Check out this very sharp 1950 Ford Custom. This is a very nice car. It is powered by Chevy with the engine being a 350 and the transmission being a 350 turbo. It runs and drives good. The transmission looks new by looking at the pan. It has headers with dual exhaust and sounds good. The engine is pretty stock. It has an Aluminum Radiator to keep it running cool. The carb is an Eldebrock 4 barrel. It has Vintage AC that works good and blows cold. The black paint is slick with only a couple very small scratches from it being driven. The body is straight down the sides and very solid. It has power rack & pinion steering so it handles the road good. It has power disc brakes on front. The chrome bumpers, grille and trim all looks great. The interior is done in Red leather including seats, headliner and door panels. The carpet is also Red. It has tilt steering as well as telescopic steering. The speedo works as does the gas gauge. It has Bosch oil pressure and temp gauges mounted under the dash. The windows are electric and are a little slow going up they do work. The emergency brake works as does the horn and wipers. All the lights work even the tag light. The trunk is done to match the interior and is electric. To set the car off is the American Racing wheels with 215/60R15 tires that are in good condition with plenty of tread left on them. The floor pans and trunk are in good condition. Turn key car ready to go.
We are pleased to present this 1950 Ford Deluxe Custom Coupe. When a custom car builder builds a car from himself the end results are usually pretty stunning. That is the case with this Ultra Orange Pearl two tone head turner. Completed 12 years ago and stored the last 7 years, the paint is suffering from some cracking, however everything is straight and neatly done from the custom grill and head lights to the chopped top and custom made removable rear side windows to the Caddy styled tail lights. The custom look extends to the interior with both front and back bucket seats with a center console color matched to the exterior. It has power front windows and a custom dash but most of the gauges are non-functioning. We have our mechanics looking into the issue. The 307ci Oldsmobile V8 engine paired with a 3 speed auto transmission and front disc brakes make for a nice and safe driving experience. This car is ready for car shows! This vehicle qualifies for an optional 90 day ASC drivetrain warranty. We can arrange shipping to your location. If you have any questions, please call or text Savannah Classic Cars at 912-235-2347.
A cool 1950 Ford Custom Coupe with every period-correct accessory you can imagine is already a bold standout. But as you dig deeper, youll see that this one was invested in correctly, too, so that youll confidently show off this attention-grabbing classic everywhere. The light blue fits into this cars era perfectly. Not only is a great 50s style color, but it was also given a professional respray a while back. So the result is a classic coupe that doesnt look like it has brand new color, which gives it that perfect balance of looking like a pristine original while still having an undeniable attraction every time the sunlight highlights its luster. The Club Coupe body is one of the most sought-after designs from the period. More expensive and sleeker than the two-door sedan, these are far rarer and much more desirable. Plus, the Custom Deluxe had extra trim all around the car. So iconic elements like the bullet-nose grille and full-length trim are joined by extra brightwork on the front and rear fenders. Plus, this one really turns the shine up a notch with great period-correct upgrades like the dual spotlights (for display), headlight eyelids, curb feelers, and tall bumper overriders. Theres even extra trim around the sunshade. But even with all these cool-cruising upgrades, dont forget to spot all the correct details, including the classic Ford badging, rear fender skirts, color-matched wheels, and iconic whitewalls. Inside, everything is quite correct, and it looks like there have been investments to keep it that way. For example, the gray and beige striped pattern on the cloth seating is exactly what youd expect in a 1950s machine. But this combines with the carpeting, door panels, and headliner to deliver a feeling thats far fresher than the factory. The Custom Deluxe lines correct two-spoke steering wheel with bright trim is pure 1950s cool. And beyond that, the dash looks like a time capsule. In fact, youll love all the period-correct details like the working heater and courtesy lights. Even the truck is ready to show off with the factory jack and full-size whitewall spare. Under the hood is the unmistakable appearance of Fords iconic 239 flathead V8. The bronze block and oil bath air cleaner are great classic elements we all love to see. But as you dig deeper, there are also all the right signs that this is a great cruiser. The upgrade to an alternator, fresh belts, good hoses, upgraded MSD wires all tell you this is ready for the road. The motors top end was rebuilt in 2006, it was converted to 12-volt electrics, and a new aluminum radiator was added in 2013. So yes, this has been maintained exactly how you would want your classic to be. And the result is an iconic V8 that fires up with gusto (the low mileage on the odometer is even believed to be actual!) Plus, the stainless dual exhaust is also newer to give you a clean rumble from the V8. You have complete control over this motor and its soundtrack thanks to the classic column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. This one feels solid because they invested correctly to keep it solid. The sale even comes with the owners manual, title documentation, and maintenance records. So its a great all-around classic coupe. A Ford like this is always in demand, so dont let it slip away. Call today!!!
If youre a fan of the cars that got Detroit humming after WWII, then you already know this convertible. The 1950 Ford Custom was part of that great style revolution that brought a new era of sleekness into design. So to find a turn-key ready V8 droptop that represents this era so well is a true gem. This Ford gets it right. After all, a convertible always looks terrific in a high-gloss red. Like any good 1950s car, theres plenty of chrome on the bumpers and on the highly stylized grille. In the middle of that bullet nose theres an 8 just so everyone knew back then that you were piloting the big motor. Whitewalls, fender skirts, and complete trim sweeping down the profile make us instantly nostalgic. And on the rear, theres even the addition of a continental kit for true distinction. And as you look at all the details from the special hood ornament to the dual spotlights you just know someone took the time to get this convertible right. We love the black convertible top with the red trim. Not only does this newer piece look premium, but with the flip of a switch, it powers down to reveal a two-tone black and red interior waiting underneath. These two colors are perfectly intertwined. You see in places like the red piping on the black seatbacks and the dual patterns in the door panels. This one feels so authentic, right down to the stylized Ford steering wheel. And just like the exterior, the details are nice, too, with a working clock and the AM radio is still cranking out tunes! Theres an addition of two auxiliary readouts, and since they are Stewart Warner units, even this helpful upgrade feels period correct. Its the kind of overall appearance that youll love showing off. The period-correct presentation continues under the hood, where the 239 cubic-inch flathead V8 is showcased in glowing bronze. The engine bay is nicely detailed with the correct oil-bath air cleaner matching the block. And the radiator hoses are so crisp, they look like they are diving into the motor. But more than just looking good, the glasspack-style dual exhaust gives this famous V8 a little extra bass during your Sunday drives. And the three-speed manual transmission w/overdrive lets you control that soundtrack while also giving it a powerful feeling around town if you so desire. Complete with owners manual, this is the classic that youll love to drive and love to show off. Since not too many cars do it as well as this one, you might want to hurry up and grab it before someone else does. Call today!!!
