Jeep invented the personal 4x4, Ford made it popular, and trucks like this 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer perfected the breed. Blending just the right amounts of go-anywhere truck durability with creature comforts and practicality, the Blazer was a mainstay of popular automotive culture for decades, and few are better suited to that legacy than this nicely restored 4x4. The handsome Medium Olive paint was applied just a few years ago and still looks good on the Blazers squared-off body lines. Theres plenty of Chevy pickup truck DNA in there, but who can argue with the result when it looks this good? The proportions are ideal for a big yet personal SUV, and with the removable white fiberglass hardtop, its fairly easy to transform it into a fun-in-the-sun machine for a day at the beach. The idea of having fun in this truck was clearly the driving force behind the freshening, since it isnt trailer queen perfect, but rather a nice blend of restored and original components that ensure you wont think twice about climbing behind the wheel and putting it to use. It fits together quite well, the doors close easily, and that big hood doesnt need a massive slam, and theres no evidence that it has ever been wrecked or abused. The simple chrome grille and front bumper, a few modest badges, and a shiny rear bumper, a rear-mounted spare, and a jerrycan all make this truck feel at home anywhere it goes. Twin bucket seats with correct Saddle-colored seat covers, matching carpets, and nice-looking door panels anchor a stylish and functional interior. Today, we might find the inside of the Blazer absurdly spacious, but thats the great thing about old vehicles like this, particularly when theyre also practical and functional. Theres a matching Saddle cover on the rear bench, too, making this a comfortable 5-passenger vehicle thatll truly go almost anywhere. Original gauges are some of the best designs youll find in a vintage truck and theyre framed by a two-spoke steering wheel thats beefy enough to look right in the full-sized Blazer. A modern stereo radio fits in the dash like it was born there, so your music can come with you, and its hard to imagine a better vehicle for playing outside. Open the tailgate and even with the back seat in place theres still plenty of cargo space for just about anything youll need. The 350 cubic inch V8 under the hood is the perfect companion if youre going somewhere remote. With a 4-barrel carburetor and a very OEM look, it works well in a Camaro, but it works just as well in this big 4x4 as well. It runs superbly, starting easily and idling with a muscular rumble from the custom dual exhaust system. The engine bay is dominated by the big air cleaner, but if you look carefully youll see a Chevy Orange block underneath, factory exhaust manifolds, and a giant radiator thats ideal for slow-going. Its backed by a freshly rebuilt TH350 3-speed automatic transmission plus a 2-speed transfer case that feeds power to the axles at both ends. With a slight lift, itll climb over big obstacles and upgraded shocks keep it from being too rough a ride. Classic Rally wheels look awesome and are fitted with massive 31x10.50-15 BFGoodrich off-road radials that complete to the go-anywhere look. Big Blazers are big fun, and with this southern truck thats ready to hit the trails, you can combine work and play without changing a thing. Call today!
Spring time is coming. Time to go out and play. And this K5 Blazer is the perfect vehicle for that. Check it out. The paint on this truck is so nice that it would almost be a shame to take it out in the wood and take a chance of scratching it up. Almost. But dont fret about it too much. That beautiful Dark Green is covered in a coat of clear, so if you get a little too up close and personal with nature you will be able to polish it back out. As you cruise around town with it, people will look on with envy because they know that sitting up on those 35s with a little bit of lift, you can get to places with it that they only see in pictures. With the roof on, its good to go anywhere and anytime in the snow. With the roof off, its ready to load up friends for an open-air Friday night cruise or a ride down to the beach or river party. Open the door and use the thoughtfully provided step to climb up and inside. There you will find a simple but comfortable Black interior. The molded door panel has a solidly mounted pull handle as well as a speaker that pumps the sounds out from the Sony head unit that is AM/FM/CD and iPod compatible for your listening pleasure. A three-spoke steering wheel has a bowtie center button and is mounted on a tilt column along with the shifter for the automatic transmission. Behind it is a dashboard with sharp, clean gauges that are easy to read with the speedometer on the left, fuel gauge on the right and engine gauges for water temp, oil pressure and voltage across the bottom. Between the front bucket seats is a large center console with great storage and couple of cup holders. The shifter for the transfer case rises from the floor in front of it, and a nice roll cage provides safety as well as hand holds for the back-seat passengers on the way down to the lake. Open the hood and you will find a healthy 350 cubic inch motor nestled down in a neat and clean engine bay. The motor is topped by a chrome filter housing that feeds plenty of clean air to an Edelbrock carburetor and polished Edelbrock intake manifold. Chrome valve covers add their splash of flash and long tube headers get the spent gasses out to Flowmaster mufflers which give this truck a nice sound. Signs of good maintenance are obvious with fresh belts and hoses as well as ignition components. Multi-leaf springs both front and rear are enhanced with a bit of lift and fresh shocks at all four corners as well as a couple on the steering linkage help keep things under control. Power front disc brakes provide good stopping ability and those 35X12.50R15 tires are mounted on Rally wheels with chrome center caps and trim rings. Cruising through town, or cruising through the woods, top on or top off, this truck can get you where you want to go in style. Come on down and check it out. Then take it home and head out for wherever that is. We guarantee this K5 can get you there.
Pay attention, because this 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer is the one youve been waiting for. Fresh off restoration, this full convertible 4x4 has a new engine, new suspension components, slick paint, an A/C interior, and so much more. So you can read up on all the details, but you already know this is the classic Blazer of your dreams. The square-jaw stance of the first-gen Blazer makes them instantly aggressive. Of course, this one maximizes that intimidation factor with its tall suspension and a new application of deep black paint. The slickness of the clear coat also highlights the straightness of the body. So even this aggressor knows how to show off. The only thing rivaling the paint for shine are the large bright work elements, like the chrome bumpers, wide grille surround, and polished 16-inch Mickey Thompson wheels. The textured hardtop looks great in place almost like a two-tone black. But we really know youre going to love removing it, because after all, theres nothing like the sight of a full convertible 4x4. And this one was made to enjoy while open to the world. More evidence of how fresh this one is from restoration awaits you when you look inside. New two-tone seats, coordinating door panels, and fresh carpeting make this feel quite inviting. Theres plenty of room for family and friends, but this Blazer is also fun when youre just driving solo, too. After all, the bucket seats, center console, and upgraded Grant sports steering wheel give you a very comfortable position. Plus, this has been upgraded with a powerful Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo, and the new R134a air conditioning is blowing ice-cold. So you can just imagine how comfortable it is to drive with the top off even in the summer season. The full roll bar adds security and strength to this package. The 350 cubic-inch V8 looks great under the hood. Its a fresh crate motor from TAM Engineering, and you can tell how new it is just by the belts, wires, and components. It inhales deeply with a four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. It exhales with authority as the long tube headers add even more power while also contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust. Its a total setup that gives you plenty of power for the street or trail. In fact, while this one is almost too pretty to take off-road, they made sure its ready to leave the pavement whenever you are. With its two-speed transfer case, Dana 44 front, Superwinch locking hubs, and strong 12-bolt rear, this is a true 4x4. Of course, features like the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and newer suspension components are great for both on and off-road. Theres even been an upgrade to vented front disc brakes. Freshly restored and filled with features, this is exactly how you imagined a classic convertible Blazer to be. So dont let you dream 4x4 go into someone elses garage. Call now!

1972 Chevrolet Kingswood Roundback Driver Station Wagon. This car is a survivor, not a show car, but a very good cruiser/hot rod. Car is originally from Tennessee and restored approximately 10 years ago. Has very stout small block Chevy engine which runs very strong. However, carburetor may need to be cleaned or adjusted. Body and paint look very good from a distance, but have some surface rust around rear windows and a few smaller rust holes around fender well openings. Frame, floor boards, rear belly pan all very solid. The interior is original and thus has some wear as it is a 44 year old car. The worst part of the interior is the drivers seat and carpet. The headliner was sagging so it has been removed. Car has newer battery, starter, alternator, and exhaust. Has original Crager 5-Star Mag Wheels and tires are in decent shape.
