Just the highlights on this spectacular 1964 Corvette: matching-numbers 327, 4-speed manual transmission, and its red. If youve been looking for a nice Mid-Year Corvette, but not one of those six-figure investment machines that crush bank accounts, this might be the smart choice. Red is a passionate color, and there arent many guys more passionate about their hardware than Corvette owners. Its fitting that this cars Riverside Red finish is correct, because nothing looks as good as a mid-year roadster in sizzling bright red. You want attention, youll get it in this fiberglass roadster, but youll be too busy grinning like an escaped convict to notice. Fit and finish were quite well done several years ago and now showing a bit of age, which only means that youll drive this Corvette instead of hiding it in your garage. However, even up close, youll notice that all the little stuff is right: the headlights fit well, the door gaps are decent, and the pleat that surrounds the body is crisp and almost sharp enough to give you a paper cut. It looks like the hood might be a replacement piece, but it fits well and only the experts will know for sure. C2s dont have a lot of chrome, but everything on this car was professionally refinished, including the bumpers and those ribbed rocker panel moldings that are the coolest thing this side of, well, side pipes. It also features a matching red interior, and when I say matching, I mean its so good that its tough to tell where the fiberglass ends and the upholstery begins. It was all new during the restoration, with reproduction seat covers, new carpets and door panels, and a neatly refinished center console that was painted to match. Corvette engineers gave you a full array of gauges, all of which have been expertly restored in this car, including the somewhat optimistic 160 MPH speedometer and correct 5500 RPM redline tach. This one also includes the unique Corvette vertical radio, although this is a modern digital AM/FM unit. Theres also a bright white convertible top that youll learn to stow easily in a matter of seconds, and it seals up rather well. The engine is the original, numbers-matching 327 cubic inch V8 rated at a nice, round 300 horsepower. Rebuilt during the restoration, it runs beautifully today with a cackling exhaust note and a big hit of torque at any speed. UP top theres a modern Edelbrock intake manifold with a factory 4-barrel carburetor, but thats the long deviation from stock. Other correct details include the chrome air cleaner with correct decal, finned valve covers, and Chevy Orange paint on the block itself. Rams horn exhaust manifolds dump into a chambered dual exhaust system, and as long as youre looking around under there, note the clean floors and factory-spec suspension and brakes, so it drives like it should. Standard steel wheels with spinner hubcaps were the default choice, whit this car carrying modern 15-inch Bridgestone whitewall radials. 1964 Corvettes are kind of orphans, but that only means that they offer a lot of collectability for a very reasonable price. Matching numbers, a 4-speed, and a great color combination make this one a great alternative to the investment cars. Call today!

This striking Corvette Sting Ray is finished in Satin Silver with black vinyl interior making it an absolute head turner. A comprehensive restoration in recent years has resulted in a stunning presentation. Powered by its numbers matching L75 327 cubic inch, 300-hp V-8 engine, it shifts smoothly through the gears of the four-speed manual transmission and makes all the right sounds thru the side mount exhaust system. Additional performance features are the power brakes and power steering. All the bright-work on the car, from the bumpers to the window moldings, produces a mirror-like reflection. The same attention to detail that was shown on the exterior during the restoration is also apparent on the interior – the black vinyl upholstery is in terrific condition and the dashboard looks just like it did from the factory. Also found in the cabin are power windows, an updated AM/FM push button radio nestled in the dash as well as the factory clock. The convertible rides in style with its cast aluminum wheels on redline radial tires. This beautiful Corvette is in excellent running order and is the perfect car for open top driving. Because a red Corvette convertible is what we all love, this one is fantastically rosy inside and out. But more than just looks, this 1964 Chevrolet Corvette convertible has that perfect mix of V8 rumble, independent chassis, and four-speed control that makes every outing an experience. This car is a true iconic American. A red Sting Ray gives every one of us the fantasy of cruising a car hop for late night burgers, and then parting the midnight air with the sounds of breaking in fresh asphalt. And 64 is one of the most desirable body styles. It has some great trim that was not available on later years, proper four taillight design, and a distinctly aggressive hood. But more than just year-specific details, the paint and bodywork on this example remind you that there was careful ownership all its life. In fact, this example spent two decades under one owners care. The bumpers are bright, the details are great (like the redline tires,) and while the folding roof neatly stores away under the hard boot, this one even looks good with bright white top in place. Open the door, and it feels like 1964 all over again. Theres a sea of red on the carpets, bucket seats, and dash. Just about the only thing that breaks up this festival of scarlet is the grippy three-spoke steering wheel that is truly worthy of a vintage sports car. If you look closely at the radio, youll notice its a retro-style unit with an AM/FM digital tuner and aux input. That way you get the vintage look while still getting the best driving tunes. Of course, with that stick shift boldly sitting in the middle, you know youre real favorite soundtrack starts under the hood. The engine bay looks nice with shine on the air grabber, intake, and Corvette script valve covers. Beyond the style is the substance of a strong 327 cubic-inch V8 topped with a four-barrel carburetor. Plus, there have been nice investments in components like new bushings, wiring harness, fuel tank, and dual exhaust. Best of all, you have complete control of the power and its growl thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. This is a true sports car for the road with the C2s fully independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes. You knew you wanted this icon from the moment you saw the great red-on-red appearance. But as you dig deeper and go over the included owners manual packet, soon you realize that this deal just keeps getting better. Call now!

Beautiful 1964 Corvette Fuelie Coupe with just 46k actual miles! It is a factory radio and heater delete car. It has its original matching numbers 327/340hp Fuelie motor. It was sold new by Connell Chevrolet of Costa Mesa, CA. It was subject to a frame-off restoration in 1986 by the second owner and was sold at Barrett-Jackson in 1988 for a, at the time, new world record of $55,000 to Sam Boyd of Las Vegas, Nevada. Sam owned the Boyd gaming empire in Las Vegas. It stayed in his collection from then until it was sold to a Southern California Corvette collector and his wife in 2005. It remained in their collection until we purchased it last year. It is an absolutely beautiful car and color combination!!! It has been kept in Rays personal garage at his house since we have owned it. Just a great example to have in any collection!!!
The Chevrolet Corvette C2 model, known as the Sting Ray was produced during the 1963-1967 model years. In addition to its radical styling, significant mechanical upgrades including an independent rear suspension, power brake assist and electrical alternator. This gorgeous Red/Black 1964 Corvette convertible with optional one-piece hard top is not to be missed. Treated to a full frame-off restoration in 2002, no detail was missed including a complete engine rebuild. The owner states 4,080 miles since rebuild on this numbers-matching vehicle. The 327cid, 300 hp powerplant is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. Additional options include power steering, power windows and AM/FM radio. The paint is Roman Red PPG Duracryl Acrylic Lacquer and in excellent condition. True factory side exhaust and knock-off wheels complete this stunning package. This is a GM executive owned car that had side pipes added, that were NOT an option in 64, but he knew were coming in 65, which makes this a very rare 64. For sale in our Houston showroom is one awesome 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod. Before this radical transformation, the car was stored in a warehouse for over 30 years. Luckily, the car was recovered from what has been the end of many great cars, and the decision was made to make it into the amazing machine you see before you. Performed by the Duntov Motor Company in Dallas, Texas, no expense was spared on this restoration/modification. Specializing in building, racing, and restoring vintage Corvettes, Duntov s expertise shines through brilliantly on this build. The frame was stripped completely down, dipped in an alkaline vat, and primed to a level higher than you would have seen on the line in St. Louis. Pop the forward tilting hood and you will find a brand new GM Performance LS3 engine. This particular LS is pumping out 525 hp, making this little black C2 a force to be reckoned with. All of that force is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec 5 speed manual and spinning a Duntov differential housing 3.73 gears. Keeping this little beast planted is a complete Duntov front and rear suspension set up. The entire undercarriage, engine compartment, and inside of the body was sprayed with Lizard Skin to keep heat and unwanted sounds out of the cabin. Fans of Fast & Loud may recognize Sue s handy work, as ASM performed all of the interior work, including the Corbeau leather reclining seats with 4 point harnesses. Adding to the interior comforts is a custom Bluetooth sound system, power windows, power steering, and a Flaming River tilt steering column. This car was a factory air car, and it has been upgraded with a Vintage Air A/C system. Naturally, you top off a build like this with phenomenal paint. 10 coats of primer were applied with sanding between each coat, then 3 coats of black base and 3 coats of clear coat. Throw in the smoked chrome Coy s wheels and the brutal side pipes, and this car has the presence to match the build. This is one unique C2 Corvette that will not disappoint. For sale in our Nashville Tn showroom is a spectacular 1964 Chevrolet Corvette! For 1964 Chevrolet made only evolutionary changes to the Corvette. A few suspension refinements were made. The front coil springs were changed from constant-rate to progressive or variable-rate and were more tightly wound at the top, while leaf thickness of the rear transverse spring was also altered thus providing a more comfortable ride with no sacrifice in handling. Although transmission options remained ostensibly the same for 1964, the two Borg-Warner T-10 four-speeds gave way to a similar pair of gearboxes built at GMs Muncie, Indiana, transmission facility. Originally a Chevy design, it had an aluminum case like the Borg-Warner box but came with stronger synchronizers and wider ratios for better durability and drivability. With a 327 professionally built and installed this engine has a healthy sound and very healthy performance. With no expense spared on the rebuild of this 1964 Chevy Corvette You will definitely turn heads wherever you go. Painted a beautiful light blue with a fresh black interior and all new chrome you ll swear this 1964 Corvette just rolled off the assembly line. Options included: Air conditioning, AM/FM radio, hub caps, Seat belts, Radial tires, Posi traction, White walls and wire wheels. for more information, please call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or e-mail us at Nashville@GatewayClassicCars.com
Gateway Classic Cars proudly presents this 1964 Chevrolet Corvette coupe with the original 327 cubic inch V8 with a 4 speed transmission. This car has been mildly modified with hardened valve seats to accommodate the use of unleaded fuel and has a Flowmaster exhaust. Painted in 2014 in the current beautiful medium gray metallic, the finish shows a glassy smoothness. After the introduction of the C2 Corvette in 1963, in 1964 Chevrolet made only evolutionary changes to the Corvette. Besides the coupes backbone window, the two simulated air intakes were eliminated from the hood, though their indentations remained. Also, the decorative air-exhaust vent on the coupes rear pillar was made functional, but only on the left side, the fuel filler/deck emblem gained concentric circles around its crossed-flags insignia. Inside, the original color-keyed steering wheel rim was now done in simulated walnut. A few suspension refinements were made for 1964. The front coil springs were changed from constant-rate to progressive or variable-rate and were more tightly wound at the top, while leaf thickness of the rear transverse spring was also altered thus providing a more comfortable ride with no sacrifice in handling. Shock absorbers were reworked toward the same end. Chevy added more sound insulation and revised body and transmission mounts for the 1964 Corvette. It also fitted additional bushings to quiet the shift linkage and placed a new boot around the lever. The result was a more livable car for everyday transportation. If enthusiast publications liked the first Sting Ray, they loved the 1964. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1964 Chevrolet Corvette for purchase. In 1963, the Corvette launched its 2nd generation with the birth of the Stingray with a complete redesign barely resembling its predecessors. The Stingray was lighter, had independent suspension, and was aerodynamically tested. The only American cars that could produce similar speed were large, heavy Super Stock optioned Mopars and Super Duty Pontiacs. For the first time, the United States had mass produced a true all-around sports car. This 64 Corvette roadster is offered for sale for the first time since 1990 out of a private collection. It was repainted in 2015 in Tuxedo Black . The paint and chrome show well. The soft top has a few small tears in it but over all shows well. Its powered by a correct, but NOT numbers matching, 327ci 300hp V8 engine paired with the 4-speed Hurst manual transmission. It also features Dayton wire wheels with knock-off spinners, dual exhaust, pop-up headlights, high-performance intake, new ring & pinion gears, and more! The frame and bird cage both appear to be in solid condition. Although the odometer says 222 miles, it is hard to say how many actual miles are on the car; these miles are not believed to be original. The interior is a little worn and faded, but for its age it is in good condition. This is a great car for the money enjoy it the way it is or put some money into it and have yourself a nice show car. Cruising doesnt get much better than a C2 roadster on a beautiful day! Please call or email for more details!
