Trucks with hot-rod sensibilities are always popular, and someone has done some wonderful things with this 1966 Chevrolet C10. From the cool old-school hot rod shop look, to the perfect stance and the attractive, feature-laden interior, this truck not only looks cool but drives like it should. The mid-60s were a good time to be building trucks, with high style making them much more than basic tools. The stylized and folded lines of this C10 are shown to great effect thanks to a simple white paint job that was very nicely done a few years ago. As a result, neat details, particularly the crease the runs around the center of the cab, are highlighted in a bold way. Service stations in the 60s had trucks like this out front all the time, and if you were a regular at the tracks, trucks with an emblem on the door were a great way to show off your racing teams colors. Add in the forward cant of the fenders that give it a feeling of motion, and you have a truck that looks great no matter what you do to it. There are a few areas that have been touched up and definitely some signs of use, but they seem to add to the trucks authenticity because nobodys shop truck was expected to be perfect. The bed has a welcoming look that isnt quite patina but isnt over-done, and the spray-in bedliner on the sides means its still durable enough to do some work. The interior also got a thorough once-over, including a modern cloth bench seat from a late-model pickup. The attractive cloth upholstery in two shades of tan is surprisingly sophisticated and the workmanship is OEM so you know itll hold up over the long haul. Slightly darker tan carpets on the floor add some contrast and help control noise and heat and custom checkerboard door panels tie it all together with a 60s performance vibe. The factory gauges are still in place and if I had to guess, Id sat that light blue steering wheel is also very intentional, reminiscent of the Gulf Sports colors used at Le Mans. A Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo with a touch screen provides entertainment and its quiet enough inside to actually enjoy it. They went the extra mile to make sure everything was professionally finished, so its an easy place to spend your spare time and other vintage truck owners will admire your good taste. The powertrain is simple, proven, and powerful, with a throttle-body injected 350 cubic inch Chevy V8 at its core. The engine is stock and the grunge almost makes it look like it was born there, but there are some new parts. Service access is quite good, and with a new alternator and power master cylinder, its ready to drive. Fuel injection means its ready to go any time and starting is always drama-free, and you probably wont be disappointed by the smooth idle, hot or cold. A 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission diverts the torque to a heavy-duty rear end thats likely the trucks original setup and the dual exhaust system is tucked in beside it. Color-matched Rally wheels look right and reinforce the vintage vibe with a set of spinners and fat 235/70/15 white-letter radials. A very slick old pickup that has the moves of a much younger, lighter machine. Easy to drive and low-maintenance, its the kind of hobby vehicle we all wish we could own. Call today!
In case you havent noticed, vintage trucks are red-hot right now, and those with something extra to offer, trucks like this awesome 1966 Chevrolet C10 pickup for instance, are at the very top of the charts. With a small block V8, sinister satin black paint, and a handsome interior, its a workhorse that has learned to dance. The blacked-out look works surprisingly well on the vintage C10 bodywork, and even with the low-gloss paint you can see that someone invested quite a bit of time in this truck. The satin paint has been applied over some very nicely done bodywork that retains all the dramatic creases and details that make these trucks so iconic. From the wrap-around hood treatment to the simple squared-off tailgate, this is one of the first trucks to make style a priority. Those bulging rear fenders help, too, giving it a muscular look that works rather well with the low-gloss paint. Of course, custom details are what set this particular truck apart, with some of the chrome being painted to match and some of it being refinished, including the grille and bumpers, so theres a little extra sparkle. The bed is beautifully finished with a dark stain and stainless hardware, with the sides being covered with spray-in bedliner material so itll look great for years to come. As brutal as the bodywork is, the interior is surprisingly upscale and refined. The original bench is finished in custom cloth and vinyl upholstery, with beautiful gray carpets and the door panels painted charcoal gray to match. The original instrument panel still has that cool flat pane of glass with all the needles stashed behind it, so it was easy to install a set of aftermarket gauges in there for a totally custom look. The 3-spoke steering wheel lives on a chrome tilt column, making this a very comfortable place to spend your time. Youll note that the shift quadrant now shows D-2-1, which comes complements of the TH350 3-speed automatic transmission now living in place of the original PowerGlide. An AM/FM/iPod stereo has been fitted in the original radios location and powers new speakers in a set of custom kick panels that almost look OEM. Power comes from a 350 cubic inch V8, and it fits like it was born under this trucks hood. That shouldnt be a surprise, since this truck likely carried a 283 from new, but the extra 67 cubes make a big difference in performance. A chrome air cleaner feeds an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor sitting on top of a matching intake manifold. Theres a bit of chrome dress up to go with the Chevy Orange paint, and the satin black inner fenders and firewall are tidy if not detailed for show. The undercarriage features long-tube headers feeding a throaty Flowmaster dual exhaust system gives it just the right sound, as well as Chevys long-arm rear suspension that rides rather well. Power steering and power front disc brakes make it easy to drive and there are fairly recent shocks all around that make this old truck feel a lot younger than it is. The look is completed by a set of blacked out Cragar aluminum wheels wearing very truck-like 31x10.50-15 General radials. You absolutely could not duplicate this truck for the asking price, and you wont find a cooler hauler for less cash anywhere. Affordable trucks just dont get much nicer. Call today!

Vintage style on the outside, custom A/C comfort on the inside, and an all-around award-worthy presentation make this 1966 Chevrolet C10 this kind of truck where they sweated all the details. So you get to skip right ahead to pure enjoyment. Theres just something awesome about this generation of C10, so we love to see a body thats as straight as it is here. Chevy designed these with large indent in the sheetmetal that hugs the hood line, wraps around the doors, and continues down the bed... It has the same kind of appeal as an hourglass figure. Its a great factory package thats perfect for added flair. Thats why you have mirror-like chrome bumpers, a bright grille, and that cool white roof to give this a subtle two-tone. And the real wood in the truck bed is as glossy as the red paint, so it really adds to the style. Plus, the forward-leaning stance and Chevy Rally wheels hint at a little extra sporty appeal. While the exterior has subtle custom touches, the interior fully updates this truck for style and comfort. The two leather bucket seats give you a terrific upgrade in comfort with arm rests and nice bolstering. The leather matches the custom presentation on the door panels, headliner, and the center console that flows from the seatbacks all the way into the custom upgraded dash. You get all the best in comfort upgrades, including a retro-style AM/FM radio w/digital tuner, cup holders, and cold R134a air conditioning. But even with all these upgrades, you still get to enjoy the true vintage feeling with the thin and grippy steering wheel, and beyond that, theres even the classic column-mounted shifter. Under the hood they continued the vintage feeling with plenty of quality investments. After all, this is a period-correct 283 cubic-inch block, but it never looked this good coming from the factory. The tidy engine bay lets you easily show off this V8, and all the shining components they added. Plus, we love how the ribbed valve covers and matching air topper have their accents painted in a bold red to match the rest of the truck and engine bay (see, we told you this was a meticulous build!) The four-barrel carburetor allows the V8 to inhale deeply. Plus, headers with ARP fasteners allow this to exhale with extra power and bass from the dual exhaust. Youre in complete control of it all thanks to the three-speed manual transmission. If this sounds like a terrific driver, then youll also love the power steering, front disc brakes, and the C10s trailing arm rear suspension. Plus, the dual electric fans help keep you running cool even if youre in traffic with the A/C pumping. Complete with owners manual, this is a thoughtful build that has the right vintage look and all the right comfort upgrades. So dont let something this cool and complete slip away. Call now!

The C10 has become incredibly popular in recent years. With most of the attention being paid to the 1967-72 models, the older versions have reaped the benefit by becoming more of a cult classic. The front ends are tough looking and you can stuff just about anything you want under the hood. Why This Car Is Special Purple paint, modern amenities and a sound that will make your neighbors want to peek over the fence every time you fire it up make this truck stand out from the pack. Mechanical The engine is none other than a Corvette 350 that has had more power massaged out of it with an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake topped with a Quick Fuel Technologies 4-barrel carburetor bolted on top. Satin Black Edelbrock air cleaner and valve covers dress up the engine nicely, as does the chrome alternator. Dual exhaust running to Flowmaster mufflers provide this 350 with the muscle car sound it deserves. The power is routed through a Turbo 350 automatic transmission and sent out back to a 12-bolt rear end. Interior Modern black bucket seats are accompanied by seat belts and a new Dual AM/FM/CD player in the dash. A temperature gauge has been added under the dash to keep an eye on the engine and a GT steering wheel accents the modern seats nicely. The door panels are bedlined purple which looks great and can handle any abuse you might throw at them. Exterior This Custom Deluxe has appeal to spare. The deep purple paint is accented with the stainless Custom Deluxe trim and chrome wheels with raised white letter radial tires. Dual exhaust tips exit behind the rear tires. The bed is wood with purple bedliner to protect the sides. This C10 has the chrome bumpers and chrome grill to really set it off and they are in great shape. Conclusion This classic truck is ready for a new owner. It can cruise, show or be used like a truck was made to be used. So, please call or text at 734-323-9260 or 727-688-1148. We also finance! We invite you to turn your attention to this perfectly crafted 1966 Chevrolet C10, which has enjoyed a completed frame-off restoration in 2018. It only has 3,024 odometer miles, and 2,300 of them were put on it during the 2018 Hot Rod Power Tour. BACKGROUND: The first-generation Chevrolet C10 (1960-1966) was launched in the fall of 1959 as a new body style of a light pick-up truck that featured many firsts. This restored 1966 Chevrolet C10 has new, show-quality Mandarin Orange Metallic paint. The body condition underneath isn t hiding any flaws it has new metal in the floor, cab corners, rockers, and roof skin. The body lines and gaps are what you d expect for a truck of this quality. It has been sealed inside and out with a bed liner spray. The hood, fenders, inner fenders have all been treated with rust inhibitor. In addition, a hidden latch has been installed on the new bed and tailgate. Other new items on this truck are the Optima battery, windshield, rear window, side windows with vent, door handles, gas tank (relocated to the rear) with billet fill door, fuel lines, aluminum radiator, aluminum transmission cooler, all LED lights, complete wiring, mirrors with LED turn signals, grill, cam bearings and freeze out plugs, rod and main bears, melling oil pump, high torque starter, flex plate & damper, aluminum heads 64CC/202SS, 1.5 roller rockers, 750 quick fuel carburetor, aluminum air cleaner, aluminum water neck, chrome timing cover & oil pan, 65000 volt HEI distributor, aluminum V belt pulleys, aluminum air condition bracket w/508 sanders compressor, aluminum power steering bracket & pulley w/chrome power steering pump, and all new synthetic fluids. The interior is styled with new two-tone saddle leather. Also new are the seats, seat belts, one-touch power windows, upholstery, dash components, carpet, headliner, door panels, and sun visors. The instruments are Dolphin gauges. A custom dash has been installed to incorporate the gauges, A/C vents and controls. The custom console has stainless cup holders and a new Sony touch screen head unity with 6.5 speakers that sound incredible. Sound deadeners have been added upon the new carpet. Old Air brand air conditioning blows a cold 43 degrees. Underneath the hood is a new 383 crate motor with a cast iron block, aluminum heads and intakes. It has a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system, billet aluminum pulley set and chrome A/C pump and alternator. The headers are hooked to a 3 diameter stainless exhaust and has magnaflow mufflers and turndowns in front of the rear axle. The transmission is a new Monster brand 700R4 overdrive transmission with a very mild 2200 stall converter. The rest of the drivetrain and suspension has been rebuilt and all in perfect condition. It has a 12 Bolt Rear POSI end and 3.73 gear ratio. This 1966 Chevrolet C10 is an original short bed, 115 wheelbase truck, not a cut down long bed. It has been lowered 4 inches in the front and 6 in the rear. The frontend has CPP upper and lower control arms, lowering spindles, shocks and sway bar. The CPP turnbuckle steering arms connects the close-ration power steering box to the wheels. The rear has CPP trailing arms, shocks, sway bar, C-channnel and shock relocators. It is a coil spring rear end. The tires and wheels are chrome Ridler 650 and 20 front and rear Falken tires. As you can see in the video, this truck handles great and rides very smooth for a short bed lowered truck. The brakes are Wilwood disc only all four wheels with a larger 14 fronts and 12 rear. Wilwood manual master cylinder with an adjustable proportional valve and all new stainless lines throughout. The parking brake has also been built with all new components. 1966 Chevrolet C10 Rat Rod They say never judge a book by its cover and boy does that apply to this truck...a one and only 1966 Chevy C10 Rat Rod Pick Up. Powered by a behemoth 396ci/500hp monster engine and an automatic transmission, this wolf in sheeps clothing does everything right. Equipped with power front disc brakes, air conditioning, 18-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels, independent front suspension and finished wooden bed, this truck checks all the boxes for performance and handling enhancements. It truly drives better than new. The cab of the Chevy is flawless and although upgraded in materials from original, it stills retains its originality with tasteful and nearly unnoticeable upgrades. This one and only C10 will certainly turn heads and win trophies at any exhibition one may choose to enter.
This is a great city or country driving classic. The shortbed fleetside has the perfect classic look and includes most all the typical creature comforts (accept AC!). The actual original mileage is unknown but the vehicle has been driven almost daily and runs great. Here are some features: * 327 Chevy small block V8 * 3 speed automatic transmission * Edelbrock intake & carb * New battery * Power steering * Power brakes * Very clean engine compartment & interior * New shocks * New 1-1/8" front sway bar * Dark green paint on exterior & interior * "OSU Candy Orange" powder coat on wheels & exterior trim * New tires * Door poppers (shaved exterior door handles) * Dakota digital dashboard * SiriusXM stereo * Seatbelts * Clean title * Power windows (currently inoperable due to new "too-tight" weatherstripping) This truck was made to drive. I'm selling it only because I'm moving. It is very easy to work on and there are still plenty of low-cost bolt-on upgrades you can DIY to make it even better. I have all the paperwork and a proposed upgrade plan I'll share.
