Rarely do vehicles we sell come out so lopsided in favor of the buyer, but the truth is, you couldnt duplicate this 1983 Chevy pickup with a budget three times bigger than the asking price. Cool two-tone paint, a custom interior, and plenty of V8 power mean that this truck still has what it takes to get noticed on Saturday night. You can count me as one of those folks who like the look of the short bed on a regular cab pickup because the proportions are almost ideal. Of course, this truck is done hauling stuff, but with the slammed stance and two-tone paint job, it looks about a mile long and thanks to a sizeable pile of cash going into the paint a few years ago, it looks fantastic. Super straight bodywork is completely stock save for the rear roll pan but it sure looks trick. Once everything was blocked and straight, it received a few coats of copper and black urethane, a blue pinstripe between them, and enough clear to make it all shine. In the following years, it was driven, shown, and enjoyed, but even so it looks quite good out in the sun. A blacked-out grille gives the front end a sleek look and the bed is protected with a spray-in bedliner, so it still works as a truck. Looks cool and practical? Win! You know that a truck this dramatic on the outside needs to be special inside, and it doesnt disappoint. A custom black seat cover on the bench seat looks up-to-date and features Chevy Bowtie emblems to tie it together. Its comfortable enough to live in all day and looks great with only minor signs of use. The original dash is full of original instruments and theyre joined by a tach on top of the dash and the usual trio of auxiliary dials underneath. Very cool custom door panesl blend in with the rest of the interior and youll note that this truck carries options like power windows and a tilt steering column, meaning that its very user-friendly today. Theres a modern AM/FM/CD head unit in the dash, which delivers sound to a bevy of speakers throughout the truck. It also has a sliding rear window, which is great for ventilation and tinted glass helps with temperatures and the cool factor. Following the sizzling paint and eyeball-popping interior, the 350 cubic inch V8 under the hood seems rather ordinary. However, you shouldnt underestimate it, as it carries an Edelbrock Air Gap intake and Holley carburetor, World Products cylinder heads, MSD ignition, long-tube headers, and a little bit of chrome. For a truck like this, its important for it to have the power to back up the look. Even so, it starts easily, idles well, and moves the slammed pickup with ease, all with a great V8 soundtrack from the twin pipes exiting together under the tailgate. A TH350 3-speed automatic transmission powers the original rear end, and the incredible in-the-weeds stance looks cool without an abusive ride. Its quite clean underneath, the Flowmaster mufflers sound great, and 15-inch Vision Legend wheels carry staggered 255/60/15 front and 275/60/15 rear performance radials. This is a whole heck of a lot of custom truck for the price of a 5-year-old Hyundai. If its attention you crave, this truck will deliver in a very big way. Call today!
Huge big block power, overdrive transmission, an A/C interior, and its all wrapped around a slick red body that carries the best of old school and new school looks. So yes, this 1983 Chevrolet C10 Scottsdale really has it all. Classic truck guys remember Dodges Lil Red Express, and this custom build is what Chevys answer would have been. After all, the bold red paint gives a serious aggressive attitude to the bow ties blocky sheet metal. The bright bumpers, billet grille, and mirror-like Chevy lettering on the tailgate add even more flair. You can tell this is true street machine by the upgrades like the cowl hood, wide exhaust pipes on each side, and the large 20-inch Ridler wheels. But it also never loses its roots. This has that great classic truck charm with the traditional stepside bed that allows for a real-wood bed floor. And since the oak they used to upgrade this looked so good, they also added glossy side rails from the same lumber! Inside is more of the custom red attitude. It starts with a bench seat that has a nice pattern to give extra individual bolstering to the driver. Plus, this generation Chevy truck was great about giving the driver a sports car-like wraparound dash. So youll slip behind the upgraded Grant wood-rimmed steering wheel, and its an easy reach to everything, including the AM/FM/cassette stereo. Youll love opening the vent window and sliding the rear glass to get the old school truck breezes. And on any day those are too warm, you have cold-blowing R134a air conditioning to keep you comfortable. When you open the hood, you know this truck doesnt mess around. Theres a 454 cubic-inch big block filling in the fender walls. It looks great with a glossy presentation and plenty of high performance stickers. And more than just have the logos for upgrades, this big V8 is enhanced further with go-fast goodies like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intakes, and long tube headers that feed the growling side pipes. This is a big power machine, but theres much more to the build. For example, you have a large radiator w/electric fan to help keep this running cool even if youre in traffic and running the A/C. Plus, this was upgraded with a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission that can handle all the big power while also providing overdrive comfort. Starting to get the full picture? This is a fine any time machine, and the power steering, dual fuel tanks, and front disc brakes add to this appeal. This truck is a cool custom creation with all the right upgrades. When you want to look distinctively original without giving up creature comforts, its time for this 1983 Chevrolet C10. It combines classic truck styling with a loaded A/C interior and plenty of power from its small block V8 all at a great price. You often see these Chevys in black and red. Those are great colors we love, but this green just has some extra distinction. As far as the rest of the pickup goes, its set up for those of you who want truck nostalgia. The slab-sided design of these Chevys instantly conveyed their sturdiness, so nothing needed to be added. Its even still riding on the correct Rally wheels. And while the chrome bumpers and all the trim look great, dont be afraid to use this classic like a real truck. The hitch ball on the bumper and liner paint in the bed are exactly what you need to get the job done. Inside is a well-done interior that starts with a comfortable cloth bench seat. Carpets, door panels, and the dash pad all coordinate in nice shades of gray. A truck purchased for work usually comes with bare bones equipment, so this Chevys long list of options points at a more comfortable life. It includes power windows, power locks, and cruise control. Theres even factory air conditioning. Plus, the stereo has been upgraded to a modern AM/FM/CD unit with upgraded speakers, too. So its easy to imagine eating away the miles from the drivers seat with the original steering wheel and full set of gauges laid out in front of you. Chevys 305 cubic-inch V8 is one of those great small blocks that fires up nicely, and thanks to the four-barrel carburetor, it swiftly moves this pickup for a lively experience on the road. The engine is legendary for being quite adaptable, but right now this power plant remains charmingly original in the tidy engine bay. In fact, this total presentation (right down to the jack still mounted on the fender) really tells you this truck has lived a well cared for life. Out on the road, its quite comfortable with great driving features such as the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes. Heres a distinct and solid truck with all the right features and a great price. Its exactly what you want, and it will be going home with the first person to grab this deal. Call now!
You can instantly tell this 1983 Chevrolet C10 is far from stock. This pickup has been given a slick exterior, custom A/C interior, and a big block V8 to be your favorite all-around classic. This truck has style. Candyapple Red Metallic is always a great decision when you want flair. But more than just the right color, they really took their time taking prepping and taking panels off for paint. Its an expensive process, but the extra investment means a butter-smooth finish. It has a terrific radiance that goes perfectly with the extra curves of a stepside bed. But take some time to also dive into the details that all come together to make this a stellar total package. For example, the polished wheels and billet grille are instant eye-catchers; the cowl hood gives this some sports car appeal; and the tubular step rails go great with all the other mirror-like brightwork in this truck. Best of all, the stepside was the only way you could get a real wood truck bed in the 80s. So you have a ton of custom appeal without ever losing that classic pickup spirit. While the exterior was all about being bold, the investment inside is about adding custom comfort. It starts with the bench seat getting a custom cover that offers comfy cloth for where you site as well as trim in exterior-matching red. The door panels, dash, carpeting, and even the seatbelts all coordinate with this setup. Youve got nice comfort features like the custom cup holder center console, sliding rear window, AM/FM/cassette stereo, and air conditioning blowing cold with modern R134a. And while this is a nice place to spend some time, upgrades like the Grant GT steering wheel and AutoMeter auxiliary gauges also remind you theres something powerful under the hood. The engine bay is filled with big block power. This dominating V8 has been further enhanced by a large Holley double-pumper four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum hi-rise intake, and headers feeding an intimidatingly wicked dual exhaust. Because this custom truck likes to balance its power with comfort, you can easily enjoy this big block Chevy out on the road thanks to the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes. Bold, comfortable, and soooo powerful this is a terrific custom truck thats just itching to hit the streets. So dont miss your chance, call today!

LS Swapped! 1983 Chevrolet C-10 to K20 Conversion. Silverado Package. PDL, PW, PS etc. This truck was built as a Resto-Mod. Meaning it’s period correct to look at. I wanted it to look as if someone bought it in 1983, and took it straight to an off-road shop to have it lifted and bigger wheels and tires put on it. The difference is it has an LS Powerplant with an overdrive trans so it drives like a later model truck. Truck was originally 2 Wheel Drive. Converted to 4 Wheel Drive by putting body on a cut down LWB 4x4 frame. It is all original sheet metal to this truck other than the header panel in the bed. It was replaced since the old one was bent toward the cab after years of use. Frame was power washed and painted semi-gloss black before the body went on. New body mounts 4” Pro Comp Lift 35” Tires Painted in 2015 with 2002 Trans Am Navy Blue Effect. All new lights after paint. Headlights, turn signals, brake lights. New Chrome body trim, wheel trim, grill, grill trim, head light buckets, etc. Door handles and front bumper are original to the truck. I cleaned them up. Rear bumper is from a K5 blazer from the same time period. Bed was sprayed with bed liner while at paint shop. 8 lug axles from a suburban, rear is a semi-floater. Front was completely rebuilt before being installed It has a 5.3L LM7 from an ’01 Yukon under the hood. Pop the hood and it looks like a late model truck, except for the engine being painted Chevrolet orange. I wanted the engine to have a throwback look. Engine has ZL1 Camaro exhaust manifolds (no cutting the frame to get manifolds to fit) and two Cats per side. New fuel tank from a ’87 model with a ’96 model in tank fuel pump. I tried to use factory parts so it’s easier to find them later. 4L60e overdrive transmission from same Yukon Has an NP208 transfer case with an advanced adapter tone ring for the VSS signal to the computer. Computer is mounted to the fender. Truck has an OBD2 port under the dash, so you can tune, and diagnose just like a late model truck. Dash pad cover over original dash. Original bench seat was recovered with a period correct velour. New Carpet kit was installed. Headliner was recovered. All new rubbers: Windshield, back glass, door window channels, door weather stripping, even the quarter windows were completely rebuilt. Things it Needs, aka “the bad”: A/C. I have the compressor Bolt extracted in front diff driveshaft yoke 2 Wheel studs need to be replaced. One is cross-threaded, the other I can’t get the lug nut to go on. Air filter. Right now it just has the MAF on the intake tube. Sun visors recovered and reinstalled. I have them Radio and speakers Power Windows work, but they are slow like most trucks of this age. Flakey windshield wipers. But this truck doesn’t get driven in the rain, so it didn’t matter Door panels are ok. I cleaned them up, but they are far from perfect. The chrome trim is covering a speaker hole left by a previous owner of the door panels. Have new coolant overflow tank I haven’t installed yet. Some of the chrome body trim tries to lift in the corners.Asking $19,500. Call or Text Brent 972-978-0719
