Frame Off Restored GTO Restomod 480hp LS3 V8 Automatic 12 Bolt Posi PS PB /// Combining 6.2 liters of LS power with a smooth, 4-speed drivetrain and striking red and black aesthetics, this gruff ground-pounder draws big crowds and big compliments! Fully sorted and ready to roll, this authentic 242 GTO dresses all-original sheetmetal in exuberant 2-stage that, while reminding of Pontiacs glorious Carousel Red pigment, no doubt sinks a bit deeper. Hoist the hood and youll find 6.2 liters of small block fury that, along with much of the cars sorted mechanicals, was professionally installed by Classic Conversions by Speed Inc. Officially known as the GM Gen IV LS3, that all-aluminum V8 creates a respectable 480 horsepower which passes through a 4L60E automatic gearbox assembled by Finish Line Transmissions. That trans spins a heavy duty aluminum driveshaft, which twists a posi-traction differential around a tough 12-bolt axle thats finished with Strange 3.73 gears. Stopping is a cinch thanks to two Wilwood calipers and a duo of factory drums. Factory-style power steering complements a fully rebuilt suspension thats finished with a beefy Hotchkis sway bar. And at the corners, Nitto NT555 Extreme ZRs, sized 255/45ZR17 and 285/40ZR17 respectively, lap gorgeous Year One Rally IIs. Open the cars solid doors and youll find a conservative Black interior thats stylish and very livable. Theres a quartet of original seats thats wrapped in restoration-fresh vinyl. In front of those seats, a monochromatic dash founds original telemetry next to a hidden Sony CD player that kicks crisp Hertz speakers. At the bottom of that dash, a fresh console traces a factory shifter. And the driver traces the road through an aftermarket Formula Steering Wheel. Life is just too short to drive something boring. A real-deal 1970 Pontiac GTO presented in triple-black is already pretty darn irresistible. But it only gets better as you see all the things you want on a classic muscle car from original pieces like the numbers matching V8, to the new A/C system. This coupe wasnt born triple-black, but lets face it, the father of the muscle car deserves this kind of seriously mean appearance. They took their time upgrading this later in life, and so today it looks like it was born this way. This has a terrific appearance with all the right pieces like the dual hood scoops, Rally II wheels, and the Endura front end that was an exclusive hallmark of the 70 GTO. Plus, the way the rear bumper fits into the design and the taut black vinyl roof really give a premium feel to this one. So overall, its fast with class. The black interior combines with the exterior paint and roof to create the always desirable triple-black package. With the bucket seats, door panels, carpeting, headliner, and much more with a deep and dark presentation, you can tell this GTO wants to get down to speedy business. But the premium side is always still there with the button-top presentation on the seats as well as the wood appliqu on the center console and surrounding the gauge cluster. This really has a great period-correct presentation, but keen eyes will spot some great upgrades. For example, there is extra insulation underneath the carpeting, and the radio is a retro-style unit thats really a more modern AM/FM digital tuner. Plus, the air conditioner is a new unit blowing cold with modern R134a. So you can enjoy cruising with all the windows down on this pillarless hardtop long into the summer season. It wouldnt be a 70 GTO without the big 400 cubic-inch V8 under the hood. It looks great filling out the tidy engine bay. The proper light blue block radiates from within the darkness. Its such a highly correct setup that youll love telling people this is the original numbers-matching motor. The condition of the wires and hoses suggest the right maintenance, and the way this one fires right up reaffirms it. The mighty V8 inhales deeply from a four-barrel carburetor, and it makes a great rumble out of the dual exhaust. The power steering, automatic transmission, and front disc brakes makes the coupe good for cruising, which means youll happily show off this triple-black GTO everywhere. Complete with the original Protect-O-Plate warranty card, this is a muscle car built to look like a mean and premium machine. So you know it will always have desirability. Dont miss out, call today!

For sale in our Dallas Fort Worth showroom is a 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge tribute. This black beauty started life as a 242 GTO with a 400 cubic inch engine and a 323 open rear end. But during her full frame off restoration in 2012 she received some major upgrades. The biggest upgrade she received was to her drivetrain. The built 455 cubic inch motor was bored to .60 over with a mild competition cam and hardened valves and seats. Stainless steel headers and brand new exhaust give the new engine a nice rumble. The new engine is paired up with a freshly built turbo 400 transmission mated to a Gearvendor overdrive adapter. That means you have a total a 6 gears to go through on your cruise instead of just 3. The suspension was beefed up to handle all the new power with Hotchkiss TVS suspension in the front and rear of the GTO. The builder didn t stop at drivetrain upgrades, he went in to the interior and completely upgraded everything. The ice cold air conditioning will blast you out of the car in summer and if that doesn t then the thumpin stereo sure will! Full premier Alpine component stereo system with 3 amplifiers, 10 subwoofer, 6 SPX-17 PRO speakers, cd player with aux inputs, and a remote control to help keep your eyes on the road. If you have been looking for a black GTO then look no further because you just found the cream of the crop here in Dallas. If you are looking for a car that is top show ready, a bruiser on the street, and has a document build history this is the one you are looking for to put in your garage. How fast do you want to go is equivalent to how much money you have to spend. The GTO blends a little bit of both performance and comfort for the $. Ask an automotive historian about the pinnacle year for muscle car performance, and 1970 is usually the answer. When GM lifted its cubic-inch limit for midsizes and compacts, Chevrolet, Buick, and Oldsmobile rushed out of the gates with a 454 and 455s that made the Class of 1970 the fastest ever. Pontiac, though, is the exception. While a 455 was introduced for the GTO, it wasn t the fastest Goat. The 455 GTO was rated at 360 hp, competitive with similar engines in the industry, but Pontiac didn t put much effort into making it the barnstormers that the LS6, Stage 1, and W-30 were. Two 400s the Ram Air III and IV made more horsepower. The 455 didn t even receive the RA III/IV s long-branch manifolds. This is an automotive Icon, own one today. Options include: AC, Performance tires, power steering, power brakes, rally wheels, radial tires, vinyl interior, tilt wheel, seat belts. I will save the pain for the actual original cost of the vehicle. I would take a dozen. This 400ci Ram Air III 4-speed has a rebuilt engine, transmission, and OEM floors professionally done. Few muscle cars made a bolder visual statement than the 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge. The Judge decals returned, multihued stripes appeared over the bodyside creases, and the 60-inch rear wing now stood high and proud on the tail. Some Judges also got a matte-black fiberglass chin spoiler. The Judge, observed Road Test magazine, is not for people who are shy about being looked at. But there was no shortage of substance here. Both 400-cid V-8s came with functional hood scoops, an under-dash knob that controls air flow. Pontiac made a rear sway bar standard and sharpened handling further with a beefier front bar, softer springs, and revised shock valving. The introduction of variable-ratio power steering also improved response. Transmission choices mirrored those of regular Goats: three-speed manual standard, four-speed and automatic optional, with four-speed Judges getting a Hurst T-handle shifter like this one. The GTO was the original muscle car, and the Judge was GTO at its most extroverted. Options include: Power steering, Power Brakes, Bias Ply tires, Aluminum Rims, Vinyl interior, Seat Belts, and AM/FM radio.
