The wow factor begins at the top, which has been chopped 3 inches. To accommodate the chop, the windshield is leaned back and custom glass has been made for the rear and side windows. The remainder of the body is equally sleek, with shaved door handles and emblems, custom-fitted ground effects, a filled and smoothed firewall and custom-made inner fenders. The slick body is covered in a striking two-tone paint scheme using PPG s Concept paint in black and Torch Red hues. A matching Torch Red finish covers the car s filled and smoothed frame, which has received as much attention as the body. The rear suspension consists of a 9-inch rear end accompanied by Hotchkis control arms and Bell Tech coil springs. Hotchkis tubular upper control arms are found up front, along with modified lower control arms, Bell Tech dropped spindles and coil springs, plus urethane bushings, air ride at all four corners, 12-inch Wilwood disc brakes all around, as are the black chrome wheels. A car this wild needs a standout powerplant, so a 502-inch crate motor with a Polished Street Performance TPI setup fills the space under the hood. It s also painted Torch Red, and features a host of polished aluminum accessories. The Engine is fed from a custom Rock Valley fuel tank, and cooled with a Griffin radiator. A Richmond six-speed directs power to the rear end with the help of a Centerforce clutch and Long shifter. While 50 s customs typically had cabins filled with tuck-and-roll Naugahyde, this G-body features contemporary trimmings stitched in red leather by Specialized Auto Interiors. Passengers sit on four modified Corvette seats that flank a full-length custom console. All control knobs (headlights, power windows, air conditioning, etc.) generally found on the dash or doors are now hidden either in the console or behind a black panel on the dash. A custom gauge panel houses the Auto Meter Ultra-Lite instruments, while an early 70 s GM wheel helps steer the Monte. Vintage Air climate controls (fitted behind the dash) keep everything cool.... The early 1960 s were a great decade for automobiles. Most car manufacturers were beginning to mass produce very reliable vehicles and compete more directly with each other. Amongst these vehicles was this 1962 Ford Fairlane. This Ford s body design was made so that it was roughly 16in longer than the Ford Falcon and about 12 inches shorter than the Galaxie. This was to bridge the gap between the Falcon and Galaxie, and also to compete for GM s A Body Senior Compacts. This Ford Fairlane has a 221 V8 engine, and this engine was brand new for Ford in 1962. It was designed using thin wall casting which made it 90lb lighter than the small block Chevy engines. This Fairlane also has an Automatic Transmission, which allows for easy driving, and a smooth ride. It has had a nut and bolt restoration and looks as good as it did coming off the assembly line. With very low mileage, only 30,585. It has a very reasonable price of $23,988 and considering the condition of the vehicle and how well it runs, it would be an excellent investment. Not to mention the enjoyment you would receive from driving this piece of Ford s history!... Read more

In the 1950 s the automobile industry was getting to be extraordinarily competitive, and because of this car manufacturing companies needed to up their game. Ford was looking to grab the attention of people and be unique enough that journalists would write writeups to lure the people to their vehicles. With the 1954 Ford Skyliner they did just that. It was based on the two-door hardtop Crest model from before, and then Ford went one step further. They added a tinted glass top to give a more open air type of feeling. It was big for Ford solely because this was the first model to hold a glass roof which was mass produced in cars that were affordable for people. In 1954 only 13,144 models were built, and they became a very hot vehicle due to the uniqueness and limited amount. This particular 1954 Ford Skyliner is one of those 13,144. On top of being one of the limited amounts, it is 100% entirely original. This Ford is powered by the Y block 239 V8 engine, and it has a 3 Speed Manual transmission. It is a Sandstone White, with a White and Green interior. It also has the Tinted Green glass top! Like stated before, nothing on the inside has been altered, and it remains an original survivor making it all the more unique, being there were only that 13,144 produced. On a side note, a neat fact about this vehicle is that it came from Casino magnate Bill Harrahs museum collection in Las Vegas, Nevada. This 1954 Ford Skyliner has 80,007 original miles. Best of all is that you can on this gorgeous, rare, stylish piece of history for a total of $44,998!... Read more

In the years immediately following the Second World War, Chevrolet used much of its prewar tooling in its model range, including the Fleetmaster line. Options and amenities increased, but the well-designed Chevrolets were mostly unchanged during the late 1940s as business boomed with a car-starved American public. According to period records, this model was powered by a 90 horsepower 216.5 cubic inch Thriftmaster straight-six. The transmission is a column-shift three-speed manual. Chevy offered several body styles, including a coupe, town sedan, convertible and two-door fastback sedan. Commercial vehicles built on this passenger car chassis were popular then and now, but rarely seen today. The utility vehicle has been an important part of motoring s history. Whether it is a large truck for heavy transport and lifting or a small pickup truck the truck platform was the machine that was utilized by service professionals to repair your home s appliances in the period. Maintenance specialists would make their welcome housecalls many times in the Sedan Delivery they offered spaciousness for tools and parts, plus they had car-like qualities that made the time on the road all the more comfortable and productive. This nice 1948 example is the uncommon Stylemaster Sedan Delivery, a large, panel-sided wagon with a large single rear door at the back of its Fisher-built body. Finished in black, and Ernest Machine Products Co. lettering, it is dressed with chrome hubcaps, trim rings, and wide whitewall tires. Although designed as a work vehicle, the importance of styling was still paramount in this period, and Chevrolet offered up long and graceful sweeping front fenders that pushed the car towards the styling that the 1950s would bring while retaining the bulbous and efficient rear cabin. This example is reported to have the original interior and looking at the pictures it would be hard to believe it is not. It s finished in gleaming black, and the paint is very nicely presented. There is no shortage of chrome styling elements on this platform, and it sparkles as when new. The front end displays enough of these touches that many period cars would likely be put to shame. The two factory seats are black and, as a delivery vehicle, there is nothing behind them except for a cavernous and endlessly usable storage area that has original wood on the floor, panel walls, and a defined headliner. The dashboard is well-detailed to go along with the high overall presence. Whether it is used as a different alternative to touring with plenty of room or rolling into a local car show, the Sedan Delivery almost always generates many stories that are recalled from past experiences and the vehicle s novelty of design. Many businesses have been represented on the sides of the sedan delivery body type in the era of this vehicle.... Read more

1955 was a HUGE year for Chrysler as they had manufactured the first 300H/P vehicle in America. It was debated to be the first high-performance automobile available to the public. Chrysler wanted to take a different approach and out-perform other car companies of the time. One of the ways in which they did this, was by changing Chrysler s engine. They used a 331.1 Cubic Inch Hemi V8 engine (used in successful early 50 s race cars) with Two Four Barrel Carburetors, a Competition Cam Shift, and last but certainly not least Solid Valve Lifters. Chrysler wanted to create an unyielding and powerful motor, and they succeeded. This engine out-performed the Corvette s, Thunderbird s, and Cadillac s V8 engines. Wow! This particular 1955 Chrysler C-300 is as nice as they come. The paint colors for this 1950 Chrysler 300 were very simple. They only came in the colors red, white, and black, and this particular model is White with a Naugahyde Tan interior. These vehicles made history in 1955 winning their first NASCAR Grand National Race. They sold 1,725 models that year, and this vintage piece of history could be yours for $79,888!... Read more

Originally purchased on June 27, 1949, this 1949 Ford Sedan is nonetheless a piece of history. It was originally bought by a woman named Marjorie Tilley, and the only purposes for this car were to get to the grocery store and church. We possess the bill of purchase for proof! Whenever she passed away, she left the car in her will to the people who cared for her when she was ill. Miss Tilley only put 13,610 miles on it from the time she purchased it until the owners switched. It had to be repainted because Miss Tilley would cover it in the winter with wool blankets, and whenever it would get damp, wool fibers would damage the paint. The only other modification made was that carpet was installed by the second owners Mr. and Mrs. Charles Yarletts. As for the rest of the interior, it has never been touched and remains completely original. This 1949 Ford has an H-6 Cylinder engine, and a 3 Speed Manual Transmission. It is a Birch Gray with a Gray interior to accompany it. Since Miss Tilley passed away ONLY 242 miles, have been put on it making that a total of 13,852 miles on this Ford. The second owners took great care of this vehicle as did the third owner when bought in the 90 s. You could be the owner of this pristine 1949 Ford Sedan for only $29,998!... Read more

Founded in 1909 and getting its name from the owner of a Detroit apartment store, Hudson did everything they could to ensure the class and quality of their automobiles throughout the 1930 s. A fantastic example of the class and quality would be this 1934 Hudson Terraplane. At the time this car was very fast, reaching a 0-60 speed in 15 seconds. In high gear, 0-30mph would be 18seconds, with a top speed of 80mph. That was all thanks to the V8 engine installed and the Manual Transmission. This vehicle was very economical getting 25 mpg and very lightweight as well weighing 2800lb, which compared to other cars of that period, the Terraplane was like a feather. Due to the ratio of speed, weight, and gas, it accounted for a rough 75% of Hudson s sales from 1934-36. This particular Terraplane is a relic of the past being 83 years old and 100% original!! It has museum quality, and there are not very many cars you come by that are that old, and have never been touched. The exterior is all Black with a Tan fabric interior. The best part is that it still runs very well, and over the course of 83 years, only 36,121 miles have been placed on it. Incredible! Noted as one of the best cars of the 1930 s and leading the company in sales, it could be yours for a total of 49,998. Considering the age, originality, and quality that this 1934 Hudson Terraplane possesses, it is nothing short of an excellent price in return for a breathtaking piece of automobile history!...
