This 1934 Ford coupe has a little something for everyone. Its a little bit familiar but isnt a slave to tradition, and packs a potent 350 cubic inch V8 that makes it more than just pretty. Neat tricks abound, making this the rod for people who appreciate innovation and craftsmanship as much as loud engines and horsepower. If you squint, you can see an early gasser profile in this sleek coupes DNA. Then again, the 34 is a totally fantastic design and they took advantage of its many unique features to create this awesome rod. Up front theres the traditional heart-shaped grille which is still one of the finest designs of the 30s, and its been raked back a bit to help with the sleek profile. Stripping it of its fenders and hood gives it a bare-knuckle look thats very appealing and with the bright turquoise paint and traditional pinstripe work, its anything but subtle. Fortunately, this high-impact rod has the build quality to back up the eyeball-searing paint, because it cackles and snarls and the nose-up profile screams, Lets race! The open engine bay shows off the hardware and when you look close youll find details like the trick gas tank thats integrated into the body lines, Pontiac taillights with blue-dot lenses, and a perfect chop. This rod does a lot of things exactly right. The interior is definitely primitive, with aluminum racing bucket seats wrapped in playful patio furniture pads with bright upholstery. Plain door panels continue the no-nonsense theme and the carpet adds to the fun. A full array of cream-colored Shark gauges fit in the dash and the red leather steering wheel just looks too cool in the turquoise passenger compartment. This car is obviously all about fun. Youll dig the 8-ball shifter, youll appreciate the tilt steering column, and theres enough room for even tall drivers. And yes, this is a practical rod, too, because theres a good-sized trunk out back thats nicely upholstered and includes the remote-mounted battery. The engine is a 350 cubic inch V8 crate motor thats a few years old. Being exposed like that means it has to look good as well as go like stink, so they dressed it up with finned valve covers, a checkerboard pattern on the firewall, and that trick air cleaner that looks like a vintage injection system. Horsepower is enhanced by a big Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and intake underneath that trick air cleaner and a pretty decent cam inside. An aluminum radiator keeps things nice and cool and with those headers and side pipes, it sounds like the 1950s all over again. The transmission is a TH350 3-speed automatic, so this 34 can cruise effortlessly at highway speeds and actually pulls down decent fuel economy while doing it. The chassis features a Vega steering box, front disc brakes on a Speedway dropped front axle, and a Ford 8-inch rear end on coil-overs and trailing arms. Slick sand cast aluminum wheels give it that old-school stance and are wrapped in 195R15 skinnies up front and fat 27.5x11x15 McCreary cheater slicks out back. This is another one of those cool rods that couldnt possibly be duplicated for the asking price. If you like the minimalist look, youll be delighted with the surprises inside. Call today!
A 1934 Ford is one of the most sought after classic cars on the market today and I have a nice one up for sale. This 1934 Ford 4 Door Sedan was built in 1983 by Old Time Rod Works but it has been garage keep and looks great to have been restored 34 years. We were told the engine was a 350 that came out of a early 70s Corvette but I have not run the numbers. It has Corvette Valve covers on it. I do know it runs out great. It has an Eldebrock Intake with a Quadrajet carb. It has 2 Electric Fans so you can run the working Vintage A/C system and the engine will not run hot. The transmission is a 700R4 and shifts out smooth and has a Transmission cooler mounted under the car. You can hit the hwy and run 75 all day long. The body is Steel but the fenders are fiberglass. The body is very solid and the paint, even after 34 years, still looks good. It has some small blemishes and is not perfect but it shows well. The interior is brand new done in real leather and it looks amazing. Both seats, all door panels and headliner are real leather. The front seat is power. Over $9000 was just spent on this interior. It has tilt steering. The front windshield still pushes out like it should. All the lights works and even the dash lights work so you can see at night. All the gauges work as do the wipers. It has an AM/FM Cassette player with a power antenna. All the glass looks good. There is a very small crack right at the bottom of the drivers windows but you can barely see it. The bumpers look good as does the Grille. It has a luggage rack on the back. The Red wire spoke wheels really set this 1934 Ford off. This is a beautiful car that runs, drives and feels like a streetrod should feel.
All-Steel Body-Off Restored Cabriolet Hotrod 302 V8 Auto A/C IRS /// Built to turn heads and drop jaws, this striking Cabriolet wraps a spry Ford small block and stalwart Ford AOD in solid Ford steel and plush leather trim. Based on appearance, this Fords smooth and solid steel was super clean before its detailed restoration even began. Nonetheless, that metal was subjected to a deep massage that followed a full strip with laser-straight lines and a spectacular coat of bright red 2-stage. And today, this drop-top rolls as a banner showpiece that celebrates the fusion of some of Fords greatest design work with some of the best modern technology money can buy. Tilt this 40Bs hood and youll find 302 cubic inches of Blue Oval bliss. Behind that mill, a proven Ford AOD 4-speed spins a polished, Corvette-style axle. That drivetrain rides a sturdy aftermarket chassis thats finished with a polished, fully independent suspension. Turns come courtesy of manual rack-and-pinion steering. Stops are provided by polished, power-assisted calipers, which squeeze a combination of drilled, slotted and vented rotors. And at the corners of the chassis, aggressive Billet Specialties wheels spin 215/40R17 Kumho Ecstas in front of 255/45R20 Kumho Ecstas. One of this classics coolest assets is a thoroughly upgraded interior that, just like the rest of the car, features just the right amount of customization. Pop the doors and youre immediately greeted by a plush bench seat. Below that seat, luxurious carpet floods metal foot pedals, a long Lokar shifter and a polished emergency brake. At the front of that rug, a tastefully modified dash seats sedate Classic Instruments telemetry amid hardware for Vintage Air climate control. And in front of the driver, a banjo-style steering wheel spins a body-matched hoop around a polished, tilting column. From its polished grille to its polished exhaust tips, this Ford is a completely sorted show stopper thats ready to hit the road today! Call, click or visit www.RKMotors.com for more information.

A 1934 Ford 3-Window Coupe is a true icon. So when this slick purple hot rod also has a performance V8 and a custom A/C interior, you know youre looking at a terrific street machine for a terrific price. This is true vintage style merged with a ton of the best updates. The fiberglass body fits together with precision, and it has a great durability factor. And that modern purple paint instantly commands attention with its shine. This one has an extra sleek style that doesnt have door handles or bumpers. So theres even more focus on those iconic Ford curves that are now even more radiant thanks to the clearcoat shine. Youll love the modern touches like the LED taillights and power rear license plate frame. They go nicely with the true classic hot rod features like the silver and white custom pinstriping, waterfall grille, suicide doors, and 15-inch polished alloys with staggered tires for an aggressive stance. See what we mean about the expert merging of vintage and new? Pop the remote door openers to reveal a full custom interior. Plush leather bucket seats coordinate with custom door panels to show you this has comfort and style. The exterior purple and the pinstriping return on the dash as a reminder of what a thoughtful build this is inside and out. There are even great features like power windows, an AM/FM/CD stereo, and cold R134a air conditioning. But one look at the competition-style tach mounted below the dash and the B&M Pro Stick ratchet shifter, and you know this is more than just a coddler. They invested in plenty of polished flair in the engine bay since this one is on display for the world to see. Even the block is painted to match the cars purple. But beyond the style is some serious substance. This 350 cubic-inch V8 inhales deeply with a Demon four-barrel carburetor. It exhales with authority as long tube headers adds even more power while contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust. This is a muscular package, and so it has the right components to get the power to the ground. This includes a strong TH400 three-speed automatic transmission, four-link rear (with stabilizer bar and adjustable coilovers,) and extra wide Mickey Thompson rubber in the rear. More than just knowing how to deliver the power, it also has great driving features like four-wheel disc brakes and an aluminum radiator w/electric fans. Complete with maintenance records, if you like your classics complete, powerful, and premium, then dont miss this deal. Call today!!!

This ALL STEEL Ford 3-window coupe is one of the nicest builds you will ever find! Restored back around 2009 out of Maryland, there was no expense sparred when building this beautifully done hot rod. The roof was chopped down to give it those sleek lines and all metal was finished the correct way without using Bondo. Many man hours of sanding and prep work went into the car before laying down the best-in-show winning purple plum paint with traditional style flames that work well on this car. The artistry did not stop on the exterior though, open the suicide door and slide into luxury. The custom tan leather interior is soft and comfortable was used on nearly every square inch of the interior. The AC keeps you cool on those warm summer days and the ride feels much more solid than most replicas. Powering this steel bodied Ford is a powerful 540 cubic inch Merlin engine that is hooked up to a 3-speed automatic transmission and transferring it all out to a Winters quick change rear end. With just over 2,000 miles on the build of this car it is still fresh and ready to be shown off and driven! Once behind the wheel, you will be amazed at how smooth the ride is and how much power this little coupe has. Everywhere you go in this car it will turn heads, get thumbs up, and win awards when entered into a show! No matter what your intentions are for this 1934 3-window it will definitely not disappoint. The Gateway Classic Cars Showroom of Saint Louis is excited to offer this all-steel 1934 Ford 3 Window Coupe 350 for sale. This is very nicely restored classic. Like nearly 100% of our inventory, we are standing by the fact that we found no rust on inspection and it is ready to drive and enjoy on the day you purchase it. This is a California body on genuine 1934 Ford rails. BACKGROUND: Ford produced three cars between 1932 and 1934: the Model B, Model 18 & Model 40. The 1934 Ford was not as substantial a model year change as the previous two years had been, but was made infamous after the Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow fame. The two outlaws were traveling in a stolen 1934 Ford sedan in Bienville Parish, Louisiana, when a heavily armed law enforcement posse opened fire and riddled their car with bullets and buckshot, killing both and bringing an end to the infamous gang. (Source Wikipedia) Perhaps if Bonnie and Clyde had a 1934 Ford like this one with a humming 350 CI out of a 1970 Corvette and a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette independent rear suspension, they could have made a quick turn around and get away. Or maybe the professional painted multi-color flames on the side would have led them to being caught even faster. Nevertheless, if they would have had the air conditioning unit like this one has, they would have died cool. So-called a 3-window because of the two side and one rear windows, this classic is a rare find! The black body paint will not disappoint and the gray-cloth interior still looks like-new, even though it was restored back in 2012. There arent 4,200 miles yet on this engine and transmission. Other unique features include a chrome dropped front axle, CD player, anti-theft system, suicide doors, and wide white-wall tires. To be sure you access all the photographs, please go to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.) Garage Kept Motors is honored to bring to market one of the coolest and unique builds weve ever had the privilege to sell. This is an awesome 1934 Ford 3-Window Coupe that was commissioned by Ford Motor Company and completed by EMI for the 2009 SEMA Show in Vegas. EMI is credited for designing the Tesla all aluminum bodies and the new aluminum alloy 2015-current Ford F150 bodies. They are the leader in body design for the large auto manufactures and set the standard. 2009 marked the 75th Anniversary of the 1934 Ford Coupe and Ford wanted to celebrate that milestone. This was the car they did it with and it ended up winning Best in Show for SEMA 2009. What makes it even more special is the first application of a rear-wheel drive set up powered by the 3.5L Twin Turbo Ecoboost V6 engine, the same motor thats in the Ford GT. With over $350,000 invested, this is an absolute steal for the price offered here, considering its a one-of-one build with SEMA Best in Show accolades. Below you can read what popular car news publications had to say about it, but also be sure to check out all the photos and video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors. Call if interested or e-mail with any questions. Thank you for looking. Aiming to disprove the old saw that theres no replacement for displacement, Ford has dropped its twin-turbocharged and direct-injected 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 into a SEMA-bound 1934 Ford three-window coupe. With the help of Detroit Street Rods and Experi-metal, the EcoBoost was reconfigured for rear-wheel-drive, mated to a five-speed manual Tremec transmission, and fitted into the replica 34 body. Ford says this six is squeezing out an estimated 400 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. - Car and Driver The entire project took about a year from start to finish, and offers one of the most comfortable and stylish interiors youll ever find in a hot rod. Maybe thats why it won Best In Show for SEMA 2009. - Motor Trend Adapting this sophisticated engine to street rod use while making all that magnificent high-tech gadgetry work correctly cant be easy. Further complicating matters: While longitudinal applications are currently in the works, thus far the EcoBoost has been used only in transverse front-drive, east/west applications. The engine would have to be rotated 90 degrees and repackaged in a north/south configuration to fit in the 34 chassis. That tricky task was ably covered by Technosports Inc. of Livonia, Michigan, another Detroit-area firm that specializes in prototype and development work for the automakers and the motorsports industry as well. Technosports relocated the turbos and charge coolers, fabricated new intake and exhaust systems, made accommodations for the Vintage Air A/C system, and hooked the whole thing up to a Tremec TKO five-speed manual gearbox. Final tuning and calibration were performed at Ford Powertrain, the mother ship, where the combination made 400 hp and 400 lb-ft on the dyno. Bob Smith of Detroit Street Rods served as manager for the overall build with head wrench Rick Rzepka leading the assembly work, which was performed at EMIs own fabrication shop. Naturally, all the sheetmetal is brand-new stuff from EMI and Steves Auto Restorations, including the fenders and running boards, though the hood is a Rootlieb part. The exterior theme uses as many original-style Ford trim pieces as possible to accentuate the bodys authenticity-the taillamps, headlamps, and other barbs and baubles are all 34 reproductions. The chassis is by the Roadster Shop using independent wishbones and rack-and-pinion steering in front and a coilover four-link in the rear with a 3.90-geared 9-inch axle from Johns Industries. The paint was laid on by Kustom Creations in Sterling Heights. Kustom, which uses Sherwin-Williams and Planet Color materials exclusively, shot matte clear over the medium blue on the cab to create a primered look, while the darker blue metallic on the fenders is actually a standard Ford truck color code. As with many unique paint schemes, the result is somewhat polarizing. People tend to love it or hate it-like the choice of a V-6 for a street rod rather than the more conventional V-8. But you have to admit the EcoBoost looks pretty good in front of a white firewall. And with those big dual megaphones, it sounds pretty good, too. - Hot Rod Magazine
