A 1977 E150, with power to pass"Good: Windsor 351, 350/75 HP, 400 or so ft.lb.Jasper short track long block, torque cam, good rods, bolts, upgrade bearings, balanced, line bored, the good stuff. Touched up heads, Edelbrock, Holley. Headers, custom exhaust system. Good radio. Good shocks, big bar out back. Gages and pricey seat. Two tanks, a strong cage for safety, holders for two motor cycles. 1976 three speed, 3:72, in a 9 inch rear end. Strong clutch. Very good head lights. Frame mount trailer hitch, and a remote mount oil filter, EXTENSIVE spares. 40 years old, so there is no restriction as to what you do with it, modification wise, no emissions requirement, etc.. Special engine has 40K on it.It can be very graceful through corners due to chassis tweeks and low ctr. of gravity. the box is all air after all, no furry walls or chase lounges, the truck frame is just above the axle line and the engine's center of gravity is 5-6 inches back from the six it replaced. It has a nice set of Hancooks on it. Had to take off the race tyres for legal reasons. The vehicle drives sweet.I just don't use it enough, I crew on race cars and go to the track in their truck. And my town car is barely a car. ) Bad:Needs some TLC. The body is rough, some rust, dents and leaks. Nothing structural. And nothing that can't be put right in short order.
