Standing up tall and stripped down low with big punch in the front and a pickup bed in the back. Street rods are so much fun because they are all so unique. This one is a fresh build with an awesome Hemi power plant on display up front for all the world to see. Out back, its doubtful that you will throw firewood in that bed, but it might come in handy for coolers and chairs or maybe even a few trophies. This is a new build with only 400 miles on it since completed. The Copper Metallic paint is near flawless with only the faintest marks in the clear coat from wiping it down. Without fenders or a hood, the tall upright cab is accentuated even more than usual. There is an aggressive rake to the chassis that reinforces the serious intentions of the Hemi engine, and that stance gives the cab a slight forward tilt that looks awesome. A Magnaflow muffler parallels the rake and underlines the cab but can be bypassed for the open header sound in case you want to announce your arrival on the scene a bit ahead of time. The view from directly in front of this truck is sweet with a narrow grill, flanked by big round headlights. Above it is the rectangular windshield capturing the small back window within its frame with chrome wipers and mirrors extending from the top edges of the cab. Open the door and you will find a study in simplicity and minimalism. The beige door panel has a simple pattern embossed in the top and mirrored on the bottom. The two-tone bench seat cant get any more stripped down with the cab acting as the seat back, but the back is nicely trimmed out in beige vinyl and carries the look through to the headliner. The dashboard is a work of art and may contradict the minimalist description a bit. It has a body color top edge with a beautiful dark burled wood panel that holds chrome trimmed Stewart Warner gauges and billet control knobs. An Autometer tach is suspended from the ceiling and a T-handle shifter for the automatic transmission is mounted on the floor. A beefy Grant GT wheel feels good in your hands and the strength of the 4-spoke design may come in handy as you hang onto it when you cut that engine loose. That engine is quite a sight to see, and quite a formidable powerhouse. It is 392 cubic inches of awesome topped by dual Holley 4-barrel carbs that feed the beast. Chromed Chrysler Firepower valve covers seem to cover about the whole engine and those equal length headers can be run through the mufflers to please your neighbors, or electrically uncorked for a trip down the boulevard or down the strip. All that power is sent back through a 3-speed, 727 Torqueflite transmission to the Ford 9 rear end held in place by a four-link suspension and adjustable coil over shocks. Up front, adjustable coil overs working through control arms provide great drivability, and they are equipped with disc brakes too so that you can be sure to get this Rod hauled back down from speed quickly when you decide to let it run. The rubber meets the road through 21560R15 tires in the rear mounted on 5-spoke alloys, and 165/80R15 tires in the front mounted on 10 spoke, wagon wheel style alloys. This car is full of more beautiful details than can be mentioned here. And besides, pictures dont do the gorgeous paint justice. Come on down and check this trick 29 pickup out up close and personal for yourself.

This is the kind of truck that knows the difference between just showing up and being the kind of vehicle everyone remembers. Detailed paintwork, coordinating interior, and supercharged big block power come together in this 1940 Ford pickup to make one terrific unforgettable total package. In 1940, Ford created one of the most stunning pickup designs for the ages. This one celebrates that style by utilizing the full custom build to highlight all the best features on this icon. It starts up front where the bumper has been removed so you can get the full view of that awesome pointed break that was shared with the classic car line. Plus, the red has the kind of candy-coated lusted to really bring out the smooth lines in the hood and cab. The black in this two-tone is just as important. It emphasizes the round fenders up front, where it really draws attention to the teardrop headlights. Everyone loves this Ford for the artfully long rear fenders and these now flow uninterrupted because the taillights are now integrated into the custom roll pan. But the best part here is the element of fire. You see it in the custom red pin striping and the design of the 18-inch Progressive alloy wheels. That monster hood scoop boldly leading the way, you almost expect flames to shoot out of the dual exhaust. Inside, the custom black and red theme continues on the cool striped bench seat and door panels. So you know people are going to marvel at the interior. And when they do, theyll also love items like the billet handles and bright dash. Additionally, everyone will marvel as you use the air ride controls to lower this one in the parking lots. But more than just a looker, you can tell this was meant to be driven. Thats why you have a three-spoke sports steering wheel, Lokar shifter, and a full set of AutoMeter gauges. In fact, have you spotted the large tach with shift light and the blower readout? Oh yeah, this is one serious machine. You know two things the moment you pop the hood. First, you can see there was plenty spent on a bright and clean presentation. Second, you know they couldnt possibly put any more muscle in the engine bay thats why the big butterfly scoop has to raise out of the hood. For most people a 454 cubic-inch big block V8 is plenty of power, but not something as wild as this one. Thats why there are dual Edelbrock four-barrel carbs sitting on top of that big B&M blower. Youll love the intoxicating mix of thunderous big block rumble combined with the whoosh of the blower force-feeding that V8. This is a serious street machine, and thats why you have a stout TH400 three-speed automatic and a custom frame to handle all the extra power and torque from this monster motor. Plus, the front suspension was upgraded to a robust Mustang II-style setup and front disc brakes. In the rear, you have a strong set of ladder bars keeping the rubber on the road. We know youve been totaling up what it would take to get the paint, interior, and big power motor like this one here. You know the asking price is far less than you could have it built from scratch. Best of all, this is a dream machine thats turnkey ready today for the first person to grab it. Call now!

When you demand the best of everything, then youre ready for this 1940 Ford pickup. Every inch of the custom built was crafted to be a fully coordinated package, including the powerful V8. And more than just award-worthy, this one has all the best comfort amenities, including A/C and an overdrive transmission. So this is the one classic that leaves you wanting for nothing. Just looking down the bright, shiny flanks of this Ford, you can see that the money was spent wisely. Its the product of a restoration where quality was always chosen over cost (just look at the undercarriage photos!) And because theres less than 740 miles on this Ford since completion, its like getting it fresh from the restoration shop. In fact, the sheetmetal is more than three-quarters of a century old, but it looks like it rolled out of Henry Fords factory yesterday. But theres a lot more that really tells you how thoughtful the build was. For example, the paint has that perfect pastel tone to look period-correct. But its actually borrowed from a more modern palette, which gives it an amazing gloss and luster. So just like nostalgia, this is shines brighter than it ever could from the factory. And we know you love the way the classic whitewalls look on the color-matched vintage wheels, but this also need to be a great cruiser. So fiberglass fenders were added to give you the classic look with still getting modern and wider rubber. And the more time you spend with this, the more you see all the great details. Like how the tune signals were integrated into the side mirrors; the glossy wood in the bed has a hidden compartment for the gas tank filler; and you get an unobstructed view of the artful front end thanks to an expertly deleted front bumper. Yes, they really took the time to get this one to an award-worthy level. Inside the sea of green continues. They really took the time to restore this one nicely, and the longer you look at it, the more impressive it gets. For example, not only does the bench seat look exceptionally fresh, but it has the right modern bolstering for all-day comfort. And we love how the texture of the inserts is continued on the custom door panels. Your left hand goes on the banjo-style steering wheel with glossy wood surround, and your right hand may never want to leave the tall gear stick. And while the gauges look original, you might remember that these Fords never originally needed a 140 mph speedometer and never had a tachometer. Some upgrades like the R134a air conditioning are easy to spot, but other like the power windows (disguised as manual cranks) are a bit more difficult. The total package makes for a very comfortable custom pickup that never betrays its vintage atmosphere. The engine bay is just as impressive as the interior and exterior. A ton was invested so that all you see within those smooth walls see are polished pieces and color-matched components. In fact, painting the block the same exterior minty green shows the level of total dedication to this project. And in a total package classic like this, style also comes with substance. Youre looking at a 327 cubic-inch V8 with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and a terrific-sounding dual exhaust. And we mentioned earlier about taking a look at the undercarriage, and thats because this one has an upgrade to a TCI chassis. Not only does that make the truck feel solid on the road, but also the upgraded Mustang II-style independent front suspension and front disc brakes keep this one truly a modern cruiser. You even have a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive. So this is the kind of vintage truck thats as easy to drive to the show as it is to take on the morning commute. A classic like this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. After all, few people have the time, patience, and budget to create something so thoroughly awesome. And this is your opportunity to skip the headache and go straight to the rewards. Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this sharp 1940 Ford Pickup. This sharp truck has many sought after 40 s features that are getting harder and harder to find. Being powered by the famous Ford 221 Flathead V8 engine, paired to the date correct 3 on the tree manual transmission, and equipped with a Columbia Overdrive rear end this truck really drives like it would have back in the 40 s. When you hear this flathead engine fire up with its duel exhaust, you wouldn t believe that it only rated at 100HP! The whole drivetrain has been completely rebuilt during its restoration in 1990. Over the last 20 plus years this truck has only had about 3,600 miles put on it and belonged to the same family. When first seeing this beautiful truck, the paint shine really stands out. This truck is painted two toned in Garnet Maroon with black fenders and red pin striping to tie it all together. The black bed cover is new and hides the light tan wooden bed that is in great condition. The style of this truck really comes from the 5th spare tire and rim that is mounted on the passenger side of the truck. When you hop inside of this truck you instantly notice the Saddle tan leather interior. This Saddle color has also been added to the headliner. This truck has been very well upkept and some would think that the restoration was recently competed. If you are looking for a piece of Ford history than this would be the truck to add to the collection. Perfect if you want something to cruise in or even take to be shown off in local car shows. Do not let this 1940 Ford pickup pass you by! To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1940 Ford Pickup, please visit GatewayClassicCars.com. This 1938 Ford pick up truck is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 38 ford is one of most iconic vehicles with its limited 2-year design run. The oval shape grill is certainly the trucks most recognizable design and what really makes these trucks so popular. This very original example has had quite a bit of mechanical work done with in the past year. The flathead engine was rebuilt along with the 3-speed manual transmission. The rear end was gone thru with a set of 378 gears installed as well. With a new fuel tank installed the Holley carb was installed giving the flathead a new lease on life. Converted over to a 12-volt system this 38 pick-up is ready for todays modern world. With the truck running again stopping it is kind of important so all the braking system was gone through and now stops just as it should. If you have been looking for a truck that has not anybody or major mechanical pieces upgraded this 38 Ford would be a great truck, Options on this 1938 Ford pickup include vinyl interior, and bias ply tires with steel wheels. This custom 1946 Ford pickup is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. 1946 was a great year for the auto industry in general. The war was won, and the factories had returned to what they do best, manufacturing automobiles. With 46 being the first year for post war cars they are extremely popular with collectors and enthusiast in general. This one-off custom-built red rocket is sure to garner attention where ever it goes. The bright red paint is slick and shows extremely well. The soft tonneau covers the bed giving it a sportier look. The front end looks menacing as it is coming down the road with the chrome grill almost looking like teeth as they pronounce the front end. Under the hood is where this 46 is sure to get your blood pumping. The 302 small block looks right at home and is one of the very few street rods to stay true to its roots. The high-rise intake is not only impressive looking but increases horsepower output as well. The Mallory ignition setup gives the small block just the right amount of spark while the edelbrock carb feeds it all the gas it can handle. Start it up and that little small block has a pretty radical grow. The C6 transmission is putting power to a Ford 9-inch rear end which is one of the most reliable set ups. The interior of the truck is clean and simple with the white auto meter gauges really giving a huge contrast to the red. The Hurst shifter has been raised up making it much easier to use. The black door inserts are clean and really finish the interior off nicely. If you have been wanting to get your hands on a street rod that has stayed true to its namesake this all Ford 46 custom pickup is one of the few.Options on this 1946 Ford Pickup for sale include; Seat Belts, Tilt Steering Wheel, Cloth Interior, Polished Aluminum Wheels with Radial Tires. 1946 Ford Pickup for sale is in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail, including an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
