No need to adjust your monitor, theres nothing wrong; this 1969 Ford Mustang fastback really is that low. Professionally built to show standards, this Mustang is more than just radical, its a runner! With a 428 Cobra Jet V8 up front, 4-wheel disc brakes, a 5-speed, and big wheels and tires, this is a pro-touring Mustang with a wild look that nobody will be able to duplicate. High-end customs like this rarely come to market, but if you want to stand out and get noticed, a pro build is a great way to do it. The roof was chopped two inches and sectioned three inches to give it that radically lowered profile, but it remains instantly identifiable as a Mustang. The astronomical amount of work required to build this car is visible everywhere you look, because without another Mustang next to it, its hard to see where the modifications really took place. The fender flares still look right, the scoop in the quarter panel is intact, and while it looks even wider than stock, that part is just an illusion. Spectacular black paint is just the right choice to showcase the radical metalwork, and its deep enough to prove that nobody was cutting corners on this build, because its simply gorgeous. Red stripes are a riff on the Boss 302 and Mach 1 graphics, and all the factory stainless trim was trimmed, modified, and shaped to fit the altered windows. Out back theres a custom light bar for a taillight, the only part that doesnt quite look like its from a Mustang. You could walk around this car for hours and not see all the tricks used to make it look like this. Its astounding. Dont worry, the interior is fully operational and comfortable enough for real-world use. The buckets are from a C3 Corvette, so theyre the right size and shape for a low-slung car like this. The Mustang dash was subtly reworked and filled with beautiful Classic Instruments gauges in a carbon fiber panel and even the stock Mustang door panels were reworked to fit in the sectioned doors. Too cool! A 5-speed manual transmission has a cool carbon-fiber mini console and a pistol-grip knob and the three-spoke steering wheel is elegant. Full custom carpets, a powerful AM/FM/CD stereo system, cold A/C, and a few additional bits of carbon fiber make this a great place to hang out. Its strictly a 2-seater, with the former back seat area converted to a rather spacious storage shelf, while the trunk carries a spare tire assembly with matching cover. This Mustang remains 100% Ford thanks to a burly 428 Cobra Jet V8. Its tucked into the engine bay rather neatly, considering that they had three fewer inches of clearance under the hood. Wearing Ford Blue, it looks right, particularly with the oval air cleaner and finned valve covers for a vintage Ford performance feel. It isnt radical, but in this car, does it really need to be? Its reliable, powerful, and a lot of fun to drive thanks to the 5-speed manual gearbox and 4-wheel disc brakes. The front suspension is Mustang II with rack-and-pinion steering, so it feels modern, while the rear suspension is directly from a 2001 Mustang GT. Its amazing how smooth and composed this custom feels on the road. The custom exhaust system tucks up neatly to give it that pavement-hugging stance and it sits on 17-inch Coys alloy wheels that look giant only because of the radical body mods. Very few show cars drive as well as this one, and it looks spectacular. If you want to start winning the truly big trophies or just enjoy having the most radical car at any show you attend, this Mustang is the ticket. Call today!
Prepare to be impressed, because this 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is not only a highly detailed show piece, but it also packs a stout matching-numbers 351 thatll make you forget all about its big block brothers. The unusual color is a big plus, too, so if youre looking to stand out on the street as well as the show field, this Mach 1 is definitely impressive. Code C5 Black Jade is rather rare compared to many of the other Mustang hues available that year, but it gives this Mach 1 just the right combination of luxury and attitude. Actually, this one is mostly attitude, and with a blacked-out hood and matching scoop, not to mention the yellow Mach 1 stripes along its flanks, theres no mistaking this cars mission. Its also kind of nice to see one thats clean and smooth, so no wing, no slats, just that classic sportsroof profile. Treated to a no-expenses-spared restoration, the bodywork is extremely good, with even gaps, a deep shine, and body panels that are as crisp as the day they popped out of the stamping dies. The blacked-out hood treatment was correctly done, enveloping most of the hood, and the scoop proudly wears 351 badges suggesting that it would be unwise to tangle with this pony on the street. The grille, bumpers, and other shiny bits look fantastic against the dark green finish and if theres any criticism to be leveled against this car, it may be that its simply too nice. I mean, I dont want to be the first guy to scratch it, do you? The beautiful white interior remains pretty much the way Ford made it, from the ribbed comfort weave seat covers to the woodgrained dash appliques meant to impart a sense of luxury to the Mach 1. Thanks to the restoration work, things like those seat covers, the carpets, door panels, and headliner were freshened to look like new and the combination is extremely appealing. The gauges show crisp markings, bright needles, and clear lenses, so theyve probably been to the restoration shop as well, and the center console with its T-handle shifter is practically mandatory on a sporting Mustang like this. An AM radio was part of the options list and its still in place, and the factory A/C has been upgraded with modern components under the hood. The back seat folds down to make for an impressive amount of carrying capacity for a pony car, and the trunk itself is neatly finished with a reproduction mat that offers a correct pebble grain pattern. The M-code 351 Windsor under the hood is light like a small block should be, making this Mach 1 a tidy handler as well as a great straight-line brawler. Fully rebuilt with receipts, it includes a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, dual exhaust, and factory-style hardware throughout, including the exhaust manifolds. Better yet, someone paid more than a fair amount of attention to the little things, including Ford Blue paint, correct hoses, proper fasteners, and a factory-style radiator, which all give the engine bay a rather authentic look. Underneath, the chassis is neatly finished with red oxide floors, a rumbling exhaust system with correct transverse muffler, and a stock suspension setup. Recent shocks, gas tank, and lines mean that nothing has been overlooked, and with 3.00 gears in the 9-inch rear end, its comfortable just about anywhere. 14-inch styled steel wheels with 215/70/14 BFGoodrich radials give it the perfect performance look. Nicely documented with a Marti Report and receipts, this Mach 1s new owner will have to decide whether he likes going fast or going to shows better. Actually, why not do both? Call today!
When you see a first-year Mach 1 with the big block Cobra Jet V8 and cold A/C, you know this car had to be painted green because of the all the envy it generates. So look over all the details on this 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Cobra Jet, but just know its a hot deal that will be going fast. The Mach 1 was the perfect canvas to showcase Fords refreshed Mustang for 1969. The body was stretched to have a meaner street presence, and this new premium package was not shy about its prowess. The Mach 1s looked ready for the track with standard flat black hood paint to reduce glare for the driver. And the large front air dam and hood scoop are great aggressive additions. The Black Jade green paint is factory-correct, and it represents a great gloss and shine to highlight the Sportback bodys excellent curves. Plus, the color has the perfect undertones to highlight the full yellow sports stripe package. Add in new chrome bumpers, bright trim, and GT wheels, and this is equal parts premium and performance. And that attitude is seen throughout this car. Ford was going upmarket with the Mustang at this time, and a great way to showcase that is with a pristine white interior. The doors, seats, and headliner all have an unmistakable look of premium. Plus, the woodgrain steering wheel matches the paneling on the dash, console, and doors, which all adds to the upscale ambiance of the Mach 1. In total, it looks like a time machine taking you back to 1969 right down to the Philco radio thats still on display. And the factory feature we know will really make this a comfy cruiser is the cold-blowing air conditioning. While the interior is a bit of a coddler, the engine bay is filled with brute force. This is an Q-code Mustang, which means it had a 428 cubic-inch V8 under the hood when it left the San Jose factory. Today, this still has the oh so desirable 428 big block under the hood. Because while it has a correct presentation right down to the decals on the bright air topper beneath that is a Holley four-barrel carburetor allowing this big V8 to inhale even deeper. And while this has a terrific growl out of the quad-tip dual exhaust, dont let this beast fool you into thinking it cannot be tamed. With power steering, front disc brakes, and a three-speed automatic transmission, this big block Mach 1 is quite an easy cruiser. Complete with Marti Report, this is the ideal mix of premium, performance, and distinction. So if you want to have it all, hurry up and grab this deal. Call today!!!

Documented Numbers Matching Rotisserie Restored Mustang Boss 429 4 Speed /// Fresh out of a nut-and-bolt concours restoration, and packing an original 429/4-speed drivetrain, this fully documented Boss, KK 429 NASCAR 1746, provides one serious investor the best of both worlds: ownership and enjoyment of one of Detroits ultimate muscle cars, and solid equity in a highly exclusive collector car! The simple pigment you see in our high resolution photography reflects a correct shade of Wimbledon White, and that correct shade of Wimbledon White comes courtesy of old school single-stage paint. Why, you ask, is a $350K classic finished in such elementary digs? Because the owner of this killer coupe spent the better part of 13 years returning the car to exactly the state it was originally sold in. Actually, come to think of it, 13 years is a bit misleading, as the cars nut-and-bolt concours restoration really began in the 1990s under the stewardship of a previous owner. Lift the hood and youll find an original, 429 cubic inch Cobra Jet V8 thats restored and ready to rock and roll thanks to Marion Performance Racing Engines of Marion, Arkansas! Behind that mill, an original Toploader 4-speed spins a tagged Dead Nuts On driveshaft, which is threaded to a DSD-restored Ford 9-inch. That awesome drivetrain is held off the ground by a DSD-restored Competition Suspension. Correct power steering combines with correct power front disc and rear drum brakes to provide competent track capability. Factory-spec Scott Fuller pipes funnel roasted dinosaurs through an H-shaped crossover, small resonators and a transverse muffler. And original Magnum 500s twist reproduction F60-15 Goodyear Polyglas GTs. This investment grade Ford is a fast, rare and extremely impressive example of Americas coolest pony car. Those with a limited budget should consider purchasing a project vehicle as an option to entering into classic car ownership.
Meticulously restored to be an outstanding restomod, and barely any miles added since completion, makes this 1969 Ford Mustang the ultimate classic. So take a look at the slick paint, custom A/C interior, performance-built V8, overdrive transmission, and so much more that makes this the best of everything. The fastback bodystyle already makes this one distinct and desirable, but its the unique details that really make it irresistible. Lime Gold is this coupes original color, and it has been given a fantastic respray during its complete restoration. That means a great clearcoat luster and a deeper metallic element to really make this one pop in the sunlight. When youre going to invest this much in the paint, you make sure that you have some of the straightest body panels around on which to apply it. There was serious time taken to make sure this was a straight and clean machine. But you also want it for much more than that. The 69 Mustang is one of the most aggressive first-gens around with the large front overhang, power bulge in the hood, and scoops built into the wide rear fenders. And this one adds to that aggressive attitude with a nice dark side on the black front air dam, rear window slats, and full-width rear spoiler. The large American Racing Burnout wheels do a great job of unifying this cars dark and shining attitude and it also offers hints to more modern upgrades beneath the skin. Just like the exterior, the interior has been given the right investments to have a great vintage look with some very worthwhile upgrades. For example, the bucket seats are the premium high-back units you could get in 69. But theyve been reupholstered to feel fresh, and they also were given a custom green streak to match the exterior. In fact, with the door panels and dash also receiving custom work, this is a fully coordinated total color package inside and out! This is the kind of coupe thats meant to be a comfortable machine, so you get upgrades like Dynamat insulation, an AM/FM/CD stereo w/subwoofer sound system, and cold R134a air conditioning. But this pony car is far from just a coddler. You know that the moment you slip behind the wood and chrome steering wheel and gaze at the full AutoMeter Sport-Comp gauges upgrade. Under the hood is a clean and mean presentation. After all, with less than 1,200 miles on this build its going to look so fresh. This is a 351 cubic-inch V8 specially constructed by the masters at Carolina Machine. It includes aluminum heads, a performance intake, four-barrel carburetor, and a growling dual exhaust. The full package is rated at 400 hp and 428 lb-ft of torque and we have the dyno sheet to prove it! Its mated to a Monster four-speed automatic transmission thats rated to handle 600 hp perfect for everything from boulevard burnouts to overdrive cruising. This feeds a strong Currie 9-inch rear with a Detroit Locker differential and versatile 3.50 gears. As you look at the undercarriage photos, youll see fresh components and welded frame connectors to make sure this Mustang feels as confident as it looks. Plus, you have power steering, QA1 adjustable front coilovers, front disc brakes, and grippy Nitto NT05 Max Performance tires at all four corners. So this is a classic that knows how to handle. In addition to the dyno sheet, the sale comes complete with a Marti Report, owners manual, and restoration photos. It all proves how much time and money went into to making an all-around terrific restomod pony. And if youre quick enough, it can all be yours. Call now!

Gateway Classic Cars Philadelphia is thrilled to offer this extraordinary piece of American automotive history, a two-owner 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 with just over 24,100 actual miles! This legendary car was built for one reason and one reason only win races. The battle for waged upon the speedways of the NASCAR circuit with the top dogs, Chrysler and Ford fighting for dominance each weekend. Chrysler s introduction of the 426 Hemi engine in 1964 rocked the racing world and prompted Ford to come up with a necessary response. The answer, the Boss 429, a mythical powerplant designed to run longer and stronger than the famed Hemi. In accordance to NASCAR s rule requiring manufacturers to release a limited number of legal street versions to the public, Ford chose the Mustang to be the recipient of this mighty power. The Boss 429 was derived from the 385 series engines, bored out and stroked to 429 cubic inches and topped with aluminum semi-hemispherical cylinder heads designed to move a lot of air. The impressive engine s size required extensive modifications to the Mustang body and Ford contracted Kar Kraft to carry out the task. Basic sportsroof Mustangs were sent to Brighton, MI where they underwent front-end modifications to accommodate the 429. Once in place, they made several other changes to the car include repositioning of the battery to the trunk, rear sway bar, manually controlled hood scoop and a 3.91 ratio rear axle with a limited slip differential! Production began in 1968 and oversaw 859 Boss 9s completed, two of which were Mercury Cougars. This is one of those revered vehicles in true survivor form! Wearing its original Candy Apple Red paint, this Boss is truly a rare find! Purchased new at Don Rice Ford in Bedford, PA in May 1969, this Boss retains 99% of the original components found on it including Autolite belts! All factory chalk marks are still present and visible! How often do you come upon unique details like that?! It s all there including the floor mounted shift lever, flawless high back vinyl bucket seats, deluxe seat belts, color keyed racing mirrors and handsome woodgrain paneling! Turn the key to hear the sweet rumble of the 429 that conveys the message that the Boss means business. This car has been meticulously maintained by its current owner for over forty years. This Mustang is a true time capsule that continues to tell the incredible story of performance innovation and preserves American automobile history. The opportunity to own a piece of history is now here and it calls for someone to be the next keeper of legends, is it you? Additional features include Original Bill of Sale and an Elite Marti Report by Marti Auto Works , AM/FM Radio with Cassette, Power Steering, Power Brakes and Seat Belts. Select trades welcome and financing may be available. This Boss 429 Recreation/ Tribute was based around the Kasse Boss 429 cylinder heads that have been improved upon from the original. The Boss 429 is one of Fords most iconic cars of all time. We wanted the Boss 429 attitude and power of the Nascar engine that can be driven and enjoyed. Kasse team said to expect 1.35 hp per cubic inch and similar numbers in torque. To start this build we used a rust free immaculate California car. It wears a Wimbledon White paint as true Boss 429 would from the factory. We used many styling cues that you would see from factory built cars such as markings on drive shaft, markings on differential and we dipped control arms up to the ball joint in black paint then clear coated entire arm. https://youtu.be/dgaIWDbQTesThis is a fresh build with just under 500 miles at current time. We made room for the Massive Fi Tech Fuel Injected 505 Cubic inch Ford Hemi by removing shock towers and installing the newest Heidts Pro- G front suspension. This front suspension just started hitting the market approx. 1 year ago. We couldn't stop there so we added the Heidts Pro- G full independent rear suspension complete with Currie Enterprises 9 inch center section with 350 gears and Tru Trac Posi. We also upgraded to the 500 hp and over rear axles as were needed. Brakes: We had to stop this beast so we trusted in Wilwood. We attached a Wilwood master cylinder to the power brake unit and plumbed it with all new Stainless steel lines and new hoses. We used Wilwood 6 piston calipers up front with 13 inch drilled and slotted rotors. In the rear we have Wilwood 4 piston calipers with inboard mounting design to eliminate torsional flex under heavy braking, rear is also supported by 11 inch drilled and slotted rotors. For parking brake, we added Wilwood park brake calipers that use rear rotors. Calipers are mounted on front side of differential and use original style park brake foot pedal and pull release. Transmission: We had to go with the bullet proof top loader 4 speed to get the real Boss 429 experience. It couples the engine to the trans via a dual disc Mcload RST clutch to handle all the ponies but maintains a better than stock pedal feel. When it engages you know you are driving a true machine. We used a Quick Time bellhousing to attach the engine to the Rebuilt top loader 4 speed. Parts and instructions for top loader rebuild were sourced through David Kee a leader in Top loaders. Hurst competition shifter was installed to shift through the gears seamlessly. To connect the Transmission to the Differential we had new Chromoly drive shaft made. Interior: As for interior, the gauges were recalibrated and freshened up. Tachometer was upgraded for proper response rate but still has stock appearance. Other gauges can look flashy, but we felt they would not do justice to the true feel of a Boss 429. We stuck with the timeless design created and produced by Ford. Clock on dash was converted to quartz to ensure trouble free operation for years to come. Fi tech unit comes with 4 inch display to monitor all systems real time and make adjustments when needed. It can be removed and put in glove box when not in use or kept attached in line of sight if you prefer. Equipped with Power windows, Air conditioning, and a 3 point Carbeau retractable seat harness for safety and security while driving. When you reach to turn headlights on you will find all four original headlamps were replaced with Led version for superior night vision and safety. Sound: Sound comes from a Pioneer head unit with 7 inch touch screen that pairs to your phone to answer calls or play your playlist, use navigation or stream Pandora. We custom made oak panels and oak speaker enclosures to mimic the existing wood trim on doors and dash. The 8 speaker and 1 sub system is amplified by a Rockford Fosgate amplifier. Exhaust: We started with FPA headers, these guys have been building headers for vehicles of this caliber for decades and fitment is key. We then added a 2 and a half inch Stainless steel Magna Flow system that had to be custom built around the independent Heidts suspension to exit the way it did back in 1969 with appropriate chrome turn down tips. Nice reserved sound when cruising but will let people know who’s “boss” on the road when you lay into it. Other Notes: Be cool radiator and fans. Entire underside of car had both ceramic heat and sound deadening Lizard skin applied. Auxiliary oil cooler added in same location as Boss 429 would be. Power master 150 amp one wire alternator. Powermaster starter. Omtima red top battery (trunk mount.)
