This 1969 Shelby GT500 is an original numbers matching engine and was originally a Shelby GT500. Marti Report in the photos. It has the original 428 Cobra Jet V-8. It has received a repaint about 10 years ago and was painted red. The car was originally Black Jade Paint. Also shown on the Marti Report. The car was sold in the Bay area in 1969 to a Vietnam Vet- he painted it a brown color with 70s paint scheme. He sold it in the mid 80s and the new owner painted it its original Jade color. At this time he also modified the original engine with different carbs and such. The current owner bought it in 1987. The car was then in Canada for a time and the car was redone in Red and the original motor was then put back to its current condition. When bought in 1987, the car had 27k original miles- it now has 34k miles on it. The car has been in the US after its Canadian visit since 2005. The documentation for this car is substantial-Pictures of the car with its first paint job (brown) and also from the 2nd owner when it was Jade in color. Many, many receipts go with the car. The car was just recently entered in the Shelby Registry. -UNDERSIDE PHOTOS HAVE BEEN ADDED It is in very good condition and runs great. We welcome pre purchase inspections as well as facetime/video chats with the car. Feel free to give us a call.
