Survivor cars are more and more popular these days and getting harder and harder to find. We have a great one here with this sweet 82 Corvette. All original including the paint, interior, and numbers matching engine. Last of the C3 generation, first on several technological advances like the fiberglass rear spring which is a Corvette standard item now. Come on down and check it out. This car has the beautiful color combination of Silver Blue Metallic with a Dark Blue two-tone. The hood was restyled for 82 and the tapered bulge in it is outlined nicely with the Dark Blue. Changes were made to the nose of the car for better air flow to the radiator and lower aerodynamic drag. The fact that it looks great too is a form following function bonus. The two-tone paint breaks at the mid body line with a medium blue stripe separating the two. A Crossfire Injection badge appears on the front fender. Removable glass T-roof sections store in their own bags and make for some nice open-air motoring when you wish. The rear bumper was restyled along with the front for better air flow too. Corvette appears in script between the taillights and crossed racing flags are on the gas cap as well as the hood. Open the door and you will find a wonderfully preserved, all original interior. The door panel is nicely stitched, tight and clean with just an armrest, door handle and power window switch. The seats are comfortable and supportive with just enough wear to them that they fit like your favorite jeans. A leather wrapped three spoke wheel feels good in your hands, has crossed racing flags on the horn button, and is mounted on a tilt and telescoping column. The dash is super clean with the 37,766 original miles indicated on the odometer on the left with the tach mounted to the right. The center console has a five-gauge cluster mounted just over the original radio. On the floor is the shifter for the automatic transmission and the power window switches with just enough wear to let you know that this is a survivor car, not a restored one. Pop the hood and you will find the Crossfire Injection system that was advertised on the fender, and first appeared in this car. It was comprised of two throttle body fuel injectors combined with a new computer control system. There are lots of recent maintenance receipts that are things you would expect on an older, low mileage car. New belts, fan, new air conditioning compressor and dryer and new valve cover gaskets as well as plugs and wires and a heater control valve. The power flows back through a new (in 1982) 4-speed automatic transmission with lower first and second gears than the old 3-speed for better acceleration, and an overdrive fourth gear for cruising. New in 82 also was an aluminum Dana 44 independent rear suspension differential and crossmember that along with the fiberglass rear spring saved a bunch of weight. New just recently are bushings front and rear along with rear shocks and new brakes all around. The car sits on factory aluminum mags with 255/60R15s all around and just received a 4-wheel alignment. An all original survivor car with maintenance records, the original window sticker, owners manual and warranty card. You should probably come on down and get while the gettins good. This car probably wont stick around long.
Attention true Corvette fans, youre viewing a bright 1982 Chevrolet Corvette with all the right buzzwords you love: Collector Edition, numbers-matching V8, original colors, and a value price. The first thing that strikes you about this coupe is the color. Its an original factory special that seems to sit somewhere between metallic shades of silver and gold like a Champagne celebration. The official Silver Beige name for this hue seems to represent the 1980s perfectly, and its a unique paint that stands out in public nicely, even when parked among other Corvettes at the car show. The darker graphics on the lower doors, pin-striping, and hood define some of the Corvettes most dramatic features. The hatchback profile, deep chin spoiler, and duck-tail end cap all add to the distinctive look that was uniquely Corvette. Besides just looking amazing, this Corvette earns its Special Edition status by being only one of 6,759 commemorative cars built before General Motors shut the books on the C3. The interior is arguably more interesting than the exterior. The metallic leather seat package that was optional on late-C3s is taken one step further with a multi-tone precious metals fade that complements the Silver Beige exterior very well. A similar pattern on the door panels matches the unique buckets, and everything looks like it was cared for by a true Corvette enthusiast. Its loaded with options like power windows, power mirrors, tilt steering column, electric rear defrost, an upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo, and provisions for factory air conditioning. Tinted glass T-tops means you can have an open-air experience with this Corvette. Plus, you can store the roof much easier thanks to the glass hatchback. This rear opening is a feature that should have always been on the late C3s, but this special edition was the only car that got it from the factory. The 1982 drive train was a preview of the new C4 Corvette. The Cross Fire fuel-injected 350 cubic-inch V8, was torquey, powerful, and surprisingly efficient thanks to the 700R4 four-speed automatic overdrive transmission as standard equipment. This is the original motor, and just like the rest of this car, it is refreshingly stock. The offset air cleaner gives it away, but youll be impressed by how tidy everything is and how well-maintained all the vitals are. It fires up readily, makes a fantastic rumble from the dual exhaust, and snaps through the gears with authority. And while features like power steering, cruise control, and overdrive make it a fantastic highway cruiser, this classic is always up to release its wild side. After all, the fully-independent sports suspension and four-wheel disc brakes are part of a great package to enjoy the back roads. When something this distinct, rare, and fun is also quite affordable, you know you need to hurry to grab this Collector Edition Corvette. Call now!

For sale in our Atlanta showroom we are proud to offer a sporty looking 1982 Chevrolet Corvette. 1982 saw the debut of the Cross-Fire Injection fuel delivery system. Compared to the previous Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed, the new 700-R4 transmission had a lower first and second gear for improved low-end acceleration, and a fourth gear overdrive that would reduce engine RPM by 30 percent at highway cruising speeds, resulting in better fuel economy. With very faint pinstripes down the side you will feel like your back in the 80 s when driving this Corvette down to your local car show. 1982 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe The 1982 Collector Edition was the first Corvette with a hatchback rear window, foreshadowing the C4 Corvette. A special color scheme was used inside and out, and Collector Edition badges were featured. The special, exclusive aluminum wheels were designed to look like the optional bolt-on wheels of the 1967 model. The Collector Edition had a 0 in the sixth digit of the VIN rather than the 8 found on standard Corvettes. This was the first Corvette to sell for more than $20,000, with a base price of $22,537.59. The Collector Edition had limited availability and 6,759 were produced out of a 1982 total production of 25,407. This Collector Edition automobile presents in good condition. A few electrical issues that need to be addressed are the operation of the pop-up front headlights, and drivers side electric window functionality. Some paint flaws and minimal scratching show overall, however still running strong this example of only 6,759 produced. Exterior Silver beige paint was the color of every 1982 Collector Edition Corvette produced, and this is no exception. Dark brown curvaceous pinstriping wraps around the passenger compartment and highlights the fenders. The all fiberglass body is in good condition. A tinted glass T top which is removable is scratch free and clear. A hatchback style operable window covers the rear deck. Unique wheels, patterned after the 1967 models bolt on alloys, are also unique to this commemorative edition. Cross-fire injection badging is seen as well on the exterior. Interior Metallic Gold spacesuit style material seating has horizontal multi shade brown hue stripes on the bucket seating. This is mimicked on the door panels, with the lower door panels wrapped in smoked gold carpet. This same carpet in excellent condition is seen throughout the cabin. An early 1980s style rectangular dash has analog instrumentation and appears that the tachometer is not functioning. Another cluster of analog gauges is seen in the center console, which includes the floor shifter between the bucket seats. A padded 3 spoke stock steering wheel fronts the dash and sports the crossed flags corvette logo. Drivetrain A 350ci V8 engine is fueled by the new Cross-Fire Injection which includes 2 throttle bodies combined with Chevrolets computer control system. A new 700 R4 automatic transmission with higher first and second gear, as well as a fourth gear overdrive, increased acceleration and improved fuel economy. The entire engine compartment presents in fair condition. Underside of the car reveals that surface rust is present, and lower arm control bushings need to be replaced. Power disc brakes are on all four wheels A functioning example of a rare commemorative edition Corvette, this car will need some TLC to make it an excellent example. Matching numbers, and all original, an early 80s design C3 package. This car will benefit from having its legs stretched, and a good workout, not unlike a sleepy thoroughbred, which has many races left in it.
1982 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe Once again for 1982, a one year only engine choice, the L-83 cross fire fuel injected engine was avaialble. There were 6,759 collector editions produced in 1982 and the fuel economy was improved due to the injected engine and 4 speed automatic transmission. The 1982 Corvette was the first to break the $20,000 price barrier. Offered for sale is an extremely low mileage...last of the Gen 3 Corvettes. This 1982 gem has just over 27,000 miles and it shows. 1982 Chevrolet Corvette Collector Edition in spectacular and exceptionally original condition with only 60,195 original miles. This car is by far one of the nicest original Collector Edition Corvettes on the market and truly an investment grade C3. The car looks beautiful, runs great, and drives awesome. Virtually everything on the car works including the a/c, check engine light & computer system, power locks, and power antenna. The 1982 Collector Edition has been steadily increasing in value for the past few years and is an excellent investment. There is copy of the Autocheck report on this car pictured below. The report shows no accident history and verifies the low mileage. This Corvette would be an excellent candidate for a NCRS Survivor or Bowtie award.
