What do you get when you take the GTO and turn it up to 11? Maybe something like this 1967 Pontiac GTO hardtop. It packs a fuel-injected LS1 made of aluminum, a gorgeous interior, and the right hardware to make it very fast but totally streetable. If you like the idea of a GTO that takes no prisoners, this incredible restomod wont disappoint. The red paint is bright and beautifully applied, but at a glance, theres nothing to tip you off that this car is anything but a garden-variety Goat. Theres no mistaking the GTO DNA at work here, from the stacked headlights and mesh grilles to the beautiful Coke-bottle shape, and while its not a real GTO, the badges are just where they should be. The paint is indeed worthy of scrutiny, a beautiful finish thats deep and lustrous and is exactly the right color to grab everyones attention as you cruise into the show. There are plenty of OEM-grade details, ranging from the modest hood scoop to the mesh grille inserts and handsome taillights out back. All the factory chrome and stainless trim remains intact, so it has a very correct look and it would be easy to mistake for a purely stock GTO. The beautiful black bucket seat interior has plenty of factory hardware, but at the same time, it was obviously built for the street. All the soft parts are new and correct reproductions, so it looks right, and theres a proper wood-rimmed steering wheel, although its a bit thicker than original-issue. White-faced Auto Meter gauges replace the original dials and give a better view of the upgraded engine, but the secondary controls remain intact. But make no mistake, this is a street car, so it also has cold A/C, a powerful AM/FM/CD stereo system, power brakes and power steering, so its easy to drive for anyone. Youll note that the factory his-n-hers shifter has been subtly tweaked to work with the modern 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission now living underneath and the illusion is fairly convincing. The trunk is tidy with a rubber mat and stereo equipment, but none of it gets in the way so you can feel free to hit the road with this Poncho. The hardware is what truly makes this car special, and the LS1 V8 under the hood is extremely impressive. Pulled from a late-model GTO (seems appropriate), its an all-aluminum block so handling is sharp and with as much OEM hardware as possible, it drives like a stocker. Everything is OEM quality, from the cool GTO cam covers to the accessory drive to the big electric fans keeping it cool (a big aluminum radiator certainly helps). The transmission is a 4L60E 4-speed automatic linked to a 10-bolt rear end, as original. Custom LS1 headers feed a trick Flowmaster exhaust system with an X-pipe, giving this GTO a very unique voice. It runs and drives beautifully, with great road manners and surprisingly good fuel economy thanks to the efficient LS1 motor. Factory Rally 1 wheels add an industrial look and carry 215/70/15 front and 235/60/15 rear BFGoodrich T/A radials. This is modern performance packaged as a vintage car, and thanks to the wonders of fuel injection, youll be shocked by how well it works. Better still, its all wrapped in bright red bodywork that will make everyone stop and stare. Call today!

Award Winning Restored GTO Hardtop 400 V8 Automatic Air Conditioning PS PB /// As fast as it is beautiful, this awesome GTO is the beneficiary of a detailed, ground-up restoration that was conducted over the course of 10 years. According to previous owners, all sheetmetal is original, suggesting the car has lived an easy life in mostly warm and dry climates. And naturally, that canvas has been bathed in correct Signet Gold 2-stage that nails the sporty yet upscale image that defines Pontiacs best offerings. Under the hood, 400 cubic inches of correct Pontiac power hides a familiar 9786133 casting number between a correct YS assembly stamp and a February (B) 9th (09), 1967 (7) casting date. That stout powerplant spins torque through a tough Turbo-Hydramatic 400 3-speed, which twists a proven 10-bolt axle thats finished with friendly, 3.23 gears. Factory power steering plays well with power front disc and rear drum brakes. And muscle meets the pavement through fully dressed Rally Is, which spin 205/75R14 BF Goodrich Silvertown Radial redlines around stainless trim rings and factory center caps. Open this Ponchos doors and youd expect to find a simple Black interior that serves as a nice contrast to the cars rich paint. But this classic is built to exceed expectations, and its gold cockpit looks positively awesome! Front and center, requisite bench and bucket seats wear tight vinyl hides. A wood-trimmed dash anchors rebuilt telemetry above factory air conditioning and factory audio. A snazzy console frames locking storage behind a cool Hurst His n Her Shifter. And the driver tames the road through a satin-spoke steering wheel thats finished with a green Pontiac inlay. With a professional restoration and a correct drivetrain, nothing will interfere with this coupe being both a weapon on the street and a winner on the show field. They gave a high-quality body-off restoration to this real-deal 1967 Pontiac GTO. So with a powerful V8 and four-on-the-floor, the only way this all-blue hardtop will give you the blues is if you miss out on this deal. There are many reasons why youre going to want to drive and show off this GTO, but one of the main ones is how good the paint looks. This is an exceptional re-spray of the factory Montreux Blue. They took their time with a frame-off restoration in 2014 that included making sure the panels were removed and prepped correctly. The result is the sunlight hits the blue and makes an amazing shine thanks to a tight body reflects the first-gen GTOs Coke-bottle styling. And the darker blue pinstripe adds to the emphasis on straight panels while also adding premium distinction. Of course, everybody knew not to mess with the GTOs by 67, so Pontiac gave it bold touches like the vertical stacked headlights, mesh grille, big chrome bumpers, hood scoop, and narrow sporty taillights shared with the best Pontiacs on the road. As you can tell from the pictures, all of these features are standouts because they look as good as when this left the factory over a half-century ago. You even get the correct Rally II wheels with PMD center caps and classic redline tires. Those who like the blue exterior will be especially happy with the interior. Just like the outside, this has been expertly restored so you can park it at the car show with pride. That means the bucket seats, door panels, carpeting, and headliner all have a nice finish like a deep blue ocean. And the wood on the dash breaks up this color nicely with a premium feeling. Youll love how they made sure to get the right details inside with an AM radio still on display and re-padded the seats to keep you extra comfortable. Plus, this remains a true drivers machine with a proper Pontiac three-spoke sports steering wheel, big round gauges (including a tach,) and a Hurst floor shifter calling out for your right hand. Theres even more blue under the hood as the bright block paint of Pontiacs famous turquoise radiates from within the dark engine bay. Plus, the polished valve covers and breather add to this impressive brightness. More than just look tidy, this is a terrific powerhouse with the 389 cubic-inch V8 topped with a four-barrel carburetor. This big motor in a midsize car made the GTO a true legend of the streets, and it only gets better on an example like this that gives you full control with the four-speed manual transmission. So youll love harnessing the full V8 power and making it growl from the H-pipe dual exhaust. But even when you just want to slowly cruise so everyone can see you, the power steering and power brakes make this an easy driver. Complete with owners manual, this is a carefully restored GTO that has the right features and a great color package. So if you like to stand out in all the best ways, call today!

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is excited to offer this desirable 1967 Pontiac GTO. The GTO brand started in 1964 being a trim package for the Lemans but started its strong history in 1965. Some would argue that the GTO was the first Muscle Car. This GTO has been resprayed in a maroon with a clean black Vinyl interior. Under the hood lies a 428 engine bored out to a 455 connected to a 4 speed manual transmission. The gear ratio is 4:56. The engine has recently went through a complete rebuild and has less than 1000 miles on it since being rebuilt. With that being said, the engine still needs a little time to wear into itself. It has the great options of both power brakes and power steering. The car came with A/C out of the factory but it has been taken off by the current owner. The car has recently had a new front end and some new tires. For more information regarding this 67 GTO contact our Chicago Showroom at (708) 444-4488 or email us a Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com And be sure to check our website out to see 100+ HD photos and a HD video at GatewayClassicCars.com See more at: http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/CHI/1478/1967-Pontiac-GTO

1967 Pontiac GTO Coupe Born of the brainchild of John DeLorean, the initial concept was to upgrade the Tempest, morphing it into an early version of the muscle car, which was the up and coming trend in a niche market of buyers who were hungry to go fast. The name, which was DeLoreans idea, was inspired by the Ferrari 250 GTO, the successful race car. It is an Italian abbreviation for Gran Turismo Omologato (grand tourer homologated), which means officially certified for racing in the grand tourer class. But in reality, the Pontiac GTO was never really a certified Grand Tourer race car. Internally, it was initially called the Grand Tempest Option, one of many automobiles in the Pontiac line up with a Grand in it. Despite these things, the GTO is one of the fastest cars ever manufactured by Pontiac. Wow is the first words out of your mouth when you take one look at this iconic Pontiac GTO. With just one factory color respray of the original blue exterior, this car appears as new. When driving the GTO you are immediately impressed at how true to the model this example is. It drives the same as the day it was when originally delivered in 1967. Exterior Code 4217 denotes a 2-door hardtop coupe. F-F says it is Tyrol Blue, and it has been resprayed to match original color. Chrome and brite work is in very nice condition, and all badging is correct. Even the rocker trim presents excellent. Rally wheels are all around, and chrome tipped exhaust adds a menacing look to the back of this goat. Interior Factory all the way, from the black vinyl seats, to the faux veneer on the face of the dash, to the console, and down to the jet black carpeting, the interior appears as it did when it drove out of the showroom. A his and hers Hurst shifter is between the buckets. Air conditioning blows Ice Cold! Power steering, power brakes are added, and the steering wheel is definitely original. Drivetrain According to the owner the car is a matching numbers GTO, however, the 3x2 carb and manifold set up were added at the selling dealer due to the fact it was no longer an option in 1967. Powered by the then new 400ci engine, horse power is rated at 360. Undercarriage Upon viewing the car from atop, one would expect nothing less than a very clean view actually looking like it was polished. No rust here, just clean, dry surfaces. This wonderful 1967 Pontiac GTO is truly remarkable in every way with all features fully operational, no smoke, original and unmolested mint condition interior as well as fully detailed engine and trunk compartments. This car drives so perfectly and effortlessly that it would be a shame to make it a garage queen, even though it presents itself as such.

1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible You have just stumbled across much more than your standard GTO. This classic is not only a desirable muscle car but is one of the nicest in the nation. The car was built by Chuck Woolery with Run Rite Classics who is known in the industry for his top level Pontiac restorations. Not only did he build the car but used it as his personal vehicle for years, bring home home some of the top awards including a Concourse Gold. The car is fully documented which can all be verified through the VIN, block casting numbers, etc. After the most recent rotisserie restoration the car was sold to the current owner who drove it less than 200 miles, strictly using it as a high level show car. It has been cared for extremely well in all of that time making its current condition just as pristine as when it was just completed. One look at the fit and finish of chrome, paint, trim, etc will tell you that. The body is laser straight and coated in a bright Tyrol Blue that looks beautiful in the sun. This is paired with a Black cloth convertible top that raises and lowers with ease. Nice subtle pinstriping runs the length of both sides with a small amount of free style work on the rear tail panel. The chrome and trim is immaculate from front to rear and all correctly mounted. You will find that not only is the correct GTO hood in place but is fitted with the correct hood tachometer. The car sits on original style wheels which are then wrapped with red line tires which are the perfect combo for a muscle car like this. Getting the car moving is the 400V8 factory motor that is fitted with a 3 deuce carburetor set up. Just as with the chrome on the exterior, the chrome work under the hood has a beautiful finish. Looking the car over there is no doubting why it has won so many top level awards. Mated to the engine is a 4 speed manual transmission that shifts very well. Power brakes are in place and this classic is extremely comfortable to drive. The interior car is Black with wood accents just as it would be from the factory. Everything has that nostalgic stock appearance but is fresh with a new finish. The bucket seats are fitted with headrests and sit to each side of the original center console. The original woodgrain Pontiac steering wheel sits in front of the driver with the original style gauges mounted to the dash behind it. The trunk of the car utilizes the same Black as the interior and incorporates a custom Pontiac GTO emblem. Add this top of the line concourse winning GTO to your collection for $89,500.00!!
With its undeniably appealing exterior, this 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible will have no shortage of admirers wherever it may roam and its promise of miles and miles of open air driving excitement is evident right away. This is a nice example of one of GMs best loved vintage muscle cars in good form while also carrying plenty of upgraded power under the hood to go along with all its visual magnetism. Deep blue paint takes the place of its original gold shade, providing such a good fit for this vintage Pontiac that it looks very much like it could have been its original color while offering a nice shine. Pinstriping runs the length of the sides, still featuring sharp edges. The array of trim this Pontiac wears is very much on point - take a look at the rocker panels with their GTO badges located just behind the front tires. In back, the taillights - with their distinctive eight lens configuration - sit between clean badging and the straight, unblemished bumper, with a pair of generously sized exhaust tips extending outward just below to provide a great look. A shift light sits in place of the usual tachometer inside the hood mounted enclosure, which itself is one very cool vintage styling cue conjured up by the folks at GM. The black convertible top powers into place for protection without complaint and sports a plastic window in back that shows none of the common discoloration from UV exposure. Beyond the doors, the black vinyl interior remains in factory configuration and is very clean, especially the seating in both front and back. The dash area sports a number of modifications, including an amply-sized tach that sits to the right of the factory gauges, ready to be connected, and a trio of additional aftermarket gauges just beneath the Pioneer AM/FM/Cassette stereo. All the original dash components also appear to be present and accounted for and the padding running across the top presents well. The center console sports a great looking B&M shifter. This is a substantially-sized muscle car, and youll find plenty of real estate in front of the rear bench for your backseat passengers. The trunk area in back offers plenty of room for luggage or nearly anything else you might want to take along on your adventures. With the chrome valve covers on its sides blending perfectly with its silver-painted block and a 4-barrel Holley Demon carb sitting just underneath an open element air cleaner on top, the stroked 383 cubic inch V8 strikes a commanding presence while producing plenty of power that becomes evident as soon as you step on the gas pedal. It sits in a eye-catching engine compartment that features inner fenders painted to match the exterior and is lightly travelled and very much at the top of its game, pairing with a 3-speed automatic transmission to provide a very solid, smoothly functioning drivetrain. An electric fan is up front to help keep temperatures in check, while an MSD ignition box sits on one of the inner fenders to maximize sparking. With long tube headers leading back to a 3 dual exhaust, this classic produces a very appealing note as it cruises the asphalt on its 14 PMD wheels wrapped with Douglas All Season radials that were fairly recently added. This Pontiac classic is also armed with power steering and power brakes for easy navigating and low-effort stops. If youre in the market for a great looking vintage muscle car with plenty of power, you really need to check out this 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible. Call today!
