Here is a really nice 1949 Ford Custom Convertible. It has a smooth running Flathead engine with dual exhaust on it and it sounds great. The Flathead is connected to an automatic transmission with a Trans cooler that shifts out great. It has all been converted to 12 Volts. Very eye catching car with the Yellow paint and New Black Convertible Top. That along with the Wide White Wall tires and this car screams the late 40s and early 50s era. The body is super straight and solid. The interior looks great as well with the nice seats. The dash looks great with the nice chrome. It has the original steering wheel and the horn works. The gauges are original as well. Added was a blinker system that works. All the lights work. All the chrome on the car looks great. Got to love the grille on these 49 & 50 Fords. There is a spare tire in the truck. This is just a super nice Ford that is very sharp and runs great. Pics will tell you all you want to know.

1949 Ford Woody Wagon Custom SURFS UP DUDE!!! We have been doing the old car thing for a long time and we just rarely ever get to play with one of these. I know the work icon gets over used in this line of work, but lets face it, the late 49 Ford Woody Wagon is just that. This one is not only an icon but the quality and detail are fabulous. The black paint is nearly flawless and the exterior wood looks like an 18th Century New England craftsman had did it all, just the other day. Look closely at the interior wood graining, it looks as real at the exterior wood maybe even nicer. The custom interior is very tasteful and expertly crafted also. The chrome and glass are superb and there is plenty of chrome on these babies. Not only does this one look stunning in its velvet smooth Ebony Black paint but it drives better than any original 49 Ford could. The drive train has been updated with a newer GM V8 dressed up like it would have been in 1956 with custom valve covers and an air breather that screams 50s Baby! The trans is a smooth shifting Turbo 350 that feeds the highway friendly 9 inch 3.00 rear end effortlessly. The body panels, floors and frame rails are all as solid as you could want. 1949 Ford Custom Sedan Shoebox Ford Drive a piece of history- mechanically sound and only needs basic cosmetic restoration. The doors and door handles are all still functional. The dash area must have seemed very futuristic when this sedan debuted, with the large dial of its speedometer sitting just above the row of control switches. All that refinement this 49 offers came with no loss of trunk space - theres a lot of it surrounding the area were the full size spare would sit. You wont see much in life thats gone through nearly seven decades before emerging in the impressive condition shown by this Fords drivetrain. The original 3.7L/226 CID L-head straight-6 starts right up and, remains fully capable of real-world driving around town with NO LEAKS. The car has its original 3-speed manual transmission and features a pull-handle activated overdrive gear whose first use will take you back in time. A look below at the solid undercarriage will reveal yet another feature that was revolutionary for its time: a ladder-style steel frame that carries a fully-independent front suspension. The windshield, rear window, and the 2 back seat windows have all been recently replaced and the replacement rubber seals come with the car. There is a crack in the drivers side roll down window. -Vehicle is on consignment and at our clients home -Please Call First and talk to a rep at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 -Showroom is by appointment only Please Call -If you would like a FREE Listing please visit our consignment page or Call
