This car is heading for its 50th birthday! It is a real deal GTO, has been well taken care of and is solid from top to bottom and end to end. It has recently been serviced up mechanically with attention paid to keeping things factory original and has been resprayed in a fresh coat of its original color. These cars were stunning in Matador Red when they were new, and this one looks better than ever all freshened up. From the side, the long tapered front fenders highlighted by a black and white stripe down the side of the car look awesome. Toward the rear, the roofline tapers down smoothly into the trunk with a rear wing perched on the back edge. GTO appears on the front fender along with The Judge in script proudly announcing that it is equipped with that option package, and the back fender has a discreet little GTO emblem too. Up front the trademark Pontiac split grill is trimmed in chrome with quad headlights and sports another GTO badge. It flows smoothly back and up the hood to twin Ram Air scoops and a hood mounted tach so the driver can keep his head up and eyes on the road when it counts the most. At the rear, under that wing and wide oval taillights, is a nice chrome bumper with a couple exhaust tip peeking out from under it. Open the door and you will find a super sharp looking interior with attention paid to keeping the look original and authentic. The door panel is a simple yet stylish in black with chrome piping creating a Y pattern in the center with slashes of chrome accenting the top and bottom and a GTO emblem too. The bucket seats echo the Y pattern in the pleated center section with smooth side bolsters. A three-spoke steering wheel has a Pontiac arrowhead in the center. Behind it is a stock dashboard with a speedometer in the center, engine gauges off to the left, a clock to the right, and that hood mounted tach directly in the drivers line of sight. Wood grain on the lower dash looks great and carries through to the center console which holds the shifter for the automatic transmission. Ventilation controls include those for air conditioning to keep you cool on hot summer days and the only upgrade in this interior is an FM/CD and iPod compatible stereo for your listening pleasure. Pop the hood and you will find the legendary Pontiac 400 cubic inch motor that has been restored back to factory specs nestled down in a nicely detailed out engine bay. The twin snorkel black air cleaner has a decal announcing it as a 400 4-barrel engine. Of-course the focus on originality means a stock carb, intake and exhaust, and it also means that it has all been painted in the correct Pontiac blue engine paint. Everything has been serviced or replaced like the master cylinder and booster, alternator, power steering pump and air conditioning compressor which has also been updated to R134. Power flows back through a 3-speed automatic transmission to a 10-bolt, 3:55 posi rear, located by trailing arms and coil springs. Up front, control arms and coil springs with a beefy sway bar and new suspension components throughout help this car handle well. The rubber meets the road through 225/70R14 BFGoodrich T/A radials all around mounted on Rally II wheels. An awesome car celebrating its 50th birthday. A nice reward for someone celebrating their 50th maybe? Or just a nice, clean, classic car because you have been wanting one. Whatever the reason, come on down and check out this sweet GTO.

This beauty was restored in the original Carousel Red with Parchment interior. We can tell there was a lot invested in making this 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge look so good. Restored to correct colors and retaining its and the original 400ci V8 and four-speed, its handsome, fast, comfortable, and intimidating... all the elements that make the GTO a timeless legend. The subtle Mayfair Maize on this hardtop gives it sophisticated first impression. This factory-correct color was expertly re-applied during the coupes frame-off restoration to give it an amazingly deep shine. The body panels remain straight; the form-fitting rear chrome bumper is mirror-like; and the Endura front bumper continues to look correct & color-matched. So its a terrific total package that holds up to the extra scrutiny. In fact, this one really is for those who love up-close details. For example, this real-deal Judges stripe package looks distinctive in black from a distance. But as you get closer, detail oriented people will marvel at the white and yellow outline that makes the black really pop even more. More than just a distinct package, a powerful GTO like this has all the right intimidating pieces. The Ram Air hood scoops, large rear spoiler, and Rally II wheels with the PMD (Pontiac Motor Division) center cap reminds everyone that this Judge rules the streets. The factory-correct black bucket seat interior is quite inviting with nicely detailed seat covers that showcase the always-interesting Pontiac design motif. Plus, the wood grain paneling on the dash furthers this upscale feeling. This restored classic is meant to feel like a time machine, so even the AM radio is still cranking out tunes! You get the Pontiac three-spoke steering wheel, and just ahead of that is a tri-pod round gauge design with the speedometer prominently in the middle. Are you looking for the tach? Its out on the hood for a classic element that also provides a true head-up experience. And that goes particularly well with the Hurst T-handle shifter. One look at the 400-cubic inch V8, and youre again reminded this GTO is all about honesty and originality. It wears the correct Pontiac Turquoise paint with pride, and it sports a chrome valve covers (after all, Pontiac knew its customers would be showing off their engine bay.) Even the diaphragm around the Ram Air intake looks crisp. Best of all, this 1969-correct WS block is the original motor. It inhales deeply through a four-barrel carburetor, and the sweet rumble of the dual exhaust lets everyone know you have serious power under the hood. You have complete control over this powerhouse and its soundtrack thanks to the original Muncie four-speed manual transmission. As you pour though all the details, youre going find components that come up year-correct - and likely original. This includes everything from the heads on the motor, to the rear end. And so the result is a clean and detailed restored package that has a real eye for originality. The sale come complete with restoration photos, owners manual, and Pontiac Historic Services (PHS) paperwork. Such a well-assembled package is surely to win awards and surely wont stay around here long. Call today!!!

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this awesome 1969 Pontiac GTO. This is the real deal GTO, not a clone. Originally an option package for the Pontiac Tempest in 1964 and 1965, the GTO became its own model from 1966-1971. The Pontiac GTO was named Motor Trend s car of the year in 1968, and the 1969 carried over the attributes that helped it win the award in 1968. Although this one was originally Expresso Brown (color code 61) with a gold interior (color code 252), this GTO was redone during its restoration to its current color scheme of Matador Red over a black vinyl interior. Pop the hood, and youll find its 400 CID V8, topped by a 4BBL carb, and plenty of room to work on the big block. A set of long tube headers extract the exhaust gases into the Flowmaster-equipped dual exhaust, giving this Goat its vintage rumble. Depress the clutch, twist the key, slip the Hurst shifter-equipped 4-speed manual into first, and youll be tempted to immediately draw some elevens down the street. This 69 runs and drives like a true muscle car. It is raw, powerful, and sounds amazing. The interior of this GTO is no different than the rest of the car, in that it is super clean. The restoration of this car was very well done. This car is the essence of what muscle cars are, and in this bad boy you will not go unnoticed! Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer this awesome and documented 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge. Along with this gorgeous Carousel Red paint and Black Vinyl interior, this is the way Pontiac intended The Judge to be introduced. The first 2,000 Pontiac GTO Judges were usually optioned with a 4 Speed Manual Transmission Gearbox, Saf-T-Trak HD rear end, hood tach, rally gauges and power disc brakes. This is one of the first 2000 produced, making it a pattern car. Originally, this Judge was sold to Kottwitz Motor Co in Great Bend, Kansas and managed to find its way back to the Motor City capital of the world. The Judge was shipped out to the dealership on 02/21/1969 and carried a MSRP of $3,461.74. The Judge retains an original, period correct Pontiac 400CID Ram Air III car that was originally paired to an Automatic Transmission. This Judge is sitting on its original style rally wheels wrapped in poly-glas tires to give it its original 1969 appeal. The black interior is in amazing shape and this Judge is one you can actually put on the road and take to shows at the same time. With the demise of the Pontiac Motor Division, these GTO s are in high demand. Email me at email@example.com with any questions and serious buyers are welcome to take a look at it and drive it after we have communicated enough about it. 1969 GTO JUDGE. Original Matching Numbers Engine, 400 c.i. Ram Air III. Pontiac Historical Society verified with The Judge option. If you are a serious buyer then I don't need to explain the significance of The Judge option or the value of having the original engine. Here is what I can tell you about this car. I purchased the car in 1999 from a guy in Grand Rapids Michigan. He was a sort of car broker and he had several GTOs and was raising money to start a business. The car was titled out of California when I bought it. The reasons that I bought the car were: verified Judge option; block number matched the VIN; super clean underneath. This car was obviously somewhere warm for most of its’ life. In the pictures of the bottom of the car I did not clean the underside of the car as I didn’t want to appear that I had painted the bottom. The lighter color you see on the underneath pictures are just dirt. After I bought the car I replaced any rusted metal brake and fuel lines and all of the rubber brake and fuel lines. I blasted the rally II wheels and powder coated the silver base on them. I added the charcoal gray and several coats of clear to them. They still look great almost 20 years later. I installed an original GTO "wood wheel" even though it is not original to this car it looks great. The wood wheels fetch over $400. I beleive that I have the original black steering wjeel that I will include with the car. The car runs strong although it doesn’t get run often enough. I rebuilt the motor in 2006. If I recall correctly, it is bored 30 over. I added a mechanical oil pressure gauge just because it is so important. I just bought a new Optima battery in August 2018 for it. Body wise I already told you that the bottom side is clean. I had to replace the panel directly between the rear window and the deck lid. There a few bubbles under the paint on the deck lid that haven’t worsened since I have owned the car. There are some scrapes and scratches in the paint, that’s why I posted so many pictures as to not hide anything. I had to replace the hood tach and it is fully functional. The hood and enduro bumper where repainted in the process. The speedometer/odometer does not work. I replaced the pencil gear for the speedo once but it didn’t last long. The rear end is not a post unit and has highway gears in it. This was great for us because I didn’t ever race the car but we did take many out of town trips in the car over the years. The transmission is a four speed and works well but I am not sure if it is a Pontiac transmission or not. These issues are relatively inexpensive to fix if desired. This is a matching numbers engine actual Judge that at least meets the Average Value and has some attributes of the High Value description, somewhere between these two NADA descriptions: Average Retail ValueThis vehicle would be in good condition overall. It could be an older restoration or a well-maintained original vehicle. Completely operable. The exterior paint, trim and mechanics are presentable and serviceable inside and out. A “20-footer”. High Retail Value This vehicle would be in excellent condition overall. It could be a completely restored or an extremely well-maintained original vehicle showing very minimal wear. The exterior paint, trim and mechanics are not in need of reconditioning. The interior would be in excellent condition. Some vehicles may be considered “matching numbers” vehicles.

1969 Pontiac GTO Coupe In early 1963 a team of engineers and designers got together at Pontiac and decided to focus more on street racing and power. The Tempest had been in production for a bit and a more muscular powerful car was needed. Hence the acronym GTO or Grand Tempest Option became the code for the secret new development that would take place. John DeLorean actually claims the GTO came from the Italian Gran Turismo Omologato or Grand Touring Homologated (certified) which in reality the car was never meant for grand touring, but to be the fastest straight-line Pontiac produced. This code 73 color (Verdoro Green Metallic) GTO or tongue-in-cheek Goat supposedly because it would EAT anything (i.e. the competition) or Tiger (voracious) is a fair example of the American Muscle Car in its heyday. 51,994 miles (not known if original) sports rally wheels and redline tires, as well as a short sport shifter, and rally steering wheel. Exterior Repainted to color Match Verdoro Green Metallic, shows some blistering on the hood, as well as rear quarter panel repairs with slightly noticeable imperfections. Rust is showing on left door and appears to be surface variety. Fit and finish is not perfect, but typical of a car from 1969. Chrome bumpers are in fair condition, and other trim is pitted, or slightly dulled. Grille is in good condition, and hiding headlights are working. A thorough studying of the underside photos is recommended, as there appears to be possible issues with front suspension and steering, as well as brake hoses. The body mount bushings appear to be nonexistent on all 4 corners. Some wet areas are present around transmission seals, and floor pans showing areas of rust as well. Interior Black vinyl bucket seating in front and a bench seat in back, show very little wear and use, and appear to be original to the car. Black carpeting is found in good condition in front and rear of passenger compartment. Center console black vinyl lid to storage is worn on sides and rubber boot on shifter is cracked on drivers side. Vinyl peeling and rusting is present around ashtray area on dash, otherwise dash is in good condition, with gauges working as well as switches and knobs. An AM radio is inserted, and heat and venting controls are working as well. Drivetrain A 400ci V8 engine with headers, and performance exhaust with a Quadrajet carburetor make up the power plant. A 4-speed manual transmission is seen, and A-arm independent front suspension with coil spring rear suspension which came standard on this car from the dealership. 4-wheel drum brakes stop the car quickly and efficiently.
1969 Pontiac GTO Judge -Turbo 400 automatic transmission Push button AM radio Power Steering Tinted glass Safety Trac positraction Console Power disc brakes In-dash tach I have PHS documents. I have performed the following checks/repairs to this car. 1. The tires were manufactured in 1994 and have almost no mileage on them. A reputable tire shop says they will be OK for noninterstate, noncontinuous driving and it will be obvious if a belt comes loose. Passenger car tires manufactured before 1995 were produced to higher standards and these tires should be OK for nonrigorous use. 2. Wiring problems (shorts) have been fixed. Loose wires have all been taped and tied up. 3. Windshield washer and hoses flushed out; washer now works. 4. Front radio speaker replaced. Radio cleaned and tested. It now works. 5. Fixed under dash lights. 6. Power steering return hose clamped and now does not leak. 7. Fuel lines have all been upgraded to modern hose. 8. Transmission drained, flushed, new pan gasket, resealed, new fluid. 9. Oil change, new premium filter, 10W-30 oil. 10. Drained differential. Flushed thoroughly. New gear oil and posi additive. New gasket and sealed. 11. I have had the front and rear seats out and cleaned the carpets and under the carpets. There is NO rust on the floor pans or bottom of passenger seat. Ive neutralized the rust under drivers seat and greased seat tracks. I did not find the build sheet. There is no rust in the trunk. 12. I have had all the door dings and scratches in the body/paint removed and the car professionally polished. -Vehicle is on consignment and at our clients home -Please Call First and talk to a rep at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 -Showroom is by appointment only Please Call -If you would like a FREE Listing please visit our consignment page or Call
