and tune-up items. It has a 302 Ford V8 with a C4 3sd automatic transmission. It has an aluminum radiator so cooling even here in the Texas summers is no problem. It has 73,000 miles on the odometer but the engine has been rebuilt at some point and we were told that it has around 25,000 miles or so. While we cannot verify the exact engine mileage, we can verify that it runs like a champ without any issues. We have just had an edlebrock 4bbl intake and carb installed to really add some power and the car is alot of fun to drive. This is also a very functional vehicle, you could use it for business or taking trips, the truck bed gives you a million options. I personally have driven this car alot for pleasure on extended trips (over 150 miles) without any issues. The new rear air shocks help level loads you may be hauling in the rear bed and help make for a smooth ride. The car is plenty peppy and likes to be driven enthusiastically. The Ranchero has a new CD player and bluetooth stereo. All of the gauges work, wipers work, clock works, all lighting works, just jump in and drive! It of course passed state inspection and all of that. Stored indoors. Features:• Great looking, functional classic at a great price. • 302 CID Ford V8 • 4bbl carb with edlebrock intake • 3 speed automatic transmission • Bright gold paint with black sport stripes • Factory power steering • Deluxe AM/FM stereo with CD, AUX, Bluetooth and USB player in the dash • Beautiful Black Dash, Sun Visors and Headliner • New condition black Bucket Seats, carpet and door panels • Rear air shocks to adjust height • Large custom aluminum radiator • Most of everything, pretty great shape aesthetically and mechanically. Hope in and drive today! Defects:• There are a few small paint nicks here and there, see photos on the website. • The transmission lever overshoots reverse gear from park easily because a plastic bushing in the linkage is gone but we have been unable to find a replacement as it does not seem to be in production. You usually have to bump it back to the left again to engage reverse so it is only a a minor annoyance. Other than the above, the car looks amazing, drives well and gets alot of attention. Very fun car to take to the local meet or cruise around town. We have driven the car through town many times and never had any problems. Keep in mind it is 48 years old and not a new car, but it is in good condition considering its age. You can hop in right now and enjoy. If you are looking to get into a classic car without spending a fortune this would be the opportunity for you. We do consider trades in the specialty or classic category. We can also discuss payment terms or options. We are happy to try and make a deal. Feel free to make offers, and if you have any questions please message or call 888-716-5333
