Those with a limited budget should consider purchasing a project vehicle as an option to entering into classic car ownership.
Extremely rare combination of desirable features. Drop dead beautiful colors too. It is an early production 1964 1/2, #s match. I sold this car 25 years ago. That is thousands of cars ago but I remember this one because it is so outstanding. Used occaisionally and properly stored. EXTERIOR: This car was a total nut and bolt restoration when I sold it 25 years ago. It was just freshened up with a new paint job in its factory color. The paint is polished like glass. Body is straight and fits right. The Pagoda green is such an appealing color especially against the bright white top. All the trim is bright and shiny. Recently added chrome styled wheels with turquoise centers and radial redline tires. It also has optional fog lamps in front. INTERIOR: The white is an ideal contrast to the exterior. All of the upholstery still shows really well. Dash area is restored and detailed. The white steering wheel, chrome bezels, knobs etc look new. Still has original radio. Yes, that is a factory air conditioning unit under the dash, that is how Ford did it early on. Seatbelts have been added. Has original style 4-speed shifter. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Restored as original. The 64 1/2 had unique features which this car has- D code 289 motor with 4 barrel carb, generator instead of alternator, red starter relay instead of black. The power steering reservoir is remotely located. There are also edges on the corners of the hood that could injure someone if bumped, they soon started folding that edge over. The components are proper and have correct finishes. It is very clean looking. TRUNK: All clean metal painted the exterior color. Under the mat the gas tank looks new. Has spare with cover. UNDERSIDE: Restored to concourse specs 25 years ago. Still well preserved. They correctly painted/primed the floors. The front end steering and suspension was completely rebuilt. The 4-speed still has its original tag designating matching #s. Bottom of motor is still clean. Assembly line paint markings were correctly applied. You can search high and low, you will not find another with these options and colors. The compliments are constant, especially from the ladies! Air conditioning Power steering Power brakes GT wheels Radial redlines GT foglamps 4 barrel carb Seatbelts

1964 1/2 Ford Mustang is perfect for someone that is wanting a car that is presentable and ready to drive. The 1964 1/2 Mustangs were built slightly different than the Mustangs that were manufactured for the 1065 Ford Mustang. These early productions are all titled as 1965. The overall condition is very good, meaning its an older restoration that is completely operable but is showing some wear. This car is supported by the original 260 cubic inch V8 engine, automatic transmission, generator, and 2 barrel carburetor. The miles on the odometer is approximately 49,300 miles. The interior is original and in very good condition but does show some age. The dash pad is faded, but could easily be brought back to life or replaced. All gauges are properly working along with lights and signals. There is no rust on the exterior of this car. The chassis is unutilized and has received some previous repair. The paint looks good, but under close inspection, you can see infrequent blemishes. This car has a nice shine and is a head turner that attracts attention when driven. -Vehicle is on consignment and at our clients home -Please Call First and talk to a rep at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 -Showroom is by appointment only Please Call -If you would like a FREE Listing please visit our consignment page or Call

1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Convertible Many people think Mustangs were first born in 1965 but 1964 was actually the first year. While production was in high gear for the newly designed 1965 Mustang, the car was honored by being named the Indianapolis Pace Car of 1964. Due to the high anticipation and popularity of the Mustang, Ford started releasing designs early. These were initially marketed as early 1965 models but because some changes were made to the 65 Mustangs this set of cars became known as the 1964 1/2. This car is a nice solid Mustang done in Red with a Black power convertible top. When down, the top is covered with a White boot cover to match the Parchment interior. The paint is in good condition and the body rust free. All of the original style chrome and stainless accents are in place with a great shine. The glass is in great shape with no issues. It has a GT valance in the rear with the dual exhaust trumpets exiting through it. Rolling under all four corners are GT wheels with the Ford Mustang center caps which complete the classic Mustang look. The car runs and drives well with no issues. It came from the factory with a 289 V8 and is still powered by a 289 4 barrel V8 today. The air cleaner and valve covers wear the classic Gold paint like they did from the factory along with the 289 decal. The car doesnt smoke and rolls down the road comfortably. The motor is paired with a C4 automatic transmission that moves through the gears smoothly. Inside, the car has the Parchment interior which is always a popular choice in these classics. It is combined with a painted to match dash, Black carpeting and a Black dash pad to create a two tone look. The car utilizes all original style components from the t-handle floor shifter to the woodgrain steering wheel. Everything is just as it would have been stock. The only real aftermarket component is the added seat belts which these cars often do not have in place. The gauges are working properly and indicate 76,240 original miles. The trunk of the car is fitted with the correct plaid mat and houses a spare wheel with cover. Mustangs are never going out of style so making a purchase like this can never back fire! Make this classic American Muscle car yours for $32,500.00! NOW REDUCED DOWN TO $28,500.00!
