1959 Dodge Coronet 2 Door Hardtop. Original Survivor stock automobile. 60,063 miles on the odometer. Original 325 Cubic inch V8 engine. Automatic 3 speed transmission. This car is a 3 owner car. First 2 owners were from the State of Washington in the Tri Cities area of Northern Washington State. We don’t use salt on our roads around Oregon & Washington at all so no rust on the chassis of this solid car. The windshield is the factory installed windshield and has so few of blemishes on the windshield that I believe that this is probably the actual mileage on this Coronet. The car’s suspension is solid and handles just like a 60,000 mile car and not a 160,000 mile car. I purchased this Dodge from the second owner a year ago and he had had owned it for over 25 years. The original owner before owned it for 30 years less than 150 miles away from the second owner. The second owner did not drive it much so it sat in storage most of the time. I did the normal proper maintenance on a car that did not get driven a lot. New fuel pump, new master cylinder, new brake shoes and new brake cylinders in summer of 2018. Brand new battery and new exhaust system in the summer of 2018 also. The car is completely road worthy for any long road trips. This car’s engine is quite powerful and the car glides down the highway effortlessly. The engine has a lot of power and does not smoke at all. This Coronet was ordered with power steering only. No power brakes. With my new entire brake system rebuild, the car stops excellent. This Coronet was ordered from the factory without a radio or carpet. It has the original factory rubber mat throughout the entire car. The interior is all original and has the factory plastic covering over the seats. The dash is in excellent shape with only a bit of a wrinkle at the end of the passenger side. No cracks in the dashboard. The interior appears to be the original interior that came with the car. It has the original blue plastic covering over the back seat. No cracks in any of the glass. Windshield is perfect. The car appears to have the original paint on it. The factory Speedometer is so cool on this Coronet! On the first 30 miles per hour, the ribbon speedometer is green colored, then it changes to orange after 30. At 50 miles per hour the speedometer ribbon changes to red! (See attached photos). This Dodge Coronet is as original as they come. The car is in excellent mechanical shape and can be driven as is or is an excellent choice for restoration.
