These second-generation Camaros were longer, lower, and wider than the first gen cars and this 73 was the last year with that beautiful split front bumper before government regulations forced a complete redesign of the front end. This one could be yours. Check it out. The color combination on this car is gorgeous. The Dark Blue paint has a bit of metal flake in the clear coat that isnt immediately obvious, but really catches the light nicely under the lights. Before any of that paint was applied though, the surface was prepped and body panels adjusted so that everything looked tight and right when it was done. Up front, those upgraded chrome split front bumpers look great. From there, the only badge on the car appears on the nose and bold white rally stripes flow up the hood and continue on the trunk running up and over the rear spoiler. The four round taillights are underlined by a sharp looking bumper with chrome exhaust tips peeking out from underneath. The look is kept clean with body colored side mirrors and chrome American Racing alloys complete the look of the car quite nicely. Open the door and you will find a clean and fresh interior that looks new. The long door panels are simple with an embossed pattern in the center with a nice armrest between two large door pockets. The high back buckets have pleated seating surfaces with smooth side bolsters and dont look like anybody has ever sat in them. A deep dish three-spoke steering wheel with a bowtie horn button sits on a tilt column in front of a stock dashboard housing gauges that are spotless with the thin chrome trim around them looking brand new. A factory tach sits to the right of the 130-mph speedometer with the fuel, water temp, and volt gauges flanking them on either side. There is an aftermarket head unit for the FM/iPod compatible stereo for your listening pleasure and a T-handle B&M shifter for the automatic transmission is mounted on the floor. Pop the hood and you will find a healthy 350-cubic inch motor nestled down in a neat and clean engine bay. A black air topper with a bowtie and Chevrolet in orange match the black valve covers that received the same treatment. They both compliment the orange wires that originate at the Mallory distributor and the Chevy Orange of the engine iron while a chrome alternator and radiator support add a splash of flash. An Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor flows into the engine through an Edelbrock intake manifold and out through long tube headers with Flowmaster mufflers which give this car a nice healthy sound. Power flows back through the 3-speed automatic transmission to a 10-bolt rear end mounted on leaf springs. Control arms and coil springs handle things at the front and sway bars both front and rear keep the car cornering flat while 4-wheel disc brakes give you some serious stopping power. The rubber meets the road through 255/60R15s in the back and 215/60R15s in the front mounted on those classic American Racing alloys. Come on down and check out this sweet looking 73 split bumper car with gorgeous paint and a spotless interior. Then take it home and start planning your cruise nights and back road adventures in it.

For sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is this knockout restomod 1973 Chevrolet Camaro. A little over 3 years ago, this car was pulled from a barn and became the subject of a full frame off restoration and modification, with a major emphasis on the modification. The most obvious modifications are the custom wide body kit that allows this 2nd Gen Camaro to tuck 335 cross section tires out back, and 315s up front wrapped around custom E/T wheels. Of course, big sticky tires are only as good as the suspension holding everything else in place. That is why there is Detroit Speed suspension in the front and back to hold everything else in place. To handle bringing things to a quick halt, we have a full Willwood brake system, including 6 piston front and 4 piston rear brake calipers. You are going to need those brakes too, as this car s real party trick lies under the carbon fiber hood. There you will find a fire spitting 6.0L LS motor that has been stroked with new rods and pistons, dart heads, and dyno tuned to make 427hp and 427 lb-ft. of torque. Those massive tires are starting to make some more sense. Backing up that fuel injected beast is a Tremec TKO 600 5 Speed manual, spinning 390 Truetrac gears in a Ford 9 rear end. Inside, you could call this car a mullet, as it is all business in the front, with the party coming from two 10 kicker subwoofers in a custom enclosure that has replaced the rear seat. Upfront is all business, with Cipher race bucket seats and 4 point harnesses, as well as a half cage painted to match. Other great little touches include a carbon fiber spoiler and trunk lid, kindigit door handles, A/C, power steering, and keyless ignition. Get yourself in this Camaro and go! 1973 Chevrolet Camaro beautifully restored as a prime example of a Hot Rod/Pro Touring automobile from a bygone era. Second owner of this vehicle purchased in 1988. Prior to this time the car had only one owner living and working in Universal Studios in California. Acquired the Camaro and over the last three decades have tastefully modified the vehicle. The car was restored for the second time in 2013 and was treated to an amazing paint job. The restoration has less than 500 miles on it. In addition to making the body laser straight the car also received a brand-new interior with racing seats, carpeting, dashboard, and headliner. The chassis is rust free and was mated to a completely refurbished front end. All chassis, suspension components, and brakes are brand-new. Since that time, have shown the car in several local car shows prior to this year. The car is deserving of all the compliments and smiles it receives at any event. There are also a few trophies which the car has won. It is powered by a Chevrolet 383 race balanced and blueprinted stroker motor with all Lunati components. As you can see from the pictures below it is supercharged via a Weiand blower with a 9 pound pulley. At full boost this engine produces approximately 650 hp. The transmission is a heavily modified TH 350 automatic with a 3500 stall converter. The fuel system is completely brand-new with a Jazz fuel-cell. All components such as the trunk and 6 point roll-bar have either been painted or powder coated to enhance the beauty of this vehicle.
