You could build a car like this, but it wouldnt be easy. It would require not only lots of time and money, but the expertise of a team of professionals to bring it all together into a complete package that works the way it was intended. There are some individuals out there that can do it all themselves, but for the rest of us mortals, you can just buy this car and reap the benefits of the team that Musclecar TV brought together to build this Business Time! project during season 7. Check it out. Lets start by describing the body and look of this car. It definitely stands out in a crowd with that Green paint! Alternately called Loud Green or Intoxicating Green, it grabs your attention. The hood is painted flat black with Hemi shining through announcing what is underneath it. The car has been lowered down and has a bit of rake to the chassis which, along with those massive tires in the back, gives it a sinister stance. A blacked-out grill has a bright green pinstripe through the middle and there is a custom front bumper with stamped and dimpled holes. From the rear, you gotta know that the chassis has been tubbed in order to fit those tires under there. The lights on this car subscribe to the minimalist philosophy with the turn signals and brake lights deleted, although the running lights all work. When you open the door and scope out the interior, there is little doubt that this cars project name is appropriate. Its all about business. The first thing you notice is a lightweight door panel and the 10-point roll cage with a swing out bar for easy entry and exit. Have a seat in the custom bucket seats outfitted with RCI racing harnesses and get yourself settled in. Make sure you can reach the Painless Wiring switch panel with clearly labeled rocker switches, and the TCI outlaw pistol grip shifter for the trans while you are strapped in for business, and then take a hold of the Grant GT steering wheel. In front of you is a full complement of Summit, back lit gauges to help you keep track of fuel level, oil pressure, water temp, voltage and (spoiler alert), boost. There is a programable racing tach with shift light mounted to the roll cage where you cant miss it, even under pressure. Now to the incredible engine they built that makes this Mopar a brute on the street, as well as the chassis mods that make it a contender on the track. Be sure to ask your salesperson about the build sheet for this car for more complete details. A late model Hemi block was bored and stroked to 426 cubic inches, topped with Thitek G III custom cylinder heads, then pressurized by an Edelbrock E-Force supercharger. Comp Cams supplied a custom ground billet roller camshaft, and Harland billet rocker arms transfer the lift the valves. The best equipment from Wiseco, ARP, Melling and Milodon assure a strong, well lubed bottom end and a Holley Dominator fuel pump with HP regulator feeds DeatschWerks fuel injectors. Its pumping out about 900 HP!! That power flows back through a TCI 4L80E 6X overdrive trans to a Moser engineering Dana 60 with 4.56 gears and a True Trac, 35 spline posi. An S&W Race Cars 4-link rear suspension gets the power to the ground through 33X18.5-15 street legal slicks mounted on Weld Racing wheels. Up front, theres a Reilly Motorsports AlterKtion Coil over setup handling things and Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes assure that you can haul this ride back down from speed. Well built by the guys on Musclecar TV and the team of pros that back them up. Just waiting to be well driven by you.
We are pleased to present this 1974 Dodge Dart Swinger. We believe this has the original 318 V8 and 3 speed Torqueflite automatic transmission. It has all the factory goodies such as A/C, power brakes with power front discs. Most engine auxiliary parts have been rebuilt or replaced in the last few years such as A/C components, water pump, hoses, belts etc. The original radiator has been replaced with an aluminum one with an electric fan. Aftermarket dual flow Magna Flow mufflers, Torque-Thrust style wheels and a Kenwood AM/FM CD player completes the modernization of the vehicle. This recently repainted car has been a reliable daily driver for the last 5 years and can easily remain so. Or with a little TLC can be made something more. This vehicle qualifies for an optional 90 day ASC drivetrain warranty. We can arrange shipping to your location. If you have any questions, please call or text Savannah Classic Cars at 912-235-2347.
This low mileage 1974 Dodge Dart Swinger is highly original right down to the numbers-matching V8. But they still made the right investments in quality, like with the newer paint and R134a A/C interior. The result is a hardtop classic that delivers the vintage feeling but with true cruiser style. This Dart was already born a deep shade of Lucerne Blue, but what really makes it look extra bright today is the investment in a modern clearcoat respray later in life. Its not so electric to take away the vintage feeling, but it certainly gives it a great glow of nostalgia every time the sunlight hits it. And more than just the paint, this one really get the classic attitude right. It has averaged less than 1,200 miles annually, which demonstrates a well-respected life. So the sheetmetal is exceptionally straight, and elements like the full-length body crease and sharply-pointed front end remain crisp. The black vinyl roof was also updated later in life. Its a great way to not only highlight the pillarless hardtop profile, but it also goes particularly nice with the black steel wheels and cool factory dog dish hubcaps. Inside the sea of blue continues. Everything looks highly original, so its believed to be a survivor-grade setup, right down to the artful texture of cloth seat inserts. Theres more evidence of the well-respected life with the level of detail on this classic. Its everywhere from the premium wood-like accents, to working dome light, to the AM radio that still powers up. While these were smaller cars by 1970s standards, today they feel quite spacious to accommodate family and friends. Plus, the factory air conditioning has been converted to R134a to keep everyone comfortably cool. But even when its just you going for a drive, the split front bench has a fold-down armrest to make it feel like youre in a high-back bucket seat. So youll love cruising this hardtop ant any time, no matter how many come along for the ride. Under the hood, you can tell there has been plenty more invested in this Dart. The clean and tidy engine bay shows off the original numbers-matching 318 cubic-inch V8. Theyve made some nice upgrades in power with and Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and intake. This also adds to a nice tune out of the H-pipe dual exhaust. Plus, power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and front disc brakes are great features you want for a classic like this. The solid feeling it has on the road reminds you of the solid investment in this coupe. Complete with restoration photos, this is the distinct classic Mopar with the right originality and the right upgrades. So its great to have a total package classic like this offered for such an obtainable price. Call now!

1972 Dodge Dart Swinger Powered by a Slant Six with column auto transmission. All original Interior/Exterior with factor Air.
Heres a very cool and well-coordinated survivor of a car you dont see too often. Thats why we bet youre as surprised as we are about how affordable this 1974 Dodge Dart Swinger is. The Eggshell White paint is believed to be mostly original, and while its not perfect, it has a level of crispness that will amaze many people. After all, theres nothing better than telling admirers that something this shiny was applied by the St. Louis factory 44 years ago. And there will be plenty of people wanting to know more about this coupe. After all, the bright bumpers, factory wheel covers, and complete trim package look like you spent a ton on a restoration. Plus, the distinct green vinyl top with matching green pinstripe is pure 70s premium. So jaws will drop as you tell everyone that this total package is part of a factory survivor. The pillarless hardtop not only looks cool, but it also gives plenty of access to see the interior. Thats a good thing because the green accents on the outside are matched by the full green interior, so this is one impressive coordinating total package. And because the 24,157 miles on the odometer are believed to be original (per the consignor), this original interior has had little time for any wear. Not only is this Dart a survivor, but it was also a premium level car right from the factory. So you get wood-like trim on the door panels, dash, and factory steering wheel. Plus, the AM radio is still cranking out tunes, and theres even provisions for factory air conditioning. Under the hood is a very honest 225 cubic-inch slant-six motor. Sure, you could drop a Hemi crate motor in with all the money you save. But honestly, it would be a shame because this ultra-tidy presentation has been given investments to keep it looking all original. And its this total package that makes this such a fantastic survivor. Plus, its a reliable Mopar powerplant designed to move around the compact Dart with ease. And when you add in the three-speed automatic transmission and power steering, this is already a fine cruising machine. The sale comes with the owners manual and broadcast sheet (so you can show how this terrific color package is original to the car.) We dont get to see Dart Swingers too often anymore, and this one is already amazing for its level of originality and distinctiveness. So at this price, we know this Mopar wont be with us long. Our Atlanta Showroom is proud to offer this 1966 Dodge Dart for sale. This 4 barrel 273ci V8 is mated to an automatic transmission. It has been upgraded to factory Dodge disc brakes an has the factory GT emblems. The 1966 Dart remained largely the same as the 1965 models with the same engine and transmission lineup. There was a special 273 offered, however, in the D/Dart, a special drag racing edition. Also, the ball and trunion front joint was replaced with a more common U-joint and the 904 transmissions were now shifted with linkages instead of cables. The only change to the suspension was an optional, small front sway bar. An effective facelift with more squared-off lines, a new rectangular grille, and rectangular headlight bezels was introduced. The intention of the facelift was to better mimic the new Charger. The special drag racing D/Dart was classed in the D/Stock class and featured a 273 with larger Holley carb, headers, hotter cam, and manual choke. It was only offered on two-door GT models. Options include: After Market AC, AM radio, Seat Belts, radial Tires, rally wheels. The only thing it is missing is you in the driver s seat! To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1965 Dodge Dart GT. The Dart was released in 1960 as a replacement to the Plymouth in the standard, low priced car segment which was growing rapidly at this time. They were an instant success and represented 87% of all Dodge sales for that year. 1962 was a short-lived run of the second-generation Dart with many saying that they were more of an intermediate car than the entry level bang for your buck first generations. 1963 to 1966 would see the 3rd generation which was closer to the highly successful first gen s. This 1965 is a great example of why so many bought these cars. Their smaller stature allowed for a slant 6 to give the car plenty of power and intrigued many buyers. The 225 slant 6 was the best of the bunch and has become one of the most popular six-cylinder engines to ever leave Detroit. This numbers matching example was gone through about 10 years ago but has only seen about 1200 miles since the work was done. The 3-speed automatic transmission shifts out nicely while being controlled through a console mounted gear selector giving the car a very sporty look. The optional 14-inch wheels had to be used on these disc brake cars for caliper clearance but look a lot better as well. The paint on the car is in good condition and shows nicely with the chrome accents helping to give the car a higher end look. The black interior with bucket seats is in very good condition and rather comfortable for a 65. If you have been thinking about getting into a mid-60 s MOPAR but don t want to the break bank while doing it this 65 Dart GT is a great way to achieve just that. Options on this 1965 Doidge Dart GT include, AM Radio, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, and Radial Tires. This 1965 Dodge Dart GT is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1968 dodge Dart. This bad to the bone Dart is both show and go! The meticulous restoration was a no expense spared job that included a lot of high performance goodies. Power comes from a built 451 based from a 400 block that features aluminum main caps, Veolia Pistons, Bill Mille aluminum rods, 3.375 billet crank and roller cam and lifters. The cylinder heads are aluminum Indy 440 1 cylinder heads as well as an Indy aluminum intake manifold and a CNC ported valley pan. Its equipped with a Milidon oiling system, Milidon oil pan, custom push rods, K Motion valve springs, Stainless steel valves with lockers and retainers, Mopar performance aluminum water pump and a Holley 1050 Dominator carburetor. Exhaust and the menacing sounds that emit from this power house come out of custom headers, exhaust and Borla mufflers. This power needs something just as stout to transfer the power back to the rear wheels. Accomplishing that is a TCI Power Glide transmission, TCI torque converter, Jerry Bickel Chromoly drive shaft with billet trans and rear end yokes, Strange 9 inch with 40 spline spool, 4.56:1 gears and Strange 40 spline axles. Putting the power to ground is no easy task. Accomplishing this feat are Strange double adjustable rear shocks, Chassis Works ladder bar, Strange struts, Strange Rack and Pinion steering and 19.5 Mickey Thompsons wrapped around Weld Racing Aluma Star wheels. Up front are 26x5 Good Years also wrapped around Weld Racing Aluma Stars. Slowing things down is drama free thanks to a set of Strange four wheel disc brakes, Strange master cylinder and steel braided brake lines. Safety is one thing that shouldnt be taken for granted and certainly not missed. This one is ready to hold you in place and keep you safe. Doing so is a custom 12 point roll cage and Stroud 5 point racing belts. Other notable build details include a Hurst roll control line lock, Hurst Quarter Stick shifter, Griffin radiator, Barry Grant fuel system (400 pump & 4 port regulator), Painless wiring harness, Jazz 15 gallon fuel cell and of course beautiful workmanship that shows through and through. Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this stunning 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger. As 2nd tier muscle cars, many have forgotten its sleek styling, awesome performance and unique appeal. Restored clean Darts are a bit hard to find but this one is sure to impress as it is fully equipped and built to exquisite detail. This show winning Sherwood Green example is simply beautiful! Originally sold from Dadeland Dodge in Miami Florida this car has real history and plenty of purchase and service documents to back it up. In 2006 this Dart Swinger underwent a meticulous full frame off rotisserie restoration using all the original sheet metal and as much of the original parts as possible. Keeping to its original design style and flavor the vehicle was appropriately upgraded to a 360 V8 with all new hardware. A driving show winner example was the goal and its execution of the project was, as you can see, phenomenal! This 1962 Dodge Max Wedge Tribute is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 62 Line up for Dodge had there own defined look making them highly collectible today. Not to mention the big and powerful engine you could get in on of these intermediate size cars. In 1962 the now infamous Wedge cars were released and put everyone on notice. With there 413 CI engine and massive cross ram intakes they were literally taking the strips by storm. This example is sure to bring you back to those magical days when Dodge pretty much owned the drag strips. Start with the black paint which is slick while showing off those one of a kind lines. The multiple coats of clear laid on top gives it not only a mirror finish but almost a 3D look. Let s get down to why you really want this beast of a car. Pop the hood and an ultra- rare 413 Ramcharger lies cradled between the frame rails. The crossram intake is correct and not a cheap part by any means but gives it that I mean business look while gaining a good bit of power. Matched up to a 727 HD torque flite this thing is ready for the street or strip. Open the door and period correct interior is comfortable while looking nice. Yet still the best and coolest thing about this car has to be the push button trans making it as simple as pressing D and slamming the gas. Just make sure your holding on because if this monster hooks up you will be in for a ride you will soon not forget. Options on this 1962 Dodge Dart 413 Cross Ram car include Radio Delete, Cloth/Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, and Radial Tires. Gateway Classic Cars now has a very special and beautiful 1968 Dodge Dart GTS Convertible available in Houston! This one is powered by a numbers matching 340 CID V8 engine that goes through a factory TorqueFlite transmission. This engine has only covered less than 500 miles since the car was restored in 2013. Exterior is finished in a red with black top combination. Features include an AM radio, automatic convertible top, hub caps, power brakes, power steering, jack, seat belts, vinyl interior and radial tires. This is part of the fourth generation of Dodge Dart vehicles produced between 1967 and 1976. The Dart was substantially redesigned for the 1967 model year. It received new styling, revised steering systems, wider front track and frame rail spacing. Redesigned K-members were added to accept the larger engines that Dodge had in mind for the car. In 1967 you would also notice the rear window with inverse curves, creating a new and unique appearance at the rear of a greenhouse, but designed to collect snow! The 170 CID I6 was dubbed simply Dart , with the 270 and GT carrying on mostly unchanged. In late 1967 the GTS came out in limited quantities due to it s lateness, but the 1968 was arguably improved anyway, by fitting the new high-output 340 CID V8! That is the car that you are looking at here. The first of the 340 GTS cars. Aside from the engine, changes for 1968 were relatively subtle. The park and turn lights in the grille were moved slightly inboard and made round. Side marker lights were added to the front fenders and rear quarter panels, to comply with newly introduced Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108. Shoulder harnesses (separate, this year and until 1973, from the lap belts) and non-glare matte finish on the windshield wiper arms were also part of the 1968 federally mandated safety package. This is a hard to find vehicle and a perfect addition to the garage. Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this gorgeous 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger for sale in our Detroit Showroom. The Dodge Dart Swinger, introduced in 1969, was Dodge s new compact muscle car. The largest engine option available for these cars was the 340CID V8; however, this Dart Swinger has been fitted with a much more powerful 416CID stroker motor. This engine is mean! The aggressive and powerful 416CID V8 is backed by a bulletproof 3-speed 727 automatic transmission and a 3.91 rear differential. The combination of all this performance and the lightweight A-body frame makes for a fast and fun muscle car that makes more than 300hp at the wheels! Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger. The 1970 Darts dual tail lamps were given over to the badge-engineered Plymouth Valiant Scamp, while the 1971 Dart received new smaller quad tail lamps that would be used through 1973. The Custom 2-door hardtop coupe became the Swinger, and the standard Swinger became the Swinger Special. The drive train consists of a 300 HP 360 Magnum crate engine from Mopar Performance and has 1500 miles since new and a 904 automatic transmission that was rebuilt with performance components including a street performance torque converter 1500 miles ago. The rear end has an Eaton truetrac clutchless differential and 3.23 gears on a 489 8 3/4 carrier all with less than 250 miles since new. With so much power it is stopped by the 4-wheel disc brake with aluminum wheels wrapped in radial tires. It was repainted in 2008 to white and still has the original vinyl top. The interior is the original black vinyl. The mileage on the odometer is correct as the car spent approximately 30 years in a private collectors showroom. Anyone can tell that the upholstery is original and perfect. The new AC was done in 2018 with a relay box. Vertical seat belts help go with the time period. It would be an amazing daily driver or show car. Options on this 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger include: Air Conditioning, AM Radio, Newly installed inertial Seat Belts, Power Steering and Radial Tires. Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is excited to offer this sharp 1974 Dodge Dart Swinger. This car has its original numbers matching engine, transmission, rear end and gearing. The Dodge Dart is an automobile originally built by Dodge from 1960 to 1976 in North America, with production extended to later years in various other markets. The Dart name originally appeared on a 1957 show car featuring a body designed by the Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Ghia. The production Dart was introduced as a lower-priced, shorter wheelbase, full-size Dodge in 1960 and 1961, became a mid-size car for 1962, and finally was a compact from 1963 to 1976. In 1974, the US federal 5 mph bumper impact standards were expanded to cover rear bumpers as well as front ones, and as a result the Swinger and Dart sedans rear bumpers grew much more massive. Taillights larger than the previous years items were set above the rear bumper, rather than within it. Shoulder and lap belts were finally combined in all Chrysler products into a retractable, inertia-sensitive, single-buckle design Chrysler called Unibelt, replacing the difficult-to-use separate lap and shoulder belts that had been installed through 1973. The Arab oil embargo of 1973, increased sales of smaller cars in the U.S. Dodge introduced the Dart SE (Special Edition) in mid-1974 as a four-door sedan and two-door hardtop. The SE included velour high back bucket seats with folding armrest, carpeted door panels, woodgrain instrument panel and deluxe wheel covers along with a TorqueFlite automatic transmission as standard equipment. The SE came equipped with the Quiet Car package introduced in 1973. The air conditioning system available on all Darts had increased capacity, quicker cooldown and lower minimum temperatures. An evaporator pressure regulator valve, long used on larger Chrysler products, varied the compressors capacity without cycling the clutch. The Dart Sport 340 was replaced by the Dart Sport 360 245 Bhp. as the 360 cu in (5.9 L) V8 engine replaced the 340 cu in (5.6 L) engine discontinued after 1973. This 360 V8 engine has about 115k actual miles and still runs and drives top notch. Painted in a dark orange with black hood scoops and rear stripe, this car is a true head turner. The black vinyl interior is in great condition along with the dash and headliner. Options on this Dart include; A/C, AM radio with upgraded speakers, power brakes and steering, vinyl interior, Weld Racing wheels, and radial tires.
