No need to adjust your monitor, theres nothing wrong; this 1969 Ford Mustang fastback really is that low. Professionally built to show standards, this Mustang is more than just radical, its a runner! With a 428 Cobra Jet V8 up front, 4-wheel disc brakes, a 5-speed, and big wheels and tires, this is a pro-touring Mustang with a wild look that nobody will be able to duplicate. High-end customs like this rarely come to market, but if you want to stand out and get noticed, a pro build is a great way to do it. The roof was chopped two inches and sectioned three inches to give it that radically lowered profile, but it remains instantly identifiable as a Mustang. The astronomical amount of work required to build this car is visible everywhere you look, because without another Mustang next to it, its hard to see where the modifications really took place. The fender flares still look right, the scoop in the quarter panel is intact, and while it looks even wider than stock, that part is just an illusion. Spectacular black paint is just the right choice to showcase the radical metalwork, and its deep enough to prove that nobody was cutting corners on this build, because its simply gorgeous. Red stripes are a riff on the Boss 302 and Mach 1 graphics, and all the factory stainless trim was trimmed, modified, and shaped to fit the altered windows. Out back theres a custom light bar for a taillight, the only part that doesnt quite look like its from a Mustang. You could walk around this car for hours and not see all the tricks used to make it look like this. Its astounding. Dont worry, the interior is fully operational and comfortable enough for real-world use. The buckets are from a C3 Corvette, so theyre the right size and shape for a low-slung car like this. The Mustang dash was subtly reworked and filled with beautiful Classic Instruments gauges in a carbon fiber panel and even the stock Mustang door panels were reworked to fit in the sectioned doors. Too cool! A 5-speed manual transmission has a cool carbon-fiber mini console and a pistol-grip knob and the three-spoke steering wheel is elegant. Full custom carpets, a powerful AM/FM/CD stereo system, cold A/C, and a few additional bits of carbon fiber make this a great place to hang out. Its strictly a 2-seater, with the former back seat area converted to a rather spacious storage shelf, while the trunk carries a spare tire assembly with matching cover. This Mustang remains 100% Ford thanks to a burly 428 Cobra Jet V8. Its tucked into the engine bay rather neatly, considering that they had three fewer inches of clearance under the hood. Wearing Ford Blue, it looks right, particularly with the oval air cleaner and finned valve covers for a vintage Ford performance feel. It isnt radical, but in this car, does it really need to be? Its reliable, powerful, and a lot of fun to drive thanks to the 5-speed manual gearbox and 4-wheel disc brakes. The front suspension is Mustang II with rack-and-pinion steering, so it feels modern, while the rear suspension is directly from a 2001 Mustang GT. Its amazing how smooth and composed this custom feels on the road. The custom exhaust system tucks up neatly to give it that pavement-hugging stance and it sits on 17-inch Coys alloy wheels that look giant only because of the radical body mods. Very few show cars drive as well as this one, and it looks spectacular. If you want to start winning the truly big trophies or just enjoy having the most radical car at any show you attend, this Mustang is the ticket. Call today!

When you see a first-year Mach 1 with the big block Cobra Jet V8 and cold A/C, you know this car had to be painted green because of the all the envy it generates. So look over all the details on this 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Cobra Jet, but just know its a hot deal that will be going fast. The Mach 1 was the perfect canvas to showcase Fords refreshed Mustang for 1969. The body was stretched to have a meaner street presence, and this new premium package was not shy about its prowess. The Mach 1s looked ready for the track with standard flat black hood paint to reduce glare for the driver. And the large front air dam and hood scoop are great aggressive additions. The Black Jade green paint is factory-correct, and it represents a great gloss and shine to highlight the Sportback bodys excellent curves. Plus, the color has the perfect undertones to highlight the full yellow sports stripe package. Add in new chrome bumpers, bright trim, and GT wheels, and this is equal parts premium and performance. And that attitude is seen throughout this car. Ford was going upmarket with the Mustang at this time, and a great way to showcase that is with a pristine white interior. The doors, seats, and headliner all have an unmistakable look of premium. Plus, the woodgrain steering wheel matches the paneling on the dash, console, and doors, which all adds to the upscale ambiance of the Mach 1. In total, it looks like a time machine taking you back to 1969 right down to the Philco radio thats still on display. And the factory feature we know will really make this a comfy cruiser is the cold-blowing air conditioning. While the interior is a bit of a coddler, the engine bay is filled with brute force. This is an Q-code Mustang, which means it had a 428 cubic-inch V8 under the hood when it left the San Jose factory. Today, this still has the oh so desirable 428 big block under the hood. Because while it has a correct presentation right down to the decals on the bright air topper beneath that is a Holley four-barrel carburetor allowing this big V8 to inhale even deeper. And while this has a terrific growl out of the quad-tip dual exhaust, dont let this beast fool you into thinking it cannot be tamed. With power steering, front disc brakes, and a three-speed automatic transmission, this big block Mach 1 is quite an easy cruiser. Complete with Marti Report, this is the ideal mix of premium, performance, and distinction. So if you want to have it all, hurry up and grab this deal. Call today!!!

Documented Numbers Matching Rotisserie Restored Mustang Boss 429 4 Speed /// Fresh out of a nut-and-bolt concours restoration, and packing an original 429/4-speed drivetrain, this fully documented Boss, KK 429 NASCAR 1746, provides one serious investor the best of both worlds: ownership and enjoyment of one of Detroits ultimate muscle cars, and solid equity in a highly exclusive collector car! The simple pigment you see in our high resolution photography reflects a correct shade of Wimbledon White, and that correct shade of Wimbledon White comes courtesy of old school single-stage paint. Why, you ask, is a $350K classic finished in such elementary digs? Because the owner of this killer coupe spent the better part of 13 years returning the car to exactly the state it was originally sold in. Actually, come to think of it, 13 years is a bit misleading, as the cars nut-and-bolt concours restoration really began in the 1990s under the stewardship of a previous owner. Lift the hood and youll find an original, 429 cubic inch Cobra Jet V8 thats restored and ready to rock and roll thanks to Marion Performance Racing Engines of Marion, Arkansas! Behind that mill, an original Toploader 4-speed spins a tagged Dead Nuts On driveshaft, which is threaded to a DSD-restored Ford 9-inch. That awesome drivetrain is held off the ground by a DSD-restored Competition Suspension. Correct power steering combines with correct power front disc and rear drum brakes to provide competent track capability. Factory-spec Scott Fuller pipes funnel roasted dinosaurs through an H-shaped crossover, small resonators and a transverse muffler. And original Magnum 500s twist reproduction F60-15 Goodyear Polyglas GTs. This investment grade Ford is a fast, rare and extremely impressive example of Americas coolest pony car. Meticulously restored to be an outstanding restomod, and barely any miles added since completion, makes this 1969 Ford Mustang the ultimate classic. So take a look at the slick paint, custom A/C interior, performance-built V8, overdrive transmission, and so much more that makes this the best of everything. The fastback bodystyle already makes this one distinct and desirable, but its the unique details that really make it irresistible. Lime Gold is this coupes original color, and it has been given a fantastic respray during its complete restoration. That means a great clearcoat luster and a deeper metallic element to really make this one pop in the sunlight. When youre going to invest this much in the paint, you make sure that you have some of the straightest body panels around on which to apply it. There was serious time taken to make sure this was a straight and clean machine. But you also want it for much more than that. The 69 Mustang is one of the most aggressive first-gens around with the large front overhang, power bulge in the hood, and scoops built into the wide rear fenders. And this one adds to that aggressive attitude with a nice dark side on the black front air dam, rear window slats, and full-width rear spoiler. The large American Racing Burnout wheels do a great job of unifying this cars dark and shining attitude and it also offers hints to more modern upgrades beneath the skin. Just like the exterior, the interior has been given the right investments to have a great vintage look with some very worthwhile upgrades. For example, the bucket seats are the premium high-back units you could get in 69. But theyve been reupholstered to feel fresh, and they also were given a custom green streak to match the exterior. In fact, with the door panels and dash also receiving custom work, this is a fully coordinated total color package inside and out! This is the kind of coupe thats meant to be a comfortable machine, so you get upgrades like Dynamat insulation, an AM/FM/CD stereo w/subwoofer sound system, and cold R134a air conditioning. But this pony car is far from just a coddler. You know that the moment you slip behind the wood and chrome steering wheel and gaze at the full AutoMeter Sport-Comp gauges upgrade. Under the hood is a clean and mean presentation. After all, with less than 1,200 miles on this build its going to look so fresh. This is a 351 cubic-inch V8 specially constructed by the masters at Carolina Machine. It includes aluminum heads, a performance intake, four-barrel carburetor, and a growling dual exhaust. The full package is rated at 400 hp and 428 lb-ft of torque and we have the dyno sheet to prove it! Its mated to a Monster four-speed automatic transmission thats rated to handle 600 hp perfect for everything from boulevard burnouts to overdrive cruising. This feeds a strong Currie 9-inch rear with a Detroit Locker differential and versatile 3.50 gears. As you look at the undercarriage photos, youll see fresh components and welded frame connectors to make sure this Mustang feels as confident as it looks. Plus, you have power steering, QA1 adjustable front coilovers, front disc brakes, and grippy Nitto NT05 Max Performance tires at all four corners. So this is a classic that knows how to handle. In addition to the dyno sheet, the sale comes complete with a Marti Report, owners manual, and restoration photos. It all proves how much time and money went into to making an all-around terrific restomod pony. And if youre quick enough, it can all be yours. Call now!
The 1969 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 was the last evolution, and arguably, the best of the breed. These rare snake-bitten Stangs truly got their own identity to go with the big Cobra Jet V8. So to find one in the right colors, four-on-the-floor, and a highly detailed restoration makes for a truly powerful collectable. Candyapple Red is always a color in demand, because the bright color is the perfect way to announce this serious sports car. But just because its a favorite doesnt mean its common only 304 were finished in this paint code. This factory-correct color looks great today thanks to a professional respray, and in fact, the whole car was given a full professional restoration in 2006. There has only been about 1,000 miles added on this GT500 since then, so you know it has been babied. The unique front ends deep recess looks like its ready to consume every lesser car out there. The full-length gold stripe package gives it the unmistakable appearance of a true American racer. The sequential taillights and center exhaust meant everyone you pass gets to see some swagger. Of course, this car was built to be cool literally with three NACA ducts on the hood, two more extractors, and inlets to rush air over every single wheel/brake. All the right badging is still in place with the coiled snake in the grille, 428 callouts on the fenders, and the unmistakable SHELBY in block letters out back. But the insignia you might love the most are the little cobras in the center cap of each of the cool cast aluminum wheels. Its all part of the details that tell you then took their time restoring this one. One look inside, and you can tell this is a classic built for performance. After all, you get the premium high-back bucket seats with the knit pattern and a cool red racing stripe across the top. Sporty Shelby upgrades included a roll bar with shoulder harnesses, and a center console with its own auxiliary gauges angled towards the driver. But Fords aim in 69 was to make sure that when their customers paid a premium for these Shelbys they got a premium feeling, too. Thats why you have a three-spoke wood steering wheel with the Cobra logo, and more wood-like treatment across the full gauge panel. Plus, the level of care in the restoration is once again apparent in the details everything from the shifter knob to the AM radio thats still cranking out tunes. The optional Sport Deck rear seat even folds flat for the proper racer look. Fords 428 cubic inch Cobra Jet engine was one of the most potent machines on the street. In fact, Ford was famously under-rating this big block at 335 horsepower. The enormous torque will spin the tires on demand, and its one of the few cars that can approach the top end of its speedometer. The motor youre looking at has an exceptionally fresh look and even the decals are correct. It really appears stock right down to the Ram Air induction. So its more evidence of the detailed restoration. And as you look at undercarriage photos, you realize no area was missed when investing in this GT500. But more than just a looker, this coupe is a true drivers machine. The V8 inhales deeply with a four-barrel carburetor, and the growl of the exhaust tells the world this is something fierce. The close-ratio four-speed manual transmission means youre in complete control over the big block power and muscular soundtrack. Plus, theres power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and a Traction-Lok limited slip rear to give you full control of this snake-bitten Mustang. The included Marti Report shows you that this one has been restored correctly back to day one right down to the Goodyear Polyglas tires. A solid investment and a solid driver; its time you put a rare snake in your garage. Call now!
An ultra-slick 1969 Ford Mustang fastback with a great exterior, custom coordinating interior, and a terrific rumble from the performance-built V8 under the hood yes, this is everything you want in a cool classic coupe. The 1969 Mustang is often the sought-after design. It carries much of the original icons appearance, but many features are elongated to give it a more muscular presence on the streets. The Grabber Blue on this one is all about extending that legendary feeling of a pony car with attitude. It also helps this has aggressive touches like the cowl hood and iconic Cragar SS wheels with a 14/15-inch front/rear stagger for an aggressive stance. Plus, the full black accenting adds to the intimidation with the front lip spoiler, rear window slats, rear spoiler, and the full stripe package over the top and along the rockers. If you liked how the black and blue looks on the exterior, then youll love the interior, too. Thats because the first thing you notice when opening the door are the custom black leather bucket seats with blue racing stripes. It provides the ideal mix of boldness and comfort. Plus, with a matching rear seat and custom blue accents on the dash, this is a nicely crafted total package. This has all the right classic pieces, like a center console, floor shifter, and a dual spoke steering wheel that gives you a clear view to the gauges. And while theres an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo w/USB input, we really know your favorite soundtrack will start from under the hood. Even the engine bay follows the rest of the car color theme with glossy black inner walls, valve covers, and air topper. And beneath it all is a blue block that coordinates with the exterior. Its an overall tidy setup that youll love showing off, but thats not the real reason to love this V8. Its because this 351 cubic-inch powerhouse has been upgraded with a mild cam, Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer intake, electric fan, and headers feeding the Flowmaster H-pipe dual exhaust. As you look at the undercarriage photos, youre going to see a clean build with even more cool blue on the upgraded Heidts Mustang II-style front suspension with adjustable coilovers. And since this one has the right stuff to make you want to hit the road, it also has more great driving features like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes w/discs up front. A cool Mustang with a great V8 and a fantastic color-coordinated presentation over every inch inside and out this is the exact kind of classic you can drive everywhere and arrive in style anywhere.Call now!

Why This Car Is Special Only 1,628 Boss 302s were produced in 1969, making it far rarer than the 7,013 that were sold in 1970. Mechanical The Boss 302 engine features a unique block with 4-bolt mains and screw in freeze plugs. It has upgraded heads with a canted valve design. They produced 290 horsepower and 290 lb. ft. of torque. The engine was mated to a 4-speed wide ratio manual transmission. That power is then routed to a Ford 9 rear end. This one received a 3.50:1 rear end gear ratio that is great for getting out of turns quickly as you bang through the gears. Interior The interior consists of high back bucket seats and the woodgrain bezel and clock surround. This one features the round clock, seat belts, AM radio and Hurst shifter. The rear seat folds down to make this a true 2+2. Two large gauges directly over the steering column keep the important information front and center so you can focus on driving. The trunk has the correct trunk mat and shows very well. Exterior Calypso coral was a rare color to begin with and makes this Boss even more desirable. The rear slats came from the factory along with the rear spoiler. Magnum 500 wheels are wrapped in Goodyear Polyglas tires to keep this beauty as correct as possible. The blacked-out hood treatment, taillight panel, trunk lid and C-stripe give these Boss Mustangs a menacing look. Luckily, they have the power to back it up! The Boss received different quarter panels which eliminated the side scoops and gives these cars a slick and sporty look. This change was carried over to the 1970 Mustang for all Sportsroofs produced. Conclusion This is a great collector piece that is ready to show, and cruise if your heart desires. Well documented and incredibly well restored, you will not be disappointed with this 1969 Boss 302. So, please call or text at 734-323-9260 or 727-688-1148. We also finance! Prominently stealing the show at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars is this captivating blue 1969 Mustang Mach 1. Initially hitting the scene as a step above the usual run of the mill, the Mach 1 featured a fastback design paired with black painted graphics on the car and a lower front splitter that all adds up to being one mean looking take on the Ford Mustang. The Mach 1 also featured a 351 under the hood in place of the 302 to back up its mean look with more horsepower. This car has had its 351 rebuilt and stroked out to a healthy 371 cubic inches. The sound of its overhauled engine is noted by a set of headers and a large camshaft that makes for an aggressive thumpy idle reminiscent of a Neil Peart drum solo. This beast of an engine is linked to an automatic transmission so anyone can experience the fun of driving this true to its roots muscle car. This gorgeous blue beauty has its colors well contrasted with a black interior that features an aftermarket CD player, air conditioning and ceiling mount/lap cross seat belts. This 1969 Mustang Mach 1 is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. Gateway Classic Cars Philadelphia is thrilled to offer this extraordinary piece of American automotive history, a two-owner 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 with just over 24,100 actual miles! This legendary car was built for one reason and one reason only win races. The battle for waged upon the speedways of the NASCAR circuit with the top dogs, Chrysler and Ford fighting for dominance each weekend. Chrysler s introduction of the 426 Hemi engine in 1964 rocked the racing world and prompted Ford to come up with a necessary response. The answer, the Boss 429, a mythical powerplant designed to run longer and stronger than the famed Hemi. In accordance to NASCAR s rule requiring manufacturers to release a limited number of legal street versions to the public, Ford chose the Mustang to be the recipient of this mighty power. The Boss 429 was derived from the 385 series engines, bored out and stroked to 429 cubic inches and topped with aluminum semi-hemispherical cylinder heads designed to move a lot of air. The impressive engine s size required extensive modifications to the Mustang body and Ford contracted Kar Kraft to carry out the task. Basic sportsroof Mustangs were sent to Brighton, MI where they underwent front-end modifications to accommodate the 429. Once in place, they made several other changes to the car include repositioning of the battery to the trunk, rear sway bar, manually controlled hood scoop and a 3.91 ratio rear axle with a limited slip differential! Production began in 1968 and oversaw 859 Boss 9s completed, two of which were Mercury Cougars. This is one of those revered vehicles in true survivor form! Wearing its original Candy Apple Red paint, this Boss is truly a rare find! Purchased new at Don Rice Ford in Bedford, PA in May 1969, this Boss retains 99% of the original components found on it including Autolite belts! All factory chalk marks are still present and visible! How often do you come upon unique details like that?! It s all there including the floor mounted shift lever, flawless high back vinyl bucket seats, deluxe seat belts, color keyed racing mirrors and handsome woodgrain paneling! Turn the key to hear the sweet rumble of the 429 that conveys the message that the Boss means business. This car has been meticulously maintained by its current owner for over forty years. This Mustang is a true time capsule that continues to tell the incredible story of performance innovation and preserves American automobile history. The opportunity to own a piece of history is now here and it calls for someone to be the next keeper of legends, is it you? Additional features include Original Bill of Sale and an Elite Marti Report by Marti Auto Works , AM/FM Radio with Cassette, Power Steering, Power Brakes and Seat Belts.
