This is one of the finest examples of a 74 Vette that you will find. It is a low mileage, stock and clean car in its factory correct color and interior. 1974 marked the first year for molded bumpers both front and rear that have become the norm these days, but back then, it was cutting edge stuff. check out this beautiful Stingray. This car is presented in 14L Corvette Silver Metallic. Its not the original coat of paint, but it is the correct and original color, is in excellent condition, and looks fantastic. The molded bumpers were the end result of new governments safety regulations. GMs engineers stepped up once again with a solution that not only met the regulations, but did it in an innovative way that moved the car out of the chrome bumpered 60s and into a new era of beautiful integrated styling. This car was also meant to be driven on a regular basis and even taken on long trips, sometimes being called a touring sportscar . To facilitate that, a nice- looking and functional factory luggage rack is installed between the sail panels. Up front, the one splash of color on the car appears in the Corvette badge on the nose and a cowl induction hood flows back and up from there. Stingray appears of the fenders and the rockers are nicely trimmed out in polished metal. The interior on this car is in excellent condition and believed to be all original. The code 425 Dark Red vinyl is a beautiful compliment to the silver. The high back buckets have textured seating surfaces with smooth bolsters and show a light amount of wear, especially on the drivers seat, as would be expected in an all original interior. A three-spoke steering wheel with the crossed racing flags horn button is mounted on a tilt and telescoping column. A quick flick of the wrist to the right is the shifter for the manual transmission that is begging to be stirred around. The 160 MPH speedometer shows the 48,118 actual miles on the car and the center console holds all the gauges for fuel level, water temp, oil pressure and voltage. The ventilation system includes air conditioning to keep you cool on those hot summer days and was just completely replaced and updated by a Chevrolet dealer. Stingray floormats protect the carpeting and look great doing it. Under the hood is the original, numbers matching, 350 cubic inch L48 engine. It has received good regular maintenance with some recent updates like the air conditioning mentioned previously as well as a new radiator, water pump and all new belts and hoses. The filter housing funnels fresh air from the cowl induction hood into a 4-barrel carburetor. Neat, clean, and stock describes the rest of the engine bay including the power brakes and power steering pump. Power flows back through that 4-speed transmission to the independent rear suspension with its unique transverse leaf spring. Up front a control arm setup with coil springs and a sway bar work together with the rear end to provide the legendary handling characteristics of this car. The 4-wheel disc brakes have also been completely serviced up recently to assure you serious stopping power if you decide to let the horses run. The rubber meets the road through 255/60R15 tires all around mounted on steel wheels with polished trim rings and center caps. This is a beautiful, low mileage, all original, numbers matching car that has had the logical services based on its age already done. Call or come down and check it out.
We all want something special, so you might think that an affordably-priced 1974 Chevrolet Corvette with the right features like the original V8, shining paint, four-speed, and an A/C interior is already a good buy. But what makes it a real standout is that the Danbury Mint and the NCRS actually declared this one a true collectable! White is a timeless color that has an extra special meaning to Corvette people after all, every first-year one was finished in white. But more than just history, this one has the added desirability of a re-application of its factory-correct color that happened in November 2018 yes, its that fresh! Its a professional finish, and so the sunlight really highlights the crisp lines of this C3. And this Stingray really needs to look its best, because youre going to want to showcase it everywhere. Not only was it judged a Top Flight car by NCRS in 2009, but this one was chosen to represent Corvettes for the ages. This is the exact car the Danbury Mint used for to represent their collector model. Its such a cool story that an example of the model car and documentation comes with the sale, too. Averaging less than 1,100 miles annually means this car has led a cherished life, and the interior is further proof. The leather bucket seats look excellent. Not only does the saddle look great against the white exterior, but it also coordinates nicely with the door panels, carpeting, and center console to give you an overall classic youll love. Plus, its loaded with the right period-correct premium features, like the power windows, power locks, AM/FM stereo, and wood-like paneling on the doors and center console. More than just loaded, this is a true drivers machine with a sports steering wheel, large speedo/tach directly in front, full auxiliary readouts prominently in the middle, and a stick shift thats calling out for your right hand. And because the factory air conditioning is blowing nice and cold, youll really enjoy taking out the T-tops long into the summer season. Under the hood is a terrific classic presentation. This one really gets the details correct, right down to the rubber gasket on the air topper that gives you a true cowl induction hood. Even the decals appear original! So on a presentation like this, its great to have the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8. Topped with a four-barrel carburetor, this motor is known for good power and monster torque. You get to control it all thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. In fact, control is exactly what a C3 gives you all-around. After all, with a fully independent suspension, power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes, its one of the of the most capable classics you can get your hands on. The sale not only comes with the NCRS certificate, but also a ton more documentation befitting of a distinguished classic. This includes the original warranty card, reproduction window sticker, owners manual, service manuals, build receipts, and maintenance records. This is a very special car presented correctly. So when something so distinct is also so obtainable, you know it wont stay available for long. Call now!

Fun and affordable weekend adventures is a guarantee with this 1974 Chevrolet Corvette. It will keep you smiling with its T-tops, original 350 V8, and the unmistakable feeling that comes from being behind the wheel of Americas sports car. C3 Corvettes have the look of distinction, and so nobody who sees this car in your driveway will question how affordable it truly is. They will definitely take notice, because the original white was swapped for a bright red a while back. Also, 1974 was a year of added distinction because they debuted of the urethane bumpers front and rear. These gave the C3 an appearance of one long continuous wave, and it made the 74 much more of a designers work of art. But just because this was a more uniform look did not mean this one skipped out on bright work. It just made great features like the Rally wheels and rocker panels much more noticeable. A black interior is always a great complementing color to the red exterior. You can let people see this easily with the T-tops that open you to the world. Plus, you have the choice between glass and color-matched panels (both come with the sale,) so you can even choose to let the sunshine in while being buttoned-up. The original, numbers-matching 350 cubic inch V8 is still providing the power, and it looks quite correct right down to the air topper that fits in the fresh air cowl hood. The trusty small-block fires up on command, and its four-barrel carburetor setup delivers a throaty exhaust note. It has a great throttle response and low-end torque thats delivered in a wallop even from a standstill. The three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and fully independent sports suspension combine to make sure that this classic delivers one of the best all-around driving experiences from the era. Complete with owners manual, this is the bold V8 classic youve always promised yourself. So, if youre quick enough, you can easily own the icon you never thought you could afford.

Original where you want it and upgraded in all the best performance ways, this stick-shift 1974 Chevrolet Corvette is the beautiful classic convertible that has everything you want. So its amazing the price is so affordable. Mille Miglia Red is one of those colors that truly lives up to its name. Classy, sporty, and just perfect for a Stingray - it has plenty of gloss and shine to attract attention on a sunny day drive thanks to a professional respray of the code-76 color. 1974 was the first year for the front and rear bumpers to be fully integrated into the design, which gives the overall look a great flow over the curvy profile. So this car has a unique style that will always be in demand. But even with all of this bright red, it cannot be a true American classic without some brightwork. Thats reserved for places like the rocker panels, luggage rack, and the fully polished Rally wheels now with spinners. While the white convertible top is attractive against the red, when you lower it, theres even more distinction. The factory-correct tan interior is a timeless combination. And those saddle leather bucket seats give you and your passenger a fantastically independent level of comfort. Plus, you have great features like power windows and an upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo. But the best features are reserved just for the driver. Youll love hopping in, grabbing the three-spoke sports steering wheel, and gazing at the deep dual pod speedo and tach as you cruise around in your classic Vette. And the Hurst T-handle shifter is guaranteed to put a big smile on your face. The numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch motor is still providing the power, but all that extra shine is a sign that they made some healthy investments in the original V8. Not only does it look good, but it has go-fast goodies like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, aluminum hi-rise intake, and ceramic coated headers. So you have the distinction of originality, but with a ton more shine and power backing it up. You get complete control over the enhanced V8 and the rumbling dual exhaust soundtrack thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. And this classic was absolutely meant to be driven with its fully independent sport-tuned suspension, power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes. The sale comes complete with the owners manual. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1974 Chevrolet Corvette for purchase. The C3 generation of Corvettes ran from 1968 to 1982, but had some various changes throughout the run of the Stingray. With govt restrictions killing off muscle cars the stingray had to transition to more of a cruiser. A Chevrolet advertisement headlined: "We gave it radials, a quieter ride, guard beams and a nose job." Improvements to body mounts and interior did improve the Corvettes ride and interior noise was reduced by 40%. Today, C3 Corvettes are some of the best buys in the classic automobile world. These cars were incredibly popular and provide a great ride with plenty of available spare parts. Get behind the wheel and have some classic fun in a Stingray! This 74 Corvette Convertible in red with a silver leather interior is an eye catching example of the Stingray legends. It is powered by its healthy and peppy 350 v8 paired with a manual transmission. The current owner has owned the car for the last 37 years. The car handles and performs well and is a blast to drive.
