Get ready for cruising the boulevard or checking out the car shows by coming down and checking out this beautiful Impala SS convertible. Being a full sized hot-rod means that you can load it up with friends for some fun on cruise night or both friends and luggage too for a road trip. Looking good in its factory correct Lemonwood Yellow, this car is ready to roll. The smooth body lines start with a slight angle back at the leading edge of the front fenders and flare out a bit as they flow up and over the rear fenders. Crossed racing flags with 396 Turbo Jet as well as Super Sport in script appear on the front fenders. A stylish chrome grill holds quad headlights and a Chevrolet Impala SS badge underlined by a sharp looking chrome bumper. A line of chrome trim looks great running down the full length of the car and the wheel wells and rocker panels also get dressed out in chrome. The triple taillights on this 66 continue an Impala character trait started in 58 and look great as they pick up that chrome side trim and tie it nicely together from side to side. The large trunk has plenty of room for lots of luggage even with the power operated black convertible top folded down into it, so go ahead, load up and head out with this car. Open the door, one that is plenty big enough for easy entry into the back seat too, and you will find an interior that is dressed out in the perfect balance of Black, chrome and brushed metal. The door panel has a long armrest with power window switches at your finger tips and a slash of chrome across the bottom. The black two-spoke steering wheel has a semi-circular chrome horn ring and a leaping Impala center button. A rectangular speedometer is set deep under the shroud of the black dash keeping the sun off of it nicely while accessory controls are set in a brushed metal panel trimmed in chrome that runs from side to side. The ventilation controls in the center include those for A/C and the T-handle shifter for the automatic transmission rises from the long center console. Black Strato-bucket front seats are comfortable and Super Sport vinyl floormats protect the black carpeting. Pop the hood and you will find a rare treat. A numbers matching, 396 cubic inch motor. Staying in character with the factory original color on this car, this engine remains factory original stock. Of course, it produces plenty of torque to get this full-sized SS down the road with plenty of speed and does it while keeping it composure, so why mess with success. The black air cleaner assembly announces it with a 396 Turbo-Jet 325HP sticker while chrome valve covers add a splash of flash. Signs of good maintenance include a new brake booster and master cylinder that put the squeeze on front disc brakes as well as a new radiator. Everything is neat and clean and properly routed including Air conditioning lines that look fresh and are wrapped in protective insulation. Power flows back through a 3-speed automatic transmission to a 12-bolt rear end. Coil springs front and rear provide a nice ride while matching sway bars at both ends make for a good handling car and SS wheel covers complete the picture on this car. Get ready for summertime fun with the roomy, fast, and rare Impala SS convertible. Come on down and check it out!

own a piece of history. This Impala was repainted about 10 years ago in this stunning red. Originally painted in Willow Green we can all appreciate the great color change. With the black vinyl interior it is definitely a winning combination. Under the hood lies the original 327 Turbo Fire V8 engine paired to the original Powerglide transmission. The odometer currently reads only 6,930 miles but it is believed to have just rolled over for the first time resulting in a total of only 106,930 miles on the engine. The engine still has the orange paint Chevy is famous for using on their engine blocks. The music of the engine is emitted through two chrome tipped exhausts coming out the rear. The car sits on 5 spoke Chrome Ridlers rims with 18-inches up front and 20 s in the rear to give the car an aggressive and stylish look. This particular Impala has no B pillar s resulting in very clean body line and a whole lot of window space. Inside the clean black vinyl interior with Bucket seats and center console. The dash has remained the same with only a new aftermarket Dual radio player being added. There is also an added Sun Super Tach II RPM gauge to help the driver make sure the mechanics are working as they should. Hop inside this sweet classic turn on the cold A/C and roll in style with this gorgeous 66 Impala. Options Include; A/C, AM/FM Radio, CD Player, Spare Tire & Jack, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, and more! This real Super Sport (designated in the vin) is an exceptionally clean, respectable car. Im walking around it for the first time and its straight, shiny, fits nice, very tidy. EXTERIOR: The car presents itself as having been professionally restored. Looking down the sides, it is absolutely straight. The doors fit flush with the body like its all one big panel. Repainted its original color. The paint has a very polished, smooth glossy finish all the way down to the very bottom. I dont see any blisters or signs of rust whatsoever. In back all the chrome is bright and straight. Has the upgraded Caprice style tail lights with chrome bezels. The trim that goes all the way down the sides and wraps around the back is mint. Its shiny and the black insert is still fresh looking. Up front the bumper is also rechromed, the grill, emblem, bezels are all straight and shiny. The emblems, mirrors, door handles, trim around the windshield is all exceptionally nice. Even the chrome running up the vent windows are not pitted and are shiny. The SS flipper hubcaps are in really nice shape, tires look new. The jambs are very tidy and clean, weather strips and window seals have been replaced. The black convertible top looks new, has glass window. The weather strips around the frame is replaced. INTERIOR: Very nice, unabused interior. The upholstery, door panels, carpet are in really good shape. The dash pad is excellent. The instrument area is like new-chrome bezel sparkles, lenses are crystal clear, clock is rebuilt with quartz movement. Neatly installed in factory hole is a retro stereo with aux plug in glovebox. Neatly installed under the dash is small gauge cluster so you can monitor the engines vitals. Overall the console, mirror, steering wheel, trim is very nice. Lights even work in glovebox and console. Has seatbelts front and back, that was still optional in 66. MOTOR COMPARTMENT: Very clean, tidy and proper. Washer bottle is hooked up, wiring is neat. Inner fenders and firewall are smooth metal. The engine is a recently rebuilt 350 with double hump heads, Edelbrock intake and carb, HEI ignition. Has power steering and brakes which makes it easy to drive. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is huge! Has a nice clean coat of spatter finish paint on what looks to be original dry metal. The trunk pan and 1/4s are dry metal. The full size spare and jack seems to hardly take up any room in this giant trunk. Has a new plaid mat. The jamb and bottom of trunk lid is painted nicely, has new weatherstrip. UNDERSIDE: Very clean. Has new exhaust, fuel tank and shocks. Dry, clean original metal. Floors and inner rockers are nice. Power steering Power brakes Power top Bucket seats Console Seat belts Retro stereo Dual exhaust

1966 Chevrolet Impala Convertible Flashy muscle cars are fun, and polished customs are nice, but, for some folks, theres nothing better than a well-done cruiser. No gimmicks, no frills and no drama; just sun and fun - LOTS of fun. This exceptionally clean Impala is a classy stunner that mixes 350 cubic inches of power along with some nifty add ons and a comprehensive restoration and tasteful aesthetics. And if youre looking for a cool classic thats road ready, show-ready and just plain battle-ready, its the perfect way to go to your local cruise in and turn some heads. Exterior From its virtually blemish free dual headlamp grille wearing a small bow tie and script Chevrolet badging, to the sleek long perfect hood covered in Danube Blue respray, then on to the spacious trunk lid that takes up more acreage than the average new home. Side panels are straight as the stainless trim molding that stretches from stem to stern. Brite work is near perfect and correct with the galloping impala and V8 on the front quarter panel. The white convertible top powers up and down with the flick of a switch and is clean as a whistle...but why would one ever put it up?! American Racing 5-spoke chromed wheels are one all four corners and are wrapped with Futura Super Sport GLS rubber. Interior Sliding into the front two tone blue vinyl split bench, I feel a little giddy, like Im getting ready to go into my sales mans office at the dealer and start twisting his arm. Yes, its that nice! Door panels are good, dash is pristine, and all is correct. So correct I harken back to when my father owned one of these beautiful cars, and would let me sit behind the wheel and turn the key to get her running. That speedometer style is burned into my mind as typical Chevrolet from the mid 1960s. AM radio? Check! Air Conditioning? Check! All very nice with just a few chips on the shiny surrounding molding of the dash. Dark blue carpet floods the floor and is topped and protected by Impala rubber mats. Drivetrain Gazing at the 350ci mill with HEI Ignition, Edelbrock Performer Intake, a 600CFM Holly Carburetor, and ceramic coated long tube headers, one can feel the performance on this cruiser. A Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission is attached to the rear. Undercarriage Slight surface rust is seen on the underside, but really very clean. Large pipe pristine exhaust snake their way back from the ceramic headers, and end in a nice throaty growl. 55BC power front disc brakes have been installed, and billet engine pulleys can be seen with a glance upward from underneath. A wonderful, turn key convertible cruiser that drips with mid 60s style, and class. Small but important engine upgrades add to the performance, and couple that with the condition of the exterior and interior, and this car will have you seeing blue.
