Heres the best way to bring two icons together. This is a true 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air coupe on the outside, but underneath the skin are the best modern upgrades you could want, including a LS1 Corvette V8. There is a secret deal you make when buying the right restomod. Its the quiet acknowledgement that they get built with a little extra flash because more people are going to see it. After all, if you can drive this 57 more comfortably to many more places, so this coupe will be seen by plenty more people. The upgrade starts with the paint. By utilizing a glossy modern shine and avoiding the two-tone treatment, this one skews more towards the look of a serious street machine. And take a moment to really appreciate the slickness of this Matador Red. They took theyre time to professionally lay it out, and so it draws even more attention to the crisp bodywork. It also highlights custom elements like the smoother hood, sport mirrors, frenched license plate, and custom hood inserts that now help feed air to the beast under the hood. Plus, the brightwork attracts attention all on its own. Theres a deeper shine and a straighter finish that tells everyone there was a ton invested here. We especially like the simplified front end. It still carries the classic 57 spirit, but now it also has a more modern appeal that matches the polished C5 Corvette wheels. One look inside, and you can instantly tell this is a restomod that will leave you wanting for nothing. The bucket seats have modern bolstering and are coverd in supple Ultraleather. And this is not just for you, because thanks to the full-length custom center console, everyone has an individual seat. And because family and friends will want to go for a ride, you have upgrades like a modern AM/FM/CD stereo, full Boston Acoustic sound package, and cold R134a air conditioning. But the drivers seat is the one that will always matter the most. Thats why yours power adjusts to the ideal position, and youre just a fingertip away from features like power windows and power locks. Theres even a custom built-in overhead console to hold the built-in satellite radio, radar detector, and integrated garage door opener. As you rest your hand on the Corvette shifter, grab the Lecarra sports steering wheel, and see the full gauge package fitted into the classic dash, your body gets the tingle of performance even before you twist the key and hear this one roar. Lift the hood, and youll see another Chevy icon powering this legendary coupe. Within the smooth painted fender walls is an LS1 V8 motor from a C5 Corvette. That means the racing flags on the tailfins are earned, and in fact, its something much wilder than what most people will be expecting. After all, this bulletproof modern motor churned out 350 hp in the Vette. And since the professionals at Time Machines Inc. created this full custom build, we know its still that strong today. But power is only part of this unique package. Its mated to a 4L60-E transmission thats connected to a 3.15 limited slip rear end with the perfect ratio thats set for power takeoffs or all-day highway cruising. Plus, the Corvettes fully independent suspension was adapted for this classic, too. Add in power steering, vented & slotted four-wheel disc brakes, and modern Michelin tires on all four wheels, and this is a great custom that can be driven all day before teaching lesser coupes a few lessons at night. The sale comes complete with this cars feature story in Chevy High Performance Magazine. This is the one-of-a-kind Bel Air that youve always dreamed of owning. But theres only one up for grabs so hurry and call today!

Why This Car Is Special This is a nut and bolt restoration that is phenomenal from top to bottom. Check out the photos of the underside to see the quality of the build. This is a real VC VIN, meaning it is an original V8 Bel Air from the factory. Mechanical This Tri-Five beauty has a freshly rebuilt 350 V8 with a freshly rebuilt 700R4 automatic transmission, making this a great cruiser. The engine is mildly built with a Comp Cams camshaft, Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake with Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, HEI and electric fuel pump. A Griffin aluminum radiator keeps this SBC nice and cool with the help of dual electric fans. An Optima Red Top battery has been installed along with Vintage Air. The 700R4 is a cruisers transmission that will handle highway speeds with ease. It is connected to a 12-bolt rear end with 3.30 gears. The power steering is nice and tight with a CPP 500 steering box. The power disc brakes have upgraded drilled and slotted rotors providing plenty of stopping power. Tubular A-arms up front look and function better than stock. Ceramic coated headers run to true dual exhaust with an H-pipe and a mild street rod sound. This car isnt all go and no show. It has polished and chrome pieces everywhere you look under the hood, including: brackets, pullies, A/C compressor, alternator, valve covers and air cleaner. Interior The interior is restored to stock convertible style cloth and vinyl upholstery with seat belts and an Ididit tilt steering column. A modern AM/FM radio fits the factory holes and sounds great. Vintage Air controls are nicely added to the dash and dont detract from the original styling. Extra AutoMeter gauges have been tastefully added under the dash to keep an eye on the engine. Exterior Original 1955 colors of Gypsy Red and Shoreline Beige have been used during the restoration and go great with the rally wheels with knockoffs. LED taillights and LED 3rd brake light were added for safety. Nice chrome exhaust tips just peek out past the bumper to let a discerning eye know this car is not stock. For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is a very cool 1957 Chevrolet Nomad. Tri-Fives have become a symbol of Americana. From four doors, to two doors, to wagons, and convertibles, theyre are loveable and enjoyable in their own way. Perhaps the most sought after, is the two door wagon known as a Nomad. The Nomad has a sleeker and sportier look than most wagons with its tilted forward B-Pillars and dramatic sloping rear tailgate. Theres no question this sporty wagon has a beautiful silhouette that a whole generation can relate to. This particular Nomad has been spruced up with some tasteful touches, and undergone a very extensive restoration. The exterior is finished in a deep, dark black, with gorgeous stainless bright work down the sides. You would never believe it was done in the early 90 s unless we told you, that s how good this paint looks. It sits on 15 gold wire wheels, which really make the rest of the gold trim pop off the sides of this car. Pop the hood, you ll find what is believed to be the original 283 that has been bored 0.060 over with a mild cam in it to give a little extra grunt. The interior is two-tone to match the exterior with a very unique upholstery pattern. They certainly dont make interiors like they used to. This Nomad was restored about 15 years ago and has held up well since. If youre looking for a tri-five that will draw a crowd wherever you go, its gotta be a Nomad. This Chevy is the perfect mix of high end panache and classic 50 s gusto. To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit: www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this unbelievably custom 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. The 55 Chevy Bel-Air is arguably one of the best-looking cars ever built. There clean lines and finless design make them great candidates for full on custom builds. Art Morrison started out building frames for tubbed out drag cars in the 70 s and 80 s but the company really took off when he began building his line of pro-touring chassis . This 55 is sitting on one of his custom-built frames which not only looks good but increases the handling of the car dramatically. Finished off in the same Erica red paint as the body making the transition from floor pan to frame almost seamless. With touches of chrome here and there to break it up you can tell this was a well thought out build. The stance of the car was also dramatically changed due to the chassis as well with it sitting much lower than a stock 55. The wheels will be the next thing you notice with the set consisting of 18 s in the front and 20 s in the back giving the car that aggressive look. Behind those wheels are a set of chrome plated calipers that blend nicely while the cross-drilled and slotted rotors show people you mean business. Under that silky-smooth hood is was most consider the Mecca of LS powerplants. This LS7 has been built with a mild cam giving it a nice lope at idle but the real work is in the details. The intake has been painted to match with the custom firewall being cleaned up which flows into the custom inner fender wells. A custom piece of metal was formed to cover up the radiator as well making this engine bay look seamless like the rest of the car. Putting power to the road is a built 4l60 transmission giving you the capability to drive this beauty down the freeway comfortably at highway speeds. Inside the custom touches are extensive with the dash being made from one piece of metal as well. The gauges and AC vents are molded into that custom dash as well keeping with that flowing design. The leather wrapped seats are extremely comfortable while the Lokar shifter sits perfectly in the custom-made console. With this car being a fresh build and never shown to the public this beauty is guaranteed to collect a whole room of trophies or do what this car was intended to do Drive It! The fit & finish, straightness, & paint are impeccable along with the undercarriage being as impressive as it is on top. There are 3 colors on the car red, black, & silver. The car has won many awards such as Best in Show, Best Paint, Best Chevy, & Best in class in multiple car shows throughout the region. Chevrolet even used the car for their 50-year booth at the Houston Auto Rama. Absolutely no expense was spared on building this car. Slipping into the driver s seat you will smell the leather even before you see what a quality job has been done with the interior. From the painted dash to the custom Vintec steering wheel to the custom gauges in front of the steering wheel. This car is impressive from inside out. Powering this beauty down the road is a brand new ZZ383 425HP Chevy crate engine that has some extra goodies put on & into it like a nice race camshaft and high-rise intake manifold. It is paired to a brand new Tremec 5-speed manual transmission that leads in to a 9-inch Ford rear end that spins Strange 3.73 gears giving this baby all the driveability you could ever want. Both the engine & trans have less than 3000 miles on them since their installation. The trans also features a 28lb flywheel & a Lakewood bell housing to help add to the list of Pro s on this car. It features a GT-sport frame, aluminum drive shaft, sway bars, coilover suspension, full 2.5-inch Borla true dual SS exhaust, Vintec Steering wheel with tilt steering column, & drop spindles to lower the car. Helping bring all 425HP to a stop are 4-wheel Wilwood 13-inch drilled & slotted rotors with polished calipers.
