If its attention you crave, few cars will deliver a crowd better than this 1992 Chevrolet Caprice Classic wagon. Forget porky taxi cabs and police cruisers, this insane custom offers a slammed stance, incredible paint, and enough room for the Celtics starting lineup. The Impala SS created a whole new niche of full-sized muscle, but the Caprice Classic shouldnt be overlooked as this car so ably proves. The paint is basic black over Corvette Sunset Orange with a bright purple stripe bisecting the two, all rendered in House of Kolor urethane and wrapping into the door jambs. Not only does it look awesome, but it fits the big cars curves in such a way as to mask its size and give it a nimble, high performance look, or at least something that looks less suburban. The work probably wasnt cheap, either, since finish quality is quite good with a shine thats dazzling and fit and finish that suggest that this car has never been hit or damaged in its life. A billet grille and custom bumper smooth the front end without losing the cars identity, while a shaved tailgate makes a distinctive statement out back. Tinted windows emphasize the sleek shape, and the entire car has been completely de-badged. Inside, full-sized comfort meets performance car function, with wide velour bench seats that look like buckets with an armrest between them. A billet steering wheel has been fitted in place of the chunky original airbag unit, and the instrument panel is factory-issue and surrounded with a contrasting silver bezel that matches the other interior trim. The seats show some character marks, but no damage or signs of neglect, and with this top-of-the-line car in 1992, everything was standard, from power windows to A/C. A big, honkin stereo system has been fitted in the dash, with a Sony AM/FM/CD head unit and speakers throughout the interior and a back seat filled with a custom speaker box. And as a station wagon, the cargo bay is so big it can handle a weeks worth of luggage or all your gear for your hot rod. Try that with your Corvette! Speaking of Corvettes, the Caprice was powered by a version of the LT1, detuned slightly but still robust and making plenty of torque. Shockingly, this one is still pretty stock, so its reliable, docile, and ready to cruise any time with OEM functionality. Recent work includes new fuel injectors, a full tune up, new sensors, replacement A/C compressor, and a fresh fuel pump. It starts easily, idles well, and with a stock exhaust system, it remains effortlessly comfortable to drive. The springs have been replaced by Eibach units that help with the lowered stance, along with a set of Belltech drop spindles that give it a bit of a rake. Those massive Budnik wheels measure 19 inches up front and 20 inches in back and carry 245/40/19 and 75/45/20 performance radials, respectively. Originally customized by West Coast legend Bernt Karlsson, this waggy is a neck-breaker. If you like these big bruisers, you cant own one that will get more eyeballs than this. Well tuned, easy to drive, and very affordable, you cant get more high-end sheetmetal per dollar than this. Call today!

If you are the kind of person who likes to go your own way instead of following the crowd, then you might like this one of a kind, custom, sports-truck. Its got a radical look to it and this thing is fast! Check it out. Not sure where or how to start describing this vehicle. First impressions get people wondering. Second impressions keep them wondering. They might notice the aggressive stance to the chassis and wonder what lies beneath that custom body. Dressed in Black with a hood scoop outlined in silver with blue pinstripes, the look up front is super clean. There are no hood or fender lines breaking up the flow of the body. The spoiler reaches low to the ground with fog lights and ducts cut into it. An oval grill with horizontal bars allows air in for cooling and headlights blend smoothly into the fenders. The bed of this vehicle features road racing aero down low and custom cutouts on the leading and trailing edges of the wheel wells. A hard bed cover continues the silver with blue pinstripe treatment down the center. Lift it up and you will find a nice flat cargo area with extra stowage below a lift up panel. Open the door and you will find an interior from the Caprice wagon that the chassis is based on. The door panel has a black upper with a pull handle set in wood grain panel. The center section is gray with vertical stripes and is underlined by black which matches the carpeting in the car. The bucket seats echo the look with gray pleated seating surfaces edged by smooth black vinyl with SS embroidered into the headrests. There is a leather wrapped steering wheel mounted on a tilt column with cruise. A rectangular dash display has clearly visible gauges for the speedo and tach as well as fuel, oil, water and volt meters. Wood grain cuts across the center with controls mounted in it including those for the R134 A/C system and AM/FM radio. The black and gray center console has a nice armrest as well as the switches for the power windows and a shifter for the 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive that was sourced from a late model Camaro. Tilting the hood forward on this car is fun and dramatic. And, it exposes another nice piece of hardware borrowed from the Camaro. A 6.2-liter V8 that sits down in the engine bay rather nicely. There is a cold air intake, a black cover dressing out the intake manifold, and silver covers with Chevrolet in script dressing out the valve covers. Hooker headers flow back to a dual exhaust system with free flow mufflers. The substantial amount of power that engine makes is sent back through the 4-speed automatic that was sourced from the same car so everything works together nicely. A solid axle located by a trailing arm rear suspension with coil springs transfers all that power to the ground. Up front, a control arm suspension with coil springs and a stout sway bar keeps the car cornering flat and ventilated disc brakes haul it back down from speed when you decide to let the horses run. The rubber meets the road through 275/50R17s in the back and 225/50R17s up front mounted on American Racing wheels. You can go your own way with this custom sports truck. And you can do it quickly, because this thing is fast!! Come on down and check it out.

The 1969 Chevrolet Caprice coupe was the top of the line, but this one also was specially built to be different from day one. With the bold outside color scheme, big block under the hood, and a loaded A/C interior, this restored hardtop is truly a distinguished machine. This is a special order paint color, and the trim tag and partial buildsheet prove it. While Hugger Orange was available elsewhere across the General Motors lineup, the muscle car color doesnt appear to be part of the upper-class Caprices history. So it would have taken a true lover of boldness and luxury to create a car like this. Thats also why something this special was given a full frame-off restoration. The sheetmetal is amazingly straight, which makes for a terrific canvas to re-apply the special bold paintwork. The speedy and slick orange nicely contrasts with the black vinyl roof to deliver a fast-with-class total appearance. Plus, the premium Caprice had some great exclusive features like the functional, optional hide away headlights and the special full-length trim that coordinates so nicely with the hardtop on this example. And the polished Torq Thrust wheels go so nicely with the rest of the mirror-like brightwork. So while the factory hubcaps come with the sale, this upgrade really complements this cars special attitude. This dual luxury and performance stance continues on the loaded interior. Plush button-top seating and wood-like trim give everyone the premium feeling. But this is also a more personal machine thanks to a fold-down armrest up front and a three-spoke sports steering wheel. The full blackout package looks great against the exterior, and so youll love showing off this hardtop profile everywhere. And thats especially easy thanks to power windows and factory air conditioning now blowing cold with modern R134a. Plus, there are more great amenities like cruise control, provisions for power locks, and a power adjusting seat. Even the AM/FM 8-track stereo is still pumping out tunes for great period-correct cruising. Big luxury needs a big motor, and those 427 badges on the fender didnt lie. You can see more evidence of the quality level of the restoration in the way this period-correct big block looks quite factory fresh. The four-barrel carb on top is exactly what you want for power. But remember, this is a luxury cruiser, too. So the dual exhaust has a throaty rumble, but not an overpowering one. And the TH400 three-speed automatic shifts smoothly like a true boulevard cruiser should. Plus, the power steering and power brakes w/discs up front means you can take everyone on ice cream runs without breaking a sweat. The full photo gallery really shows off the quality of this coupe right down to the fresh components underneath. And a car this special also comes with the right paperwork, including the original warranty card, owners manual, partial buildsheet, and many original docs. This is a unique classic built from day one to be distinctive and powerful. So if you like to standout in all the best ways, dont miss this extraordinary classic. Call today!
Those with a limited budget should consider purchasing a project vehicle as an option to entering into classic car ownership.
*** REDUCED *** With just 16,422 miles, this 1996 Caprice Classic is the equivalent of an Impala SS, but so much more unique! The Caprice Classic was available with a run of the mill 4.3 liter V8, but the top motor was the Corvette-derived 5.7 liter LT1. One look under the hood is all you will need to be convinced that this is a low-mileage original car as all the original equipment is present and intact. The transmission is GM's rugged and dependable 4L60E 4-speed automatic, and it works perfectly. Out back a set of 2.93 gears on a limited slip differential help the Caprice deliver on its EPA estimated 26 MPG on the highway and make it a highly relaxed cruiser. This car does carry the optional $550 Sport Suspension, which upgraded the standard Caprice to Impala SS specifications for a little more precision on the road. The car currently wears aftermarket aluminum five spoke wheels that feature gunmetal gray paint, machined aluminum lips and 235/70R15 BF Goodrich Long Trail radials. However, if you're a stickler for authenticity, the car's original aluminum alloy turbine wheels that came standard with the Special Value Caprice Sedan Package 3 are included with the sale. The main reason this car is a Caprice Classic and not an Impala SS is inside, where the original owner insisted on a leather-lined bench instead of the Impala's standard buckets. Nicely preserved and showing hardly any wear at all, this Caprice's interior is a plush environment that has legroom galore. With all of the hardware that makes an Impala SS so cool, plus the updated quarter panels and windows that got rid of the odd Caprice styling, this essentially new 1996 Caprice Classic is a slam-dunk!Documentation is extensive, as the original owner wisely retained all the original paperwork. We have the original window sticker, 1996 Caprice brochure, order forms, invoice, receipts, owner's manual, the folder with all the supplemental information from the dealer, the post-delivery satisfaction survey (never filled out), a thank-you letter from Beaty Chevrolet, the selling dealer, the GM Roadside Assistance plan booklet, and even the original temporary license tag!

For sale in our Nashville TN showroom is a rare gem of a 1996 Chevrolet Impala. This 1996 Chevy Impala for sale in our Nashville TN showroom is the lowest mileage most well kept 1996 Impala I ve ever put my hands on. The Chevrolet Impala SS was far meaner than any standard Caprice, able to run to 60 mph in 7.0 seconds and through the quarter mile in 15.4 seconds, scorching contemporary four-door muscle machines. The Impala SS s spaciousness and comfort, whether for road trips or just for cruising around town. The trunk is enormous (at 20.4 cubic feet, it s more spacious than the trunk in today s Mercedes-Benz S-Class), and the back seat has enough head- and legroom to easily accommodate 6-foot passengers. My scalp doesn t come close to touching the cloth headliner. The four-gauge instrument cluster is plain and legible, and both the climate-control knobs and the sound system use large controls that are handily within the driver s reach. The 260-hp V-8 speaks softly and the four-speed automatic glides between gears gently when we pull away from lights in traffic, though you ll find plenty of torque on tap when the road clears and you dip deeper into the throttle. A large-diameter steering wheel and light-effort power steering make it easy to maneuver the big Impala. The upshot of the suspension tuning is that the Impala SS is remarkably comfortable for a performance-oriented car. Large 255/50R-17 tires help cushion driver and passengers from pothole impacts; engine and road noise are reasonably subdued; and the wide, flat seats are as plush as leather couches. The Impala SS still attracts attention because stuffing a high-performance engine into a family sedan remains a pretty unusual formula. Options include: AC, CD player, Cruise control, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power seats, power windows, keyless entry, power mirrors, air bags, leather interior, posi traction For more information call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Now up for sale in Gateway s Louisville showroom is this good looking 1970 Chevrolet Caprice. This cool Hardtop 4 door Caprice brings back memories of going to the country to visit Grand Pa and Grand Ma. Their go to vehicle for church on Sunday s was Chevrolet very similar to this. This Caprice is believed to be a 3-owner car. Originally sold in Hodgenville Ky, the 2nd purchased this Caprice in 1996. The 2nd owner then sold it to his son who has owned it for the last 10 years. The 350 CID V8 was rebuilt about 8 years ago and only has 4000 miles on it. Under the hood, everything looks to be intact, which can sometimes be a hard thing to find in these older classics. Everybody wants to hot rod them and this leads to a lot to the original parts missing. Who didn t ride around in a big 4-door Chevy back in high school? The exterior looks to have one repaint, but it is the original color. The quarter panels where replaced by restoration shop that typically restores Corvettes. Inside, this 1970 Chevrolet Caprice is in very good shape. The cloth and vinyl is in excellent shape with no rips or tears. The vinyl does not appear to have any cracks, which is a rarity for these big body classics. If you have been wanting to get an extremely clean classic that is a little different this beauty is a great canidate. New short-block, installed March 2015, new GM 350 CID engine block (now the engine has less than 6,800 miles), new gasoline tank both costing some $5,200; also, $10,700 paint and R&R of all rust w/ new roof, new floor, and new windshield; new starter installed September 5 2017. 118,200 odometer miles; there are new dealer installed valves at 35,000 miles, under Chevy warranty.I'd received the car in 1990 from my dad, at some 35K miles -- purchased new by him in 1988.To explain the relatively low mileage, a.) I have been retired since 1998; b.) Since November, 1990 and until retiring in 1998 I'd commuted by bicycle three to four days each week (unless there was snow) for a total of some 20,000 miles on bicycle; c.) On long trips, mostly annual vacations, I rent a car to use. Also, by far, trips during the years had been highway miles, due to proximity of my home location. Update: on vacation in 2017, I am using a "new" 2016 Toyota Camry.September 5, 2017, I'd changed the oil. I'd changed it twice before making it a total of two oil changes into the new engine prior to the new engine reaching 5,000. (New engine's oil changes = three.) During September 2016, I'd replaced the exhaust system and a new battery; a new starter had been installed September 5, 2017. During November 2016 I'd paid some $800 to remove and replace all additional rust on front passenger door. The starter had been replaced with a new one September 5, 2017According to Car Facts, the VIN for my Caprice ERRONEOUSLY shows a junk status in 1996. I just found out (September 15, 2107) when attempting to trade it in for the "new" Toyota. I'd just 10-6-17 wrote to Car Fax including the fact that the date of the supposed junk status listed mileage in the single thousand (six thousand miles, I think.) In fact this car had more than 35,000 miles IN 1990, when I took possession from my dad. How could it have had so few miles in 1996, the purported date of the erroneous Car Fax reportCurrent total miles on car is some 118,200.Four new Tiger Paws tires had been installed 9-5-2017This vehicle has been restored to be virtually new at an expense of more than $19,000.Offered now, on request, is financing avalaible. Also there would be extended warren tee included.
