Quite accurate, very loaded, and absolutely powerful, this 1971 Chevrolet Nova SS Yenko Tribute is a terrific all-around package. So you can show off big block power with the upgraded five-speed all from the comfort of an A/C interior. The appeal of this coupe is black and white, literally. The slick black paint is a modern application done over terrific panels, so it has the kind of shine that highlights all the best parts of this Nova. That means you easily see the aggressive front overhand, upgraded cowl hood, and subtle flying buttress in the rear. And this black is the perfect backdrop to highlight the full Yenko white striping package and all the correct badging. So you know people can see this is a tribute to Chevys best performance dealer from blocks away! Top it all off with the right bright work pieces, like the mirror-like bumpers and the polished outer lip of the mean American Racing Torq Thrust wheel, and you have a slick and aggressive total package. Inside, the black interior continues the muscle car appeal. You even get the correct Yenko headrests. But this one deviates a bit from the full Yenko program, and thats also why youll absolutely love it. After all, the originals were kinda stripped of features, but this one doesnt skip out on the upgrades. Bucket seats, wood-like trim, and an AM/FM/CD stereo make this a nice place to spend some time. You even have cold-blowing air conditioning to keep you comfortable. But dont mistake this for a coddler. The three-spoke Chevy sports steering wheel and column-mounted tach will remind you this is a performance machine. And have you counted the gears on the stick shift yet? A good Yenko car means a great big block under the hood, and this one doesnt disappoint. You have a 396 cubic-inch V8 filling in-between the fender walls. It has a very clean-n-mean presentation with the bright air topper and valve covers radiating from within the dark engine bay. And as you dig deeper, you see your favorite go-fast goodies, like a Holley double-pumper four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, and aluminum heads. And take some time with the details, because they added the right feature, like an electric fuel pump and an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans (it helps keep the car cool even if youre in traffic with the A/C pumping.) This full performance package feeds a dual exhaust with race mufflers to truly announce its power. You get the best control over this monster motor and its thunderous soundtrack thanks to the upgrade to a five-speed manual transmission. Plus, the power steering, front disc brakes, and wide BF Goodrich tires are welcomed features no matter if youre cruising the boulevard or making your mark on the asphalt. This is the Yenko tribute that delivers the correct performance and gives you all the best comforts. A total package like this is likely not going to stick around very long, so dont miss out. The Chevrolet Nova has always been one of the most sought after cars in the GM line up and this 1971 Nova now featured in our Denver showroom is an excellent option for anyone looking to see for themselves what makes these cars so desirable. The third generation Nova ran from 1968-1974 with bigger bumpers getting fitted on the last couple of years. This 1971 is the last of year of the smaller chrome bumper cars making it much more desirable than the later years. Defining features of this body style is the semi-fastback roof line, sharp body lines running from the top of the fender all the way down to the rear quarter trailing off into the trunk line, and the two headlights with horizontal bars running in between. The drive train in this car features the 350 cubic inch small block V8 with some performance goodies like headers, aluminum intake, and an MSD ignition. Mounted behind the engine is a 3-speed automatic transmission that would have been factory equipment back in 1971. As you fire it up, drop it down into gear and start to cruise you will not be let down by the amount of power that this Nova is putting out. Helping to keep this Nova manageable and easy to drive is the optional power brakes and power steering. The dark green paint fits well on this car and contrast nicely with the tan vinyl interior. If you are looking for a classic car that can be driven and enjoyed while still holding its own at your local car show this 1971 Nova is an excellent option and will always have a huge following! 1971 Chevrolet Nova SS with documentation. I have the original build sheet proving it to be a real SS. This is a extremely clean rock solid and 71 Chevy Nova SS. It is Gold with black top and black interior. The car has been repainted once due to fading paint and the body is all original with the exception of a aftermarket hood, it has no rust, it has always been stored inside and never has seen a winter and is a southern car. It has been in Vermont for 2 years and only taken out on warm and dry days. I have original documentation that proves it authenticity along with the original owners manual. The black vinyl top is like new as is all the interior which is all original with the exception of the seat covers which were replaced and some added gauges. New brakes, brake hoses, fuel pump and lines. New tires. The bumpers are like new and it has the original numbers matching motor, transmission, and 12 bolt rear end that have had some modifications. The motor was bored 0.30 over and has a larger cam, quiet gear drive, aftermarket cheater cast iron heads with 2.02 valves, roller rockers, high rise intake, Holley carb and wrapped headers. It also has a 3000 RPM stall converter and a shift kit in the tranny. Other modifications are frame connectors, and the battery has been moved to the trunk. The exhaust sounds amazing and isnt obscenely loud but has a great mean sound to it. This is a turn key car and runs very strong and is dependable. The paint is good but has some small rock chips and a couple of small touch up spots, its about what you see at some local car shows. If you are looking for a clean and very original SS this is your car, and I am confident you will have no regrets. -Vehicle is on consignment and at our clients home -Please Call First and talk to a rep at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 -Showroom is by appointment only Please Call -If you would like a FREE Listing please visit our consignment page or Call
