This 1972 Buick Skylark has a tasteful green-on-green appearance, an A/C interior, and V8 power. Best of all, its coming off of long-term ownership, so this coupe has been cared for just the way you would. The best Buicks of the 70s were both premium and powerful, and this one delivers it all on the first impression. It has muscle car-like hardtop profile similar to its Chevelle sibling. But theres an extra hint of sophistication with the sharply pointed front end and hint of extended rear (it gives a bird-like beak and wingtips of this Skylark.) Plus, the way the big chrome bumpers fit snugly to this design is a true American work of art. Its all finished in a shade of dark green that keeps has plenty of gloss to highlight the crisp sheet metal. The reason why it all looks so nice is because this coupe has had the same owner for a quarter-century. So hes kept everything nice, right down to the classic Buick Rallye wheels with color-matched inserts. Inside, the green interior looks quite original, and its a great pair for the exterior paint. Buicks touch of premium is seen again in details like the pattern on the seats, as well as the wood-like trim on the dash and steering wheel. This was an intermediate car in the 70s, but by todays standards, that means plenty of room for family and friends. Plus, cold factory air conditioning will keep them all happy. But even if its just you going solo, this Buick will keep you happy. After all, theres just something fun about rolling down all the windows and showing off the hardtop profile. Under the hood is a 350 cubic-inch V8. This is a great piece to have, because Buicks version was known for being a torque king. That means a nice startup from every stoplight. Plus, a four-barrel carburetor ensures good power in all situations. And because this is a true Buick, theres an easy driving nature thanks to comfortable features like power steering, power brakes, and the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. This all-green machine has been cared for properly and is priced right. So if you like your classic coupe to be both distinctive and affordable, dont let this Skylark slip away. Call now!

I love this car. The rare Sun Coupe feature first grabbed my attention. The colors, stance, wheels and GS features impressed me too. Then I noticed the specially contoured bucket seats, very cool. It didnt take long to realize the extreme high quality of the restoration. It has been off the frame and restored to show standards. The suspension is custom and theres a 455 under the hood. It just keeps getting better and better. Check it out! EXTERIOR: Outstanding appearance. It is a factory red car but the paint is far better then factory ever put out. I use the terms glass, mirror finish and laser straight alot but it really, really fits this car. The paint reflection is literally like a mirror theres not a ripple or shrinkage. You could read a dictionary in the reflection. The body is rust free, the gaps are right on. The restorer says it has all of its original metal and it is rust free. All they had to fix was a crease on right side 1/4, it was hammered out. A big feature is the Sun Coupe. This one has a new crisp white vinyl top which a large portion slides open. It slides and latches effortlessly. The Sun Coupe emblems are mint. The bumpers are rechromed. Windshield and rear window are replaced. Down the sides the wheel well moldings, GS 455 emblems, rocker trim, door handles are all in excellent shape. It features a GS ram air hood and sport mirrors. The door jambs are detailed. Clean metal with dry seems have a gloss red paint. New sill plates and weatherstrips. Has great looking 17 inch wheels with cleverly installed Buick logos on the center caps. Rides on new performance tires. INTERIOR: The interior is just about as impressive. It has been completely restored with high quality legendary products. The coolest feature is the front seats. They are custom contoured seats but upholstered to match the original. All the upholstery is new as well as the door panels, armrests, chrome plates behind the armrests, the window cranks, headliner, rear armrests etc. It has a new Deluxe sport wheel on a GM tilt column with billet levers. The new red carpet has matching floor mats with sewn edges. In between the bucket seats is an original center console. Dash area is clean original condition. There are two white face gauges-oil and water neatly installed below. Upgraded with a stereo and new rear speakers. Rear view mirror is new. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood is completely restored and detailed. Sitting in the middle is a big 455 Ram Air GS motor. It has been COMPLETELY rebuilt. Stage 1 cam, bored 30 over. Has a complete, functional ram system. All the finishes are smooth and correct- fresh coat of Buick red on the engine. The core support, inner fenders and firewall have a perfect satin black finish. The hinges are gray, brake booster is cadium plated, jambs are gloss red. Under the hood is painted satin black and has new insulation. All the components look new- like the power steering, wiper motor, air conditioning, alternator, overflow bottle etc. The freon is updated to R134. Upgrades include a Wilwood master cylinder and a big aluminum radiator with 2 electric fans. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Super clean metal in the trunk. I just inspected with a flashlight and the quarter panels look to be the originals. There is a nice coat of spatter finish paint. It has a brand new rubber mat and over that they made a custom red carpet with sewn edges. It does have a jack and GS wheel for a spare. The bottom of the trunk lid and jamb have slick red paint. The factory spotwelds and seams are mint in the jamb. New weather strip. UNDERSIDE: Body was off the frame and the chassis was completely restored, detailed and upgraded. Frame was powder coated then fitted with Ride Tech suspension front and back. There are Wilwood disc brakes at all 4 corners with big drilled and slotted rotors. The turbo 400 trans is rebuilt. The rear end is a new 3.73 posi. Upfront is cutting edge. New StrongArm tubular control arms with adjustable mounting points. It has gas coil over adjustable shocks, big sway bar and CPP steering box. In back it has fat tubular control arms with grease fittings, sway bar and adjustable coil over gas shocks. New exhaust neatly bent with stainless Pypes mufflers. Actually everything is new- fuel tank, sending unit, fuel lines, brake lines, u-joints, starter, fuel pump, e-brake cables. The rust free floors were protected with rubberized undercoat. It is mint under this car. I spoke with the owner/ builder of this car. He spent $37,000 not including any labor. Labor would easily cost an additional $30,000. He started with a rust free car and went all the way. Everything is new he says. My compliments to him, he did a fantastic job! Sliding roof Air conditioning Power steering Power 4 wheel disc Custom bucket seats Console Ram air Deluxe tilt wheel Ride Tech suspension 3.73 posi rear 17 inch wheels

1972 Buick Skylark that has been since converted to a GS 350 Clone/Tribute. All of the GS specific parts have been added to this car. The car received a frame on resto in 2013/14 and is fresh. The whole interior has been gone through and replaced along with new upholstery and carpets. Dash is largely original and in great condition. A lot of new parts combined with a lot of the original interior as well that is showing great. The trunk is fresh and has a nice spackel finish to it. In the trunk is a spare tire and original jack. The odo is showing 43k miles so we are led to believe its 143k, 243k, 343k etc. No idea of actual mileage. The motor is a 350 that has been completely torn apart and gone over and rebuilt. It was built back to stock specifications and runs great. The AC unit is there but not hooked up. Suspension is good and rides down the road great and gets up when you need it too. After all the work that has been done to this Buick to get her into this shape I wouldnt hesitate driving it wherever I please. The exterior has no rust at all, or on the car for that matter & shows in a great GM white. The original color was Burnt Saddle I believe and was a darker orange. Interior color remains original. The GS parts on the exterior include appropriate badges and grille along with the GS hood that is hard to get a hold of. -Vehicle is on consignment and at our clients home -Please Call First and talk to a rep at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 -Showroom is by appointment only Please Call -If you would like a FREE Listing please visit our consignment page or Call

This 1972 Buick Skylark CSX Tribute is one sharp looking muscle car. A thorough rotisserie restoration has left it with a magnetic appearance you cant help but gawk at, and during the process it was outfitted with professionally built big block power under the hood and a host of outstanding upgrades to give it the performance and handling very much befitting a classic modeled after Buicks top of the line muscle cars of the early 70s. Theres little doubt that this well-configured Buick could make its presence felt both on the boulevard and on the local car show circuit. Its Royal blue exterior, accented with painted white striping, makes a great impression right off the bat with its strong shine and smooth texture. Peer through the clear front windshield and youll see one of the coolest vintage style cues GM ever came up with - the singular hood-mounted tach and, unlike so many of its counterparts, this one is fully functional. Take a lap around and youll see its body lines are tight and uniform, the bumpers both fore and aft are straight and clean, and theres a great looking fiberglass spoiler mounted on the trunk that sports a sharp GSX sticker. A white vinyl convertible top stands by to protect you during inclement weather. The fetching white interior has a great classic look thats a fitting accompaniment to the high impact exterior. Both the front buckets and rear bench seat are in great shape. Despite their vulnerable color, you wont find much in the way of discoloration or other signs of wear - and theyre very comfortable. The factory instrument cluster sports easily readable gauges that are joined by aftermarket oil pressure and water temperature gauges just below. Air conditioning was a fairly rare option back in the early 70s, but not only is it on board here, its blowing as cold as you could want and with plenty of conviction. Your audio needs will be very capably looked after - the Kenwood AM/FM/CD player features both auxiliary and USB ports to accommodate a wide array of inputs, while the JL subwoofers and amp in the trunk add plenty of heft and bottom end to the sound filling the cabin. Raise the deck lid in back and youll see that the trunk is clean and sturdy and a full size spare is standing by. This ultra-sharp Buick is powered by a 455 cubic inch crate V8 whose displacement alone would make it a force to be reckoned with, but it offers plenty more than that. A pair of aluminum heads, an SPX intake manifold as well as Haltach tuned port fuel injection have been added to the mix to not only take its power game up a few notches, but to provide adjustability and dependable all-weather starting as well. This sizable engine pairs with a 3-speed automatic thats also performing at the top of its game, so this potent drivetrain combines functionality with a low-effort driving experience. A well-respected Hotchkiss suspension and traction bars have been added to give this classic Buick both surefootedness and handling characteristics that likely exceed those of its upper crust inspiration. Its factory power steering is in good form to provide smooth navigation, while power brakes that feature discs up front team with an upgraded master cylinder to bring quick, easy stops. Its sure to turn heads everywhere it goes as it cruises on a set of 15 Buick rims wrapped with BF Goodrich T/A radials with massive, asphalt grabbing 295s in back. Front to back early 70s awesomeness, combined with some great modern touches for an enhanced driving experience - this 1972 Buick Skylark CSX Tribute is a rare find. Call today!

1972 Buick Skylark, custom, convertible with factory A/C and tilt steering wheel. Original 350 V8 with 3 speed auto tranny. Complete front and rear High Performance suspension with polyurethane bushings, huge front and rear sway bars, and boxed rear control arms with grease fittings. New master cylinder and vacuum booster. New complete drum brakes last year, replaced everything. I personally restored the top end of the engine and engine compartment a few years ago. I replaced anything that could be replaced. The engine still had great compression and didnt blow smoke so I left it in the car, tore it down and did the following: (I have pictures)New T/A Performance Stage 1 Intake manifold, new T/A Perf. 4-barrel Quadra jet carb, new T/A perf. Red powder coated valve covers, new T/A perf. Double timing chain, new aluminum timing chain housing from T/A perf, new T/A perf. High volume chrome fuel pump, new T/A perf. High volume oil pump, new water pump, new chrome A/C compressor and hoses with updated modern Freon. New battery and cables, K&N air filter and Edelbrock chrome air filter housing, new cooling fan shroud (hard to find), new single wire high amp alternator, new hood insulation, new dual exhaust from manifolds back, changed the rear end fluid and ceramic coated the cover, new gas tank and sending unit, anything that wasnt replaced was stripped, sanded and repainted with durable chasis paint. Replaced the steering wheel with an aftermarket wood Buick wheel. The hydraulic ragtop works perfect. Small tear in driver side rag top by rear window. We always have the top down so it doesnt bother me. I replaced the tires when I bought it 5 years ago. Maybe put 1,000 miles on the car since then. Annual oil changes with Valveoline 20-50 Racing oil with extra ZDDP in it. Alpine deck with CD player and ipod connectivity cord in the glove box, brand new ignition switch and headlight switch. I also restored the trunk compartment. The car placed second in a large Buick car show for the stock class. Fun car, with 2 boys in college I need to let it go. Do your research; they didnt make many 1972 Skylark custom convertibles. EVERY time I drive this car I get a thumbs up or hey man, nice ride. Serious buyers only please and no tire kickers. Ive priced her fair at $21,000Call or text Rodd 602-326-4357
