Black exterior, Black/Tan interior. 5.7L LS1 V8 engine, 6 speed T56 manual transmission, Power brakes, Power steering, Fuel injection, Great driver. This Monte Carlo is loaded out with all kinds of new factory and aftermarket parts. The power plant is a late model LS1 fuel injected engine with a Futral Motorsports F14 cam, 799 heads, double valve springs, LS7 lifters, ported throttle body, LS6 intake, and Headman ceramic coated long tube headers. This engine runs strong while still remaining great fuel economy and street manners. The real fun is the 6 speed manual transmission. It features upgraded shift forks, new LS7 clutch, and B&M shifter. A custom aluminum driveshaft connects to the rearend with an Auburn posi differential and 3.42:1 gears. The American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels look great and are wrapped in Nitto 555R tires. Inside the wheels are giant 14 Wilwood rotors and 6 piston calipers. Underneath this Monte Carlo is almost the entire UMI Suspension catalog. Tubular upper and lower control arms, 1.25 front sway bar, 2 lowering springs, Bilstien shocks, boxed rear upper and lower control arms, and more. This 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo is one impressive luxury coupe. It offers a built 454, plenty of luxury features, an upgraded suspension, and a period-perfect color combination, making it a fantastic example of Chevys best in 1970. Code 45 Green Mist is this cars original color, and thats what its wearing today, albeit with a few upgrades. It was refinished a few years ago, including the gray SS stripes that arent stock but sure look right on the big coupe. Today it shows very little wear, and if you want a dazzling Monte that will have people wondering why it looks so darned good, this is your car. It isnt a show car, but at the same time, it sure attracts a ton of attention when its out in the open. Of course, as a car that spent its life someplace warm, the body panels were already in great condition, needing little more than a block sanding to get them flat and smooth before the paint went on. The cowl tag says it had a vinyl top, but thats long gone, and it neatly disguises the fact that this really is a rather large car. All the chrome, including the grille and emblems, is in excellent condition, and even the bright SS454 rocker panel moldings show very little road rash. The green vinyl is a rare find with bucket seats and a console in a non-SS model. Its a big upgrade over the standard bench and perfectly suits the Monte Carlos luxury/performance mission. The interior is virtually new and the seats show very little wear and no damage, the carpets are so nice that I have to believe theyve been replaced at some point. The burled walnut dash appliques are upscale and the round gauges look sporty and are in good original condition with bright letters and pointers, and a set of auxiliary dials hang under the dash. The Grant wood-rimmed wheel looks fantastic in the upscale interior and its loaded with options like a tilt wheel, rear defroster, and power windows. The back seat has plenty of room for three across seating and the massive trunk is clean and tidy, complete with a new mat that looks right. Under that ultra-long hood a Matt Bishop built 454 cubic inch V8. Theres a big Holley on top of a Summit air gap intake manifold, a Comp Cams camshaft inside that really thumps, and a full Mallory HEI ignition system. Theres power on tap at any speed and it yanks the big coupe around like it weighs 800 pounds less than it does and sounds amazing doing it. A TH350 3-speed automatic transmission shifts easily, giving the Monte Carlo its luxury car personality, but a quick jab of the throttle summons an authoritative downshift that makes this big luxury cruiser feel light on its feet and the sound of the recent dual exhaust system with an X-pipe is downright intimidating. Underneath, its a super clean southern car so there are no surprises, and the transmission cooler is neatly mounted to the floor. Rounding out the list of features are a set of giant 18-inch Legend wheels painted to match the SS stripes and fitted with 245/45/18 front and 295/45/18 rear performance radials. These are handsome, comfortable, and surprisingly fleet coupes that are gaining popularity as the mainstream muscle cars continue to appreciate. With lots of performance and a great look, this one is a great alternative. Call today!... Read more

This car is a rare find. Its not only a one owner car with unbelievably low mileage, its also a 1980s Muscle car in the old school tradition of body on frame construction. So, its a near perfect survivor of the last of a breed, and, its a Monte Carlo. Check out this striking paint. Its original of course, laid on there by the factory 34 years ago, and it looks as good now as it did back then. It is code 27U and 27L, Light French Blue Metallic and Medium Sapphire Blue Metallic. The shape of the body cuts lines that were unique in 1984 and are even more-so today. It leads with sharp, crisp lines defining the front end with quad headlights set on each side of a black out grill. The hood starts low, raking up and back, feeding into a roofline that ends with an upright rear window. Down the side, there is Monte Carlo SS script on the doors. An SS wing on the trunk handles the downforce on the rear at speed, and the body lines all come together cleanly for a great look from the rear. Finishing things out right, are a couple chrome tailpipes singing their song and letting the world know that you are driving something special too. Open the door and check out this interior. Dark Royal Blue, (trim code 22D) with a wood dash. Its perfect. This car was ordered with the code AR9 reclining European style bucket seats, which are just asking for someone to sit in them (remember, that hasnt happened much on this car!) and there is a big, comfortable arm rest on the door panel. So, jump in, have a seat and check out the view of the gauges. Set up like they should be. Engine monitoring in the center, tach off to the right, and speedo to the left. But this is no stripped down hot-rod. This is a personal luxury hot rod. The wood treatment on the dash is gorgeous! And it has all the luxury features like power windows and locks, tilt and cruise, and of course power steering and brakes. You may notice the lack of a radio. In another rare find, this car was also ordered radio delete, code UL5, and it remains original as ordered with no radio. Have I mentioned how original and perfect this car is yet? Well that continues under the hood. It is as neat and clean and original as the day it was built. The SS designation means that it has an upgraded version of the 305-cubic inch V8 that pumps out a bit more torque and horsepower than its stable mates. That power flows back through a 3-speed automatic transmission to a solid rear axle located by trailing arms with coil springs and a sway bar keeping body roll down. Up front, control arms with another beefy sway bar that is matched nicely with the rear bar, makes this a nice handling machine. Power front disc brakes give you confidence that you can reign things back in again if you decide to let the horses run a bit. The car looks great sitting on its stock steel wheels with polished trim rings and 215/65R15 Goodyear Eagle GT rubber all around. Come on down and check out this rare find. You might decide that you should be its second owner.... Read more

This is that proverbial car that was driven by a little old lady to church and back on Sundays. Sort of. It was to work and back, but the little old lady part is true. It stayed in its home town of Elkton, KY all its life and spent most of that time under a car port. So here is your chance to buy a nice, survivor Monte Carlo. The Monte Carlo was designed and marketed as a personal luxury car, and it fit the bill very well. It was sporty but comfortable with a style all its own. That style starts with a coke bottle shape as the fenders bulge out a bit similar to the Chevelle, because this car has some V8 muscle and wants to show it. The hood was stretched a bit following the styling cues that people seemed to like so much on its Grand Prix cousin, and then this one was coated in Mulsanne Blue and received a vinyl roof. Its the original paint on the car, which is one of those things that earns it the survivor badge of honor, and it still looks good. Up front a chrome grill of horizontal lines leads the way with a Monte Carlo crest in the center. Its underlined by a good looking bumper and flanked by round headlights with square chrome bezels. Chrome dresses out the wheel wells and the rocker moldings as well and there is another nice bumper out back with vertical taillights on the outer edges. Open the door and you will find a Blue interior that is original and in excellent condition. The door panel itself sets the look with buttons highlighting a rectangular pattern sewn into the vinyl along with a carpeted lower edge. Inside, the comfortable split bench seat echoes that pattern in cloth. There is a two-spoke steering wheel with Monte Carlo in script with a column shifter for the automatic trans. Behind it is a nice burled wood toned dashboard with the speedo in the center, fuel gauge to the left, clock to the right and engine indicators on either side of those. The wood grain reaches over to capture the ventilation controls and the AM/FM radio. There is a comfortable back seat, perfect for traveling in although its doubtful anyone has sat back there more than once or twice, and a good-sized trunk for loading up for a road trip. Pop the hood and you will not find any surprises. It is a completely stock, tried and true, 350 cubic inch engine with signs that it has received good regular maintenance with a newer battery, radiator and master cylinder present. Underneath the car a new exhaust system keeps the car running quietly and the power this engine makes flows back through a 3-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels. There are power front disc brakes that can haul this car down from speed in a hurry and the rubber meets the road through 225/75R15 white wall tires mounted on sharp looking Rally wheels with polished trim rings and center caps. Heres your chance to buy a nice, low mileage Monte Carlo that was driven by a little old lady. Really.... Read more

Serious performance and grand touring luxury were the hallmarks of the best Chevrolet Monte Carlos. And this classic 1972 example only amplifies those attitudes with everything from a big block performance V8, to slick red paint, to a comfy custom interior. This coupe is an upgrade from the original, so you want a paint that lets everyone know that. Thats why we love this slick red paint. The modern clear coat does a great job of highlighting the crisp lines that are the hallmark of Chevys personal luxury machine. But theres also an electric-like quality in this high-gloss application that gives this car a radiant personality. Competing with the paint for shine is the mirror-like polish on areas like the form-fitting chrome bumpers and full trim. Uniting the ideas of shine, premium, and modern aggression are the large 18-inch Intro five-spoke alloys. More performance and luxury continues inside. The interior follows the factorys premium button-top pattern, but now it has been restored for a custom two-tone. It combines the aggressive red of the exterior and expertly blends it with a muscle car-like black. In fact, the full round gauge panel and iconic horseshoe shifter will make you feel like youre in a Super Sport Chevy. While this is truly a drivers machine, it also has the space to share with family and friends. Thats why this classic also accommodates with everything from new provisions for air conditioning to a modern AM/FM/CD stereo with subwoofer. The moment you open the hood, you instantly realize that this Monte Carlo earns all of its aggressive upgrades. Sure, a few lucky ones had the big 454 V8 in 72, but even those werent as big as this. Within the dark and tidy engine bay, youll see a 502 cubic-inch Chevrolet crate motor. It has been built correctly, including a four-barrel carburetor, GM Performance heads, and long tube headers that feed a growling H-pipe dual exhaust. Not only is this a big power machine, but it also has all the right supporting components, including March pulleys, steel-braided hoses, and a large aluminum radiator. Plus, the TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is stout enough to get all this muscle to the pavement. And as you look at the undercarriage photos, youll see a clean and fresh presentation that comes from in a classic that has only been driven about 5,000 miles since its restoration. And with upgrades like Baer four-wheel disc brakes and modern Nitto ZR-rated tires, youll be firmly in control to add plenty more miles to the odometer. You can tell there has been a ton of time, thought, and money invested in restoring this unique Chevy. So when you can get your hands on a classic thats equal parts vintage luxury and muscle car, you know you have to hurry on something this special. Call now!... Read more

Low mileage, a fantastic profile, and highly original right down to the 8-track player this 1973 Chevrolet Monte Carlo is the classic that still knows how to make a personal luxury statement. The Monte Carlo was about rolling sophistication, and this one showcases it nicely. After all, it has a very regal presence with its correct white paint with white vinyl roof. But what really still catches your eye in modern times are the details. Up front, the large round headlights are nicely integrated into the pointed front end. The trunk has a crisp line that also creates a stylish overhang for the taillights. And nothing beats this coupes profile. The sweeping fender line that extends all the way into the doors is something theyd never dare try again today, and the rear fender has a sporty kick-up we love on muscle cars. Plus, theres all the right bright work, from the wraparound chrome bumpers to the Rally wheels. The black interior is the perfect contrast to the all white exterior. This car has averaged less than 1,700 miles annually, and the interior really tells you those miles have been easy ones. After all, theres not even a button missing from the two wide bench seats. Plus, the door panels, headliner, and dash all retain a nice dark appearance, too. All this black goes nicely with the factory burled walnut applique. In fact, this one is so correct that the factory AM/FM 8-track stereo is cranking out tunes. Plus, the factory air conditioning is still blowing cold, so you can happily share this time capsule with family and friends. The engine bay looks exceptionally authentic, and so youll love telling people this is the original 350 cubic-inch V8. Low mileage and a well-respected life mean this one fires up nicely. Plus, the four-barrel carburetor helps deliver the kind of torque you demand from a large classic American coupe. In fact, this one keeps its easy-cruising attitude with great driving features like power steering, front disc brakes, a three-speed automatic transmission, and sway bars front & rear. This is a well-preserved personal luxury classic that has all the right features you want. So at a price like this, its time to hurry to grab this deal. Call now!... Read more

Cruisin Classics is proud to introduce a 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. It was the first year for the "Monte" and we are lucky to have a matching numbers engine and factory air conditioning (working well!). Engine Suffix Code CGW.This Monte Carlo not only boasts plenty of power under the hood... this Butternut Yellow beauty is a real head turner. The vinyl top is in great condition, bright work is as shiny as it could be and the body is in picture ready condition. The 4 COYS Wheels add a little something to the overall beautiful appearance. Chevrolet made sure that the experience was optimal by adding power steering, power brakes (now front disc), air conditioning and the comfort of a big bench seat with tons of room in the back. This will probably go fast so anybody that is looking at this with any intention at all should probably just go ahead and do it. Cruisin Classics would like to introduce a 1972 Monte Carlo. This is a one-family owned (from mom and dad to daughter) vehicle that has been meticulously maintained throughout its whole life. The air conditioning blows nice and cold just in case the show gets a little hot. Please enjoy the pictures and video of it as it shows a straight, clean and great running vehicle. The White exterior is contrasted by a black vinyl top that looks like it was put on yesterday. For the years, the paint looks great. There are a couple of blemishes on the drivers side at the bottom of the vinyl top. (see specific pics) Staying on the outside, the Firestone Firehawk Tires are matched with Chevrolet Rally Wheels.Running this classic is a smooth running machine in the form of a 350ci engine. An automatic transmission and a freeway friendly, 10-bolt rear end. Going down the road you will notice how strong the engine runs and how smooth the transmission shifts. We went over some railroad tracks and it was like they werent even there. The sound that comes out is a nice low rumble and when you give it a little pedal...the sound gets even better. Inside you will find beautiful, black bench seats front and back. They are both in a condition that will make you proud to show. The door panels are just as nice. This is a ride that is ready to go now. Overall...very clean, very attractive and will make somebody a very happy owner. BID AND WIN this vehicle on www.WheelerAuctionGroup.com The Monte Carlo was originally conceived as Chevrolets counterpart to the new G-body Pontiac Grand Prix, which was a great success in 1969. Pete Estes and Dave Holls raided the GM parts bin; much of the body and structure came from the Chevelle, but the styling of the contemporary Cadillac Eldorado also showed through with a long hood, wider C-pillars and muscular fender bulges in the rear. Despite a labor strike in Flint during the early months of 1970, GM cranked out more than 159,000 Monte Carlos, most with the familiar 350 small block V-8 mated to a column-mounted three-speed Synchro-Mesh transmission. Available for the first time in 30 years is this beautiful, triple black 70 Monte. Collector owned and maintained! Former AR car. Nice glossy paint, clean interior, great tires, chrome and vinyl top in excellent condition. Runs and drives great! AC car but the belt has been removed. Ready for any show or cruise night to come its way. Vehicle is located in Wisconsin, USA. Bidder/Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping from this location to wherever they want it shipped to.... Up for sale in the Chicago Showroom of Gateway Classic Cars is a muscular 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. In 1970 the world saw the debut of the Monte Carlo, built on the same A-Platform that underpinned the Grand Prix. Unlike the its Pontiac cousin, Chevrolet gave the Monte Carlo a more muscular appearance borrowing several styling cues from the Chevelle at the time. This particular example is offered in the always timeless Black on Black color scheme. The glossy black exterior is complemented nicely with the large chrome bumpers and Crager SS Wheels gleaming in the sunlight. The car has an aggressive stance that lets the public know the car is as mean as it looks. Inside you ll find Black Racing Bucket seats and newly upholstered back seat. Turn up the tunes and listen to custom stereo systems or roll down the windows to hear the roar of the dual Flowmaster Exhaust. Under the hood is built Chevy 350 Small Block with a beefed up cam, aluminum heads, headers, a new starter and a 3 core radiator to keep it all cool. This powerhouse is bolted to a 700r4 Transmission with a B&M floor shifter, new stall converter and overdrive cut off switch. All this power is then sent to the rear end to be spun through the 12 bolt rear end with 373 gears. Options include: Air conditioning, AM/FM Radio, CD player, Racing wheels, Power Brakes, Power Steering, and Posi traction. For more information regarding this 70s classic contact the Chicago Showroom at 708-444-4488 or Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com. Imagine you had a car you always wanted to build, then hit to lottery the same day the summit catalog arrived in the mail. You dialed the 800 number and your best friend answered the phone, 14 hours later you had wiped out your bank account. Three days later 14 FedEx trucks pulled into your driveway and unloaded the initial orders, that s this car. This pro touring Monte Carlo for sale has the best of everything and I will attempt to list most of it later in this description. First the basics, A balanced and blueprinted 434 cubic inch that has Kotcur ported and polished 210CC heads and Eagle rotating assembly swinging Mahle forged pistons. Moving the valve train is a custom ground cam pushing Crowler roller lifters and Scorpion 1.5 roller rockers. A 830 CFM Holley carb dumps fuel into the Weiand supercharger that slams the huge cylinders full of air and fuel. Remember, these are just the highlights! MSD ignition box and wires, Milodon oil pan and Felpro are all represented as well. Be Cool radiator keeps everything well with in temp range while Aeromotive s A1000 fuel system feeds the Holey . Backing this torque monster is a Hugh s performance built 700R4 4 speed automatic transmission that is packed with goodies like an SFI flywheel and a stout 3,000 rpm stall converter. A Currie Ford 9 inch with nodular third member packed with a limited slip unit and 3.73 gears provides the tires more than they can bear. Electric exhaust cut outs, SSBC power disc brakes, Hotkiss suspension, Mickey Thompson tires and 17inch Weld wheel just to throw a couple of other names in the hat. I told you, not one penny was pinched in the build of this ride. So, take it to the track and embarrass your rivals and then stop on the way home to pick up milk, loaf of bread, box of cereal and half gallon of ice cream. I bet you get it home before it melts! Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this awesome 1987 Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe. With only 6052 Super Sport Monte Carlo Aero Coupes built during 1987, this is a one off amazing piece of history. Bought by the current owner 20 years ago, he decided to build this car the way Chevy should have done it! The anemic 5.0L V8 that put out only an anemic 180 Horses to the ground has been discarded. We all tried to convince ourselves, back in the day, that the 305 was awesome, but it s what you do when you overcompensating for your deficiencies. The replacement is a very healthy 350 CID engine that has bored .030 over the block lined bored, plate honed to insure everything stayed straight during the machining process. The rotating assembly has been balanced, to insure longevity of this power plant, with a set of TRW forged flat top pistons installed and a Crane roller cam (computer friendly cam) to make this a rock solid piece. To allow this engine to breathe properly, a set of Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads, held in place by ARP head bolts and Crane Gold roller rockers fro reliability with less resistance. To get plenty of air into the heads, a T.P.I.S. Big Mouth intake with matched big tube runners and BBK throttle body set at op the engine. All GM sensors are new with a new GM Computer. The exhaust is a set of Edelbrock headers, with a.i.r. injection, that have been Jet Hot coated so they will last for the life of the car. From the headers, a Torque Tech 2.5 mandrel bent exhaust system with Walker Super Dyno-Max mufflers. The whole engine compartment including the wiring system has been done to appear factory. The engine is estimated to put out a minimum 360 hp, or twice the original power plant. To handle extra power, the original 200r4 with Art Carr internals and an Art Carr torque Converter. The rear end has been swapped out for a Buick Grand National rear end that has new bearings, posi unit, 3.73 ring & pinion with a set of Moser Street/Strip axles to make the rear end nearly bullet proof. The interior is all original burgundy cloth seats and original dashboard. When you set in the interior, it still looks and smells as good as the day it rolled off the showroom. Outside the car, the vehicle is done in White gloss paint, with pin striping that very closely matches the factory scheme, with difference being on the hood indicating what lies beneath. Before the new white paint was laid down, the car was taken completely apart, including being separated from the frame. The frame was sand blasted, painted in a semi gloss, then all new parts were installed including; new stainless fuel & brake lines, Bell Tech 2 inch front drop spindles, 2 inch Bell-Tech springs in rear w/shocks, NOS GM body bushings. To finish off the look is a set of COYs 5 wheel with gray centers and a polished outer lip. One look under the shows the unmatched detail to attention that has been brought to the whole build of this car. This Monte Carlo has won at Car Shows regularly over the last 10 years and will continue to win shows! Everybody has heard the line, you couldnt build this car for the price, it is definitely a true statement in this case. This Monte Carlo here is sure to please a crowd at a car show, with its low, throaty rumble upon startup, its tire burning horsepower, and its sleek stylish appearance. Options include Radial tires, A/C, Power brakes, Power steering, AM/FM radio and Power windows. This truly one off 1987 Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
