This absolutely astounding 1933 Ford roadster invites all kinds of speculation, but the biggest thought that hits everyone who sees it is that there are definitely new ways to make an old favorite look fresh. The body is by Factory 5, who have expanded their Cobra-building enterprise into hot rods with the same attention to detail and meticulous quality controls. With traditional roadster proportions and a wicked stance, this gorgeous Ford definitely has the right hot rod look, but adding those flowing fenders gives it an entirely different profile that changes the game. Expertly finished to an excellent standard, it wears two-tone green paint that seems to glow from within and gives the car a very expensive, upscale vibe. Fit and finish are quite good, particularly the suicide doors that fit flush and the trick tilting hood that flips forward on hidden hinges. The classic pointed 33 Ford grille shell was raked back a few degrees to make it even longer, lower, and sleeker, and the fully enclosed bodywork adds a functional element that a lot of builders would overlook but which looks totally right. The headlights tuck in tight to the bodywork, there are faired-in LEDs out back, and as I said, the fenders make it look like nothing else on the road. Using Cobra-style buckets gives the interior a racy attitude that doesnt betray the roots of the hot rodder tradition. They also allow tall folks to get comfortable behind the wheel and with race-style belts, you definitely feel like youre driving something that can get you in trouble. Beautiful details like the custom 3-spoke steering wheel, the color-matched panel with white-faced Auto Meter gauges in it, and the 5-speed manual shifter sitting in a custom center console suggest that someone took their time to get the styling exactly right. Theres a custom AM/FM/CD stereo in the center stack, but if youre doing it right, youll never listen to it because youll be having too much fun. There is no top, but a good-sized trunk is included, and its finished with black carpets and an Optima battery As a Factory 5 project, this one uses tried-and-true Mustang 5.0 components, starting with a rebuilt 5.0 from a 1988 Ford Mustang GT. Rebuilt internally to stock Ford specs, it carries a Holley carburetor and aluminum intake manifold, along with an upgraded ignition system. Its a neat fit in there, but since its factory-engineered to fit, its worlds more competent than any home-built rod would be. The suspension uses wishbones, inboard coil-overs, and rack-and-pinion steering up front, while a familiar Ford 8.8-inch rear axle from a 1994 Mustang hangs on a 3-link setup, and with 2.73 gears inside, its a serious highway hauler. There are disc brakes at all four corners and the stainless exhaust system sounds spectacular with mufflers AND resonators. Staggered aluminum wheels with brushed centers look awesome and wear a set of big-n-little Michelin radials. Not only is this car beautifully built and finished, but its also fully engineered and shockingly fast. If you want a practical, useful rod that you can drive anywhere, there arent many that can compare to this. Call today!... Read more

Daring to be different is great, especially if the different is as good looking as this 1939 Dodge 4-door sedan. With a sleek aerodynamic look, wonderful art-deco styling details, and modern V8 horsepower, its one of those awesome rods that will stand out just by virtue of being something other than a Ford. The bright red paint certainly helps this one grab everyones attention, but its the detailing that will make them look closer. The sleek Dodge sedan has a unique look that was similar to the fastback styling from the other automakers, but the long wheelbase and sleek tail section make it look far more radical than most. Finish quality is quite good, with nice body gaps and a bright shine that can only come from a lot of time invested in buffing and polishing the final finish. Most of the original trim was retained, and it really sparkles against that Torch Red paint. Were particularly fond of the front end, which offers neat details like the dipped front bumper, familiar ram hood ornament, and a very cool grille that seems to reach back to the firewall. Add in a host of vents, speed lines, and stainless trim, and the whole car seems to be in motion like one of those old paintings showing cars at speed. We love the split rear window and it appears that the only notable items that arent stock are the LED taillights, which are shaped like those on a 39 Ford. And it is worth noting that its entirely steel except for the rear fenders, which is important to a lot of rodders. The handsome tan leather interior was finished three years ago and still looks great. Up front you get a pair of power bucket seats from a late-model, while the back seat appears to be borrowed from the same car. New carpets, simple perforated leather door panels, and a custom center console all add to the new car feel. The original dash has been upgraded with a set of very trick Dolphin gauges with green faces, and the 9886 miles shown are since the build was completed. Under the dash there are vents for the A/C system as well as a few secondary controls, while the AM/FM/CD head unit is discreetly tucked into the center console. A B&M shifter on the transmission tunnel manages a 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission and the tilt column is topped by a fat 4-spoke wheel. And the whole reason you buy a sedan is so you can take the whole family with you, and the giant fully upholstered trunk makes it easy. A familiar 350 cubic inch Chevrolet V8 lives under the pointed hood and it was rebuilt to stock specs when the car was built. Its got some chrome dress-up pieces, a polished intake, and a big 4-barrel carburetor, all of which work together to make it run great and look cool. A big aluminum radiator and R134a refrigerant in the A/C system (needs to be recharged) make it a trusted highway cruiser for long hauls and service access is pretty good. Power front disc brakes and power steering come complements of a Camaro subframe and the dual Flowmasters give it a wonderfully mellow exhaust note. A 10-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears inside makes the car feel lively around town, but theyre easily tamed by the overdrive gear in the transmission. Its got just the right rake, augmented by a set of flashy Ridlr wheels and 17-inch performance radials. Nicely documented with receipts and build photos, this handsome Dodge stands out both in terms of quality and rarity. Why do what everyone else is doing when the alternative looks this good? A 1934 Ford is one of the most sought after classic cars on the market today and I have a nice one up for sale. This 1934 Ford 4 Door Sedan was built in 1983 by Old Time Rod Works but it has been garage keep and looks great to have been restored 34 years. We were told the engine was a 350 that came out of a early 70s Corvette but I have not run the numbers. It has Corvette Valve covers on it. I do know it runs out great. It has an Eldebrock Intake with a Quadrajet carb. It has 2 Electric Fans so you can run the working Vintage A/C system and the engine will not run hot. The transmission is a 700R4 and shifts out smooth and has a Transmission cooler mounted under the car. You can hit the hwy and run 75 all day long. The body is Steel but the fenders are fiberglass. The body is very solid and the paint, even after 34 years, still looks good. It has some small blemishes and is not perfect but it shows well. The interior is brand new done in real leather and it looks amazing. Both seats, all door panels and headliner are real leather. The front seat is power. Over $9000 was just spent on this interior. It has tilt steering. The front windshield still pushes out like it should. All the lights works and even the dash lights work so you can see at night. All the gauges work as do the wipers. It has an AM/FM Cassette player with a power antenna. All the glass looks good. There is a very small crack right at the bottom of the drivers windows but you can barely see it. The bumpers look good as does the Grille. It has a luggage rack on the back. The Red wire spoke wheels really set this 1934 Ford off. This is a beautiful car that runs, drives and feels like a streetrod should feel.... Read more

Here is a very nice, all new 1928 Ford Model A sedan. This car was built right. It has a 327 engine as I was told by previous owner and it runs great. It has headers with dual exhaust, electric fan to keep it running cool and a Holley 4 barrel carb. The transmission is a 350 turbo that shifts out like it should. The body is steel and has a nice satin black paint job on it. The gas tank has been moved to the rear. The frame is all new. It has a dropped axle frontend with disc brakes. The rear is a 9 inch Ford with coilover shocks. It is as nice under as it is on top. The interior is a black and red leather material on the seats and door panels. It has black carpet and headliner. This car was built to be big man friendly with plenty of room to drive it and be comfortable. It has a chrome tilt steering column, TPI Tech gauges, a Pioneer Stereo/CD player and Vintage A/C for those hot summer days. All the glass is new and the windows roll up and down good. The windshield still will push out at the bottom. This is a car that you can just look at and tell that alot of pride went into building it. It was not a quick build. Drive this car anywhere.... Here is a beautiful 1940 Ford Deluxe 4 door sedan. It has a great running 59AB flathead engine. This engine runs so smooth. The 3 speed on column shifts good and the clutch feels good with no chattering. It starts easy even after sitting and when weather is cold. It is still on the 6 volt system. The body is super solid and the Burgandy paint looks very good. All the chrome is nice. The piece of chrome that goes down the hood has some pitting but this piece is hard to find and not bad enough worry about. The wide whitewall tires set this car off and even has a matching spare in the trunk. The trunk area look good. The gray interior is also in stunning condition. The seats, carpet, door panels and headliner all in A-1 condition. The original gauges all appear to be working. The wipers have been converted to electric and work good. The passenger left side door glass does have a crack but it is flat glass so not expensive to replace if you so desired. The windows roll up and down good. The doors all close good. This is just a good running and driving 1940 Ford Sedan ready to be enjoyed.... Read more

The Ford Woodie (or Woody) Wagon is an iconic American treasure associated with The Beach Boys and Surfing. Since the initial debut of the Ford factory built wagon, Ford was the leader in the station wagon market and in 1940 Ford produced the only wagon on the market with a V-8 engine under the hood. The craftsmanship that went into building these wagons is legendary, and the outstanding styling of the 1940 models has kept this particular version of the woody at the top of the list for collectors for decades. Woodie wagons were never produced in great quantities and the attrition rates were high due to their utilitarian use. When they gained huge popularity in the 60s as surfer wagons, the trend for modifying them as hot rods was launched and today, most of the ones that have survived have been modified. This Ford Deluxe wagon is a custom built, ONE OF A KIND, wagon that Ford Motor Company never built, but should have. It is a 2 door wagon. All original early Woodie wagons were 4 door cars. The last ford Woodies were 2 door wagons. There were only 8730 original 1940 Ford Woodies built. You are looking at one of the most beautiful, custom built, 1940 Ford 2 door Woodie Wagons you will ever lay your eyes on! This is a ONE OF A KIND car with a Hand Made, Maple Body, built by Jody at Cowboy Customs in South Carolina. Cowboy Customs has built about half a dozen of his Custom wagons. The first one was a 34, then a 36, then a 37 then this 40 and a later 50 Ford and 50 Mercury like the 50 Mercury model that Hot Wheels built as a model. This Woodie is powered by a new 350 Chevy crate engine and a 700R4 automatic Overdrive Transmission! This beauty offers these power options, power steering, power drivers seat, power disc brakes, power windows, and power door locks to keep the suicide doors secure when driving down the road. This iconic beauty has cold Air conditioning, tinted windows, a Kenwood Am/FM CD player, American Racing Wheels and BF Goodrich Tires!! It has been built about 6 years and has been driven only a little over 6,000 miles since being built. I purchased this beauty from the builder. When he built the car, he finished it in Black. Im just not a black car fan, so I had him disassemble it and repaint it in a gorgeous red color that it is today. You can own this awesome ONE OF A KIND beauty for only $60,000 which I feel is very fair for a ONE OF A KIND custom built vehicle like this one in the condition this gorgeous beauty is in. I have full documentation on the build with plenty of photos. If you do not particularly like this one, the builder can build you one to your specs. He has built a 34, a 36, a 37 and this 40 Ford Woodie. I am considering having him build a 1941 Lincoln Continental Woodie wagon in the near future. I might consider a possible trade, what do you have? What are you looking for? Lets talk!!! I sure would love to make this Classic yours. What can I do to make that happen? If this Classic is the vehicle of your dreams then the best time to buy it is BEFORE someone else does. NOW is the time. You are looking at a super rare 1941 Oldsmobile 98 4 door convertible Sedan. This is a solid car with very minor rust that has been in the same family since the early 60s. The present owner started doing a brake job to it about 10 years ago and it has been setting on jack stands covered up ever since then. He has collected a lot of new old stock parts for the car, many of them were not really needed, but he has them anyway. There were only 125 of these beautiful cars built of which 6 were shipped outside the country. The Mercedes SL is one of the most iconic cars ever produced. This generation of SL (known by their Mercedes internal designation number 107 ) is a very hot on the collector market. With a timeless design and world famous build quality, the cars never lost their attraction. This particular car is finished in a beautiful and rare Dunkelblau dark blue metallic blue with Dattel rich tan leather interior. It is powered by the famous 2.8 Liter twin cam engine developing 185 HP. It is backed a 5 speed transmission which was a rare option. Mercedes-Benz Enthusiast who know this generation of 280sl considered to be one of the best if not the best driving SL of the series. The alloy straight 6 engine makes the front end of the car lighter than her V8 sisters which gives sporty handling and created a better balanced car. This twin cam design put out more horsepower than any of the US market V8 powered SLs save the 5.5 liter 560SL. The 5-speed manual transmission, which was very rare even in th 280s, provides good acceleration and exceptional high-speed cruising ability all while providing much better fuel economy than the V8 cars. The straight six is also much easier to live with than the V8s. While all of the SL engines are know for their durability the straight six is much cheaper to keep than the V8s which require more maintenance especially now that they are 30 + years old. It was delivered new in Germany and imported to the US by its first owner. We have the original paperwork and years of service history to document the low mileage and factory equipment options. The body is in great rust free condition with fantastic paint and an a new looking interior. It runs and drives like you would expect. Of course it also has the factory hardtop. The engine compartment is clean, correct and tidy. It is equipped with factory air conditioning which is rare in a 280SL. Another advantage the 280 had over the US market cars is anti-lock brakes which did not make its US debut until they equipped the 1986 560SL. If you are in the market for one of these rapidly appreciating mechanical wonders and want to stand out from the crowd of red 560SL then this gorgeous blue and tan 5-speed SL is the car for you.
