The 64 Impala remains a perennial best-seller, but this particular Imp stands apart. It isnt insanely fast, it doesnt have a show-winning paint job, and it isnt even an SS. However, it has an awesome stance, great patina, and a silky smooth inline-6 that purrs, especially with the slick-shifting manual gearbox. This is an Impala that feels a lot sportier than its Super Sport siblings. Theres enough patina on this Impala for us to believe the paint is original, or at least pretty old. Its not damaged, just aged, and you could take it either way. If it were ours to keep, wed probably go with roughing it up a little more and really committing to the patina. Fortunately, the steel underneath is in great shape and none of the patina includes rust holes or rot and we have to admit that the beige paint works really well. The chrome is in decent shape and the long spear of stainless along the flanks lines up quite well thanks to the cars originality. The two-door sedan body style with the B-pillar gives the doors a substantial feel and the wrap-around rear window is a neat bit of design that you dont notice on flashier cars. This is a subtle car that gets attention for all the right reasons. The interior is also quite original and in good shape overall. The tri-tone upholstery looks stylish and aside from a split in the drivers seat, its nicely preserved. Dark tan carpets anchor the interior and the seats are still firm enough to cruise all day. The instrument panel is stock with just basic gauges for speed and fuel level, and its still cool to see three-on-the-tree shifting in a full-sized car. Youll also note this is a radio-delete car, meaning the guy who bought this didnt splurge on anything which is kind of cool to see these days where even the cheapest cars have all the gadgets. The gauges under the dash are for the freshly installed Air Ride suspension and at some point seat belts were added for safety. The immense trunk has no secrets and thats probably the original mat. Youll also spot the fresh air tank for the suspension neatly tucked on the upper shelf. Yep, thats a 230 cubic inch inline-6 under the hood (remember what we said about no frills on this car). Its torquey and smooth and with the 3-speed manual transmission, its actually a lot of fun and plenty quick. An HEI distributor lights it off almost the instant you turn the key and the fresh exhaust system has a nice 6-cylinder growl that never gets annoying. Maintenance is a snap, the engine is virtually indestructible, and its nicely finished with Chevy Orange paint and a factor-style air cleaner assembly. You know its never been abused, so it should run virtually forever, and its happy on the cheapest gas you can find. The suspension is original aside from the aforementioned Air Ride, and thats what gives it the cool stance as well as a luxury car ride that makes this a fantastic cruiser. Heck, with highway gears out back, this thing even pulls down decent fuel economy. Chrome steelies with baby moon hubcaps add to the lowrider look, as do the 215/70/15 BFGoodrich wide whitewall radials. This is an easy car to like. The price is right, the look gets attention, and its an awesome way to own a cool car without spending a ton of cash. Take it anywhere and watch the attention this cool Imp generates. Call today!... This 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 4-door is a very appealing car that retains all of its 1950s soul. Yes, I know it has four doors, but look closely and youll find an extremely attractive cruiser with room for the whole family and a vintage look that will turn heads everywhere it goes. Any 1956 Chevy is a great-looking car, and this Bel Air 4-door sedan wears the same sparkling trim as its 2-door siblings and wears it well. With twice as many doors, there are twice as many gaps to fit, twice as many doors to align, and two extra panels to sand and straighten, but the guys tasked with this job did it well. This car looks quite attractive in the flesh, with glittering turquoise and white paint that shows off the vintage sheetmetal to great advantage. Theres some use and age on the paint, but a professional buff might bring it up a notch. And the 4-door carries its own cool details, including the way the rear doors invisibly blend with the quarter panel, giving it the look of a sporty 2-door, as well as the decorative stainless trim at the base of the rear windows. This car also offers a lot of chrome and stainless trim that is probably original and a little faded, plus correct taillights that always look like some kind of trick aftermarket pieces. No matter how many doors it has, this is a good-looking car. A four-door like this really shines when its time to hit the road with some friends, with plenty of room for everyone. Turqouise vinyl upholstery helps to uphold the vintage look, and wide benches fore and aft are all-day comfortable. The carpets are new, the doors and kick panels have been reupholstered, and someone has added seat belts along the way. The gauges are original with the lens showing some age and they are joined by a trio of aftermarket gauges hanging under the dash. The original AM radio is still in the dash and it powers up, but that might be where wed start the upgrades in preparation for a road trip. Theres a big trunk, and while its unfinished, you can see that this car is not a rust bucket. The great thing about the small block Chevy is that it remains a usable engine in your vintage car, just the way it was built. This is a 265 cubic inch version topped by an Edlebrock 4-barrel carburetor and performance is still quite entertaining. It still looks quite original and theres a good chance thats original Chevy Orange paint still clinging to the block. Several upgrades make it far more usable and reliable, including a big aluminum radiator, an alternator, and a modern power brake system with dual master cylinder, new lines, and fresh wheel cylinders. Theres still a 2-speed PowerGlide automatic transmission behind it, and it shifts crisply while highway gears make it a comfortable cruiser under any circumstances. The undercarriage isnt detailed but its solid and original, and as I mentioned, those 20-inch IROC replica wheels give it a resto-mod look but this car could go back to stock quite easily if thats your thing. This 56 Chevy Bel Air is a very affordable way to own an icon and with a little elbow grease, it could be something truly remarkable. Call now!... Read more

Tri-Five fans, dont despair, there are still some very nice, drivable Chevys out there looking for new homes. Case in point? This gorgeous 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-door sedan, with an awesome two-tone paint job, a big block V8 under the hood, and a stunning interior that has all the modern conveniences. This one definitely wont last long. A lot of hobbyists think the 1955 Chevys are the best of the bunch, with the purest, least finicky design, and its pretty hard to dispute that claim looking at this 210. The paint job is not quite authentic but using modern paints to give it a brilliant shine and depth, it really works. The soft champagne metallic over cobalt blue combination is simply perfect for getting attention with this slick cruiser, and we have to admit that it looks very sophisticated. The finish was color sanded and buffed to an incredible shine that really shows well in the sun, and the two-tone look definitely works on the simple 210 body style, accentuating the cars very best features. It shows a few signs of age and use, but nothing significant and nothing distracts from the high-quality look. All the original trim was removed, polished, and reinstalled once the paint was dry, and preserves the timeless look of this 55. The bumpers have been rechromed, the grille is in very good condition, and the familiar Soft-Ray glass adds to the hot rod look without distracting you from the vintage vibe. The stunning tan bucket seat interior very nicely done and offers comfort and all the modern conveniences. Tan vinyl with dark blue piping covers both the front and back seats, and the door panels use the same stuff in a custom pattern that definitely shows an artists touch. They retained the original dash, but added digital instruments behind a smoked panel, although the gauges do need some sorting. Theres also a tilt steering column, a billet steering wheel, and a B&M shifter on the floor just ahead of the custom console. Theres a neatly installed AM/FM/cassette stereo in the center of the dash and it uses original-looking knobs to help camouflage the upgrade. An A/C system has been installed with vents under the dash (needs to be serviced), and the trunk has been finished to match. The engine is a thundering 454 cubic inch V8 with a few aftermarket speed parts and enough flash to make it worth opening the hood at the local cruise night. Its a tight fit in there, but it works rather well in the lightweight Bel Air. Its fed by an Edelbrock intake manifold and 4-barrel carburetor, and an MSD ignition system lights it up. Chrome valve covers match the tall air cleaner and accessories, and with a giant aluminum radiator up front it never gets fussy. Block-hugging headers dump into a custom dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers and chrome pipes right under the one-piece California bumper. A TH350 3-speed automatic is the right transmission for a car like this and it drives a GM 10-bolt rear end. Power 4-wheel disc brakes with Wilwood calipers improve safety and it rolls on a set of chrome Ridler wheels wearing staggered 225/45/17 front and 245/45/18 rear Toyo radials. To duplicate this car, youd be well past the asking price before you were done with the paint and chrome, never mind the engine and interior. Theres no denying the appeal of the 55 shape and when theyre priced like this one, they make for a very appealing package. Call us today before this Bel Air slips away.... Read more

Vintage Chevy aficionados . . . take a look! With its exterior dressed in a deep, distinctive shade and looking refreshed from head to toe, this 1965 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Sedan is one vital looking classic. It combines its genuine appearance with big block power under the hood and a road ready running condition thats hard to find in a car of its era. <BR. Bel Airs were in frequent transformation during their early years, but by the time this 65 rolled out as a member of the models sixth generation, they were well established as a favorite among muscle car enthusiasts who enjoyed the spacious cabin and smooth ride of a full size cruiser. The dark green paint it wears is a great take on the color - its much deeper than you normally see and really looks sharp in person - and the collection of exterior fittings on display are all looking very clean, from the grille perched between the pair of twin headlights up front, to the tips of the chrome exhaust tips peeking out just the right amount in back. The body panel alignment looks to be very much on point - Bel Airs of this era featured trim that literally extended from front to back, and the trim here looks straight as a table as it runs from front fender to door to rear quarter panel. Theres also new badging on all four sides, so this vintage Chevy really cuts a strong appearance. Whether by very attentive care or some well-planned freshening up over the years, the green interior remains in its factory configuration and really looks strong. The bench seating in both front and back features a tuck and roll pattern on vinyl covers that show no marked creasing as they sit over plenty of comfort padding. The Bel Airs generous proportions translate into plenty of interior room, so your backseat passengers can really stretch out and get comfortable, while the white-balled shifter within easy reach of the front seat serves as a reminder that this Chevy is very much about vintage performance as well. The sizable original steering wheel sits on a tilt column and the dash area just in front of it looks very clean- the gauges are all clear and functional and its black steel surfaces remain nice and smooth. The spacious trunk area in back looks to be in solid shape as well. Climb behind the wheel and youll have plenty of power at your disposal via the strong big block underneath the hood. Originally sporting 396 cubic inches of displacement, its been bored out to add a few more and features both a 4-barrel Holley carb and an Edelbrock intake to up its performance game. An HEI ignition has also been added to provide the spark to take maximum advantage of all that power. The engine has been dressed up with a chrome air cleaner and valve covers, while the stock exhaust manifolds remain in place to provide a nice, deep note out of the tailpipes. The enhanced 396 pairs with a 4 speed manual transmission to put maximum control in the drivers hands. This iconic cruiser patrols the asphalt on a set of 15 steel wheels with Chevy branded hubcaps that are wrapped with Cooper Cobra tires. This 1965 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Sedan is a great representative of its model and, with its ready to roll condition would be quite a score for the classic enthusiast eager to get the good times on the boulevard started right away. This 1968 Chevrolet Bel Air sedan is one of those cars that just shouldnt exist today. First of all, when was the last time you saw a 1968 Bel Air of any kind? Secondly, its a 4-door sedan, which typically got used up and tossed. But it sure looks like someone loved this car and today it represents an offbeat, affordable way to get a heavy Chevy thats going to make everyone wonder where its been hiding all these years. With just a single repaint, the big Bel Air looks like pure 1960s cool in basic white. They added a little pearl to the fresh finish, so it glows in the sun but doesnt get too obvious about it. Chevy cranked out these cars by the hundreds of thousands, but honestly, when was the last time you saw a Bel Air 4-door? Thanks to both sentiment and careful storage, this one remains extremely well-preserved. The paint was done several years ago and even with the pearl, it has a lovely soft shine that could almost convince you that its original paint. All four doors fit neatly, and those massive rear quarter panels were not bruised and abused, but were professionally blocked and are now quite straight. All the chrome and stainless is original, and its exceptional from the grille to the Bel Air script and logo on the front fenders. No frills, just a clean, straight old Chevy that will bring back great memories for anyone who was there at the time. The black interior is almost entirely new, which couldnt have been an inexpensive undertaking. Wide bench seats were the norm in 4-door sedans, and there are thousands of enthusiasts, if not millions, who recall family vacations in cars just like this. And really, the car is incredibly nice. The textured inserts look appropriate, so unless youre an expert, youd never know they were replaced, and the vinyl portions show virtually zero wear or evidence of the passage of time. Factory gauges are still in good order, although they only monitor the basics, and even the original AM radio remains in the dash although theres a modern AM/FM/CD stereo installed underneath, complete with new speakers and a subwoofer in the trunk. Factory A/C blows cold, making this an awesome road trip car, especially with the massive trunk thats been fully carpeted for a very tidy look. For power, this Bel Air got Chevys erstwhile 307 cubic inch V8, which was cosmetically freshened but never opened. It starts easily and runs with that special smoothness reserved for original machines, and theres nothing that has been upgraded or modified from original spec. Under the chrome air cleaner, theres a factory 2-barrel carburetor, and aside from an MSD coil and long-tube headers, its quite stock. Theres a lot of polished dress-up and the inner fenders and firewall were repainted with the rest of the car, so they provide an awesome background for the shiny engine. The chassis is shockingly clean but you can also plainly see that it was never undercoated, never driven through snow and slush, and retains all its original gear, including the PowerGlide automatic transmission and 10-bolt rear end. A dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers gives it a traditional performance sound and the 15-inch Rally wheels add a sporty flair. Unusual and very well sorted, this is a great car for the guy who likes something a little unusual thats still a lot of fun to drive. Better still, bring the whole family along and have a great time together. Call today!... Read more

As the middle child of the Tri-Five Chevys, we get fewer 1956 Bel Airs than 55s and 57s. Why this is, I cant say, but it does mean that when an ultra-nice 56 Bel Air convertible like this shows up everyone takes notice. With a frame-off restoration, awesome colors, and that famous small block V8, it looks and drives like Americas favorite collector car. This car has had a cost-no-object frame-off restoration, which will give you a very good idea of how nice it truly is. It wears new paint, of course, and it accurately duplicates the original Crocus Yellow over Onyx Black paint scheme it wore on the showroom floor in 1956. The sheetmetal is straight enough to wear black paint easily, with fit and finish that are worth of this cars high-profile look and A-rated collectable status. The doors open and close the way only a solid, original cars door can, and since this car has practically been restored down to the molecular level theres a spectacular shine to the finish. All the trim is fully restored, as are the bumpers, which probably cost as much as a college education to restore. Accessory fender skirts and a continental kit make it look long and low, and if youre going to have a high-profile Chevy convertible, you may as well get one loaded with goodies. The two-tone interior was restored to factory specs while they had it apart for paint, and the results are impressive. The funky materials they used back then were a joyous tribute to the optimistic 50s and theyre accurately replicated inside this convertible, making it a great place to spend some time. Correct door panels echo the exterior styling with the swooping armrest inserts and the bright trim band that runs across the dash glitters like jewelry against the black instrument panel. Out of respect for the original design, the factory AM radio still lives in the dash and its fully operational. The gauges were likewise restored and show bright printing on a black background, and there are exactly zero deviations from stock. Theres also a brand new black convertible top with new top cylinders and pump, and our photo shoot was probably the first time it had ever been down because it has zero wrinkles. Finally, the trunk is finished as original, with a reproduction rubber mat and correct jack assembly (the spare tire lives in the continental kit, as it should). To make this Bel Air the ultimate 50s cruiser, theres a correct 265 cubic inch V8 under the hood, fully rebuilt and detailed for show. Thanks to the Power Pack option, it has a 4-barrel carburetor and dual exhaust for a bit more horsepower, and with power steering and power brakes, its as easy to drive as a modern car. Correct hardware, fasteners, and clamps make for a show-ready presentation and theyve even included all the original-style tags and decals. The 2-speed PowerGlide automatic transmission shifts properly and feeds the original rear end with highway-friendly gears inside. A brand new dual exhaust system with glasspack-style mufflers has the right rumble without being obnoxious, and you can see what a clean car this is just by glancing at the chassis photos. Four steel wheels with wire hubcaps and proper wide whites give it a classic look and an OEM feel. Beautifully finished, with all the original parts that were already in excellent shape expertly preserved, this is a high-end Bel Air thats ready to travel or show anywhere. Call today!... Read more

This amazing 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-door sedan is one of those cars that already has all the right ingredients. Big horsepower stroker motor? Yep. Overdrive transmission? Of course. Gorgeous interior with all the upgrades? What did you expect? And its so nice that youll want to drive it everywhere you go. Bright pastels like the Twilight Turquoise and India Ivory combination on this car never look wrong, but on this cool coupe, its downright spectacular, especially rendered in modern two-stage urethane. The two-tone combination emphasizes the chrome and trim, all of which remain intact on this mild custom, and all of it has been restored to a high standard. All the body panels are straight, and the reflections in our photo studio are proof enough that someone invested the time and effort to make this one look right. All the things that make these cars great also make them a challenge to restore; if your panels dont align correctly, youre going to see it in mismatched trim. It all works together making a car that will get attract attention at first glance, but really needs extended study to see just how nicely done it really is. They didnt shave, delete, or modify any of the exterior pieces, but you know instantly that this car is special, which is a testament to the workmanship. There are a few signs of use and age, but rolling into a show driving this car is going to cause quite a stir. The completely restored interior is a big step up from 1956, and offers all the comforts and conveniences of a modern luxury car with all the style of 1956. Seriously, is there anyone who thinks they can do a better job than the GM stylists? The factory bench seat is wrapped in beautiful turquoise and white upholstery that comes right out of the 1956 factory brochure; well, OK, not exactly, but it has the right look and the right materials. Blue carpets add some contrast and the dash retains a factory look, complete with modern gauges from Dakota Digital that slot right into the original gauge pod. The floor-mounted shifter falls easily to hand and youll be delighted to note that its linked to a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission, making this Bel Air an effortless high-speed cruiser. A polished tilt column holds a neat small-diameter wheel that looks like the original and a powerful entertainment system fills the car with sound thanks to a set of trunk-mounted subwoofers. And speaking of the trunk, its simply finished with a tailored carpet to give it a clean, uncluttered look. You cant make a car look this good and not have it perform, so a built 383 cubic inch small block Chevy V8 went under the hood. Famous for making great torque, the engine is happy trundling through traffic or hammering down the interstate. The list of hardware is impressive, including an upgraded camshaft, stroker crank, ported double-hump heads, and a 4-barrel carburetor on an aluminum intake. It never gets fussy, idles well, and delivers instant power with a just quick prod of the throttle. Its also extremely well detailed, with neat wiring and plumbing, a lot of chrome and billet aluminum, plus Chevy Orange paint on the block. Long-tube headers feed a Flowmaster exhaust and a 10-bolt out back plants the power thanks to a 3.55-geared limited slip inside. 4-wheel disc brakes give it the stopping power of a modern car and it rides on Budnik wheels wearing 235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear performance radials. This is a car that you can drive anywhere with confidence, and it will still draw a crowd anywhere it goes. Call today!... Read more

Dazzling in bright orange metallic paint with a powerful and reliable 350 V8 under the hood, this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air has been built to show, yet drives like a modern muscle car. Tastefully modified, it retains all the styling cues that make the 57s so iconic, but done to standards they just couldnt have imagined when it was built. You can see from the reflections in our photo booth that there are no ripples or waves in the panels, even the big ones like the doors and quarters. Gaps are excellent, and theres something about the way the doors close on cars of this vintage that you cant find anywhere today. Its a solid, precise feeling that suggests the engineers were at the top of their game when they designed these cars. And that orange paint practically vibrates in the sun its so bright. With that lowered stance, it almost looks chopped or sectioned, but I assure you that its 100% as the General intended; its just the awesome workmanship that makes it look so incredible. All the chrome and stainless is in good shape, too, from the big grille with chrome Dagmars to the beautifully polished stainless on the flanks and around the windows. Its got some age on it, but nothing serious and nobody will ever notice the little flaws simply because the overall effect is so jaw-dropping. The interior more than lives up to the promises made by the body. Although it looks totally custom, those are factory seat frames wrapped in custom vinyl and cloth upholstery that neatly disguises the factory stuff, and like the paint, it has been done to an extremely high standard. The door panels have been upholstered to match the seats and everything else was painted to match the bodywork. The original dashboard has been retained and restored, and even the modern AM/FM/cassette radio looks like the 1957 version. A tilt steering column was cleverly added and painted to hide in plain sight, and the custom steering wheel is simply beautiful. Other features include heat and A/C (needs to be serviced), power windows, and a nicely finished trunk that looks just as trick as the rest of the interior. Power comes from a 350 cubic inch crate motor that looks right at home in the Bel Airs engine bay. That billet air filter feeds a Carter 4-barrel carb, and the aluminum valve covers sit atop a set of center-bolt heads. All the power accessories youd expect are included, from the A/C to the power steering and 4-wheel power disc brakes, making this a car that is daily-driver reliable and show car beautiful. Underneath, the chassis is nicely finished in black with gray floors, with a big front sway bar, a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission, and a 10-bolt rear end hanging on leaf springs. A custom-made dual exhaust system gives it just the right rumble, and traditional American Racing Torque Thrust wheels carry staggered 215/50/17 front and 255/45/17 rear performance radials. This is an exceptional 57 with a build that could not possibly be duplicated for the asking price. Best of all, its a no-compromises car that is reliable enough to drive every day and beautiful enough to take home trophies. Call today!... Read more
