This absolutely astounding 1933 Ford roadster invites all kinds of speculation, but the biggest thought that hits everyone who sees it is that there are definitely new ways to make an old favorite look fresh. The body is by Factory 5, who have expanded their Cobra-building enterprise into hot rods with the same attention to detail and meticulous quality controls. With traditional roadster proportions and a wicked stance, this gorgeous Ford definitely has the right hot rod look, but adding those flowing fenders gives it an entirely different profile that changes the game. Expertly finished to an excellent standard, it wears two-tone green paint that seems to glow from within and gives the car a very expensive, upscale vibe. Fit and finish are quite good, particularly the suicide doors that fit flush and the trick tilting hood that flips forward on hidden hinges. The classic pointed 33 Ford grille shell was raked back a few degrees to make it even longer, lower, and sleeker, and the fully enclosed bodywork adds a functional element that a lot of builders would overlook but which looks totally right. The headlights tuck in tight to the bodywork, there are faired-in LEDs out back, and as I said, the fenders make it look like nothing else on the road. Using Cobra-style buckets gives the interior a racy attitude that doesnt betray the roots of the hot rodder tradition. They also allow tall folks to get comfortable behind the wheel and with race-style belts, you definitely feel like youre driving something that can get you in trouble. Beautiful details like the custom 3-spoke steering wheel, the color-matched panel with white-faced Auto Meter gauges in it, and the 5-speed manual shifter sitting in a custom center console suggest that someone took their time to get the styling exactly right. Theres a custom AM/FM/CD stereo in the center stack, but if youre doing it right, youll never listen to it because youll be having too much fun. There is no top, but a good-sized trunk is included, and its finished with black carpets and an Optima battery As a Factory 5 project, this one uses tried-and-true Mustang 5.0 components, starting with a rebuilt 5.0 from a 1988 Ford Mustang GT. Rebuilt internally to stock Ford specs, it carries a Holley carburetor and aluminum intake manifold, along with an upgraded ignition system. Its a neat fit in there, but since its factory-engineered to fit, its worlds more competent than any home-built rod would be. The suspension uses wishbones, inboard coil-overs, and rack-and-pinion steering up front, while a familiar Ford 8.8-inch rear axle from a 1994 Mustang hangs on a 3-link setup, and with 2.73 gears inside, its a serious highway hauler. There are disc brakes at all four corners and the stainless exhaust system sounds spectacular with mufflers AND resonators. Staggered aluminum wheels with brushed centers look awesome and wear a set of big-n-little Michelin radials. Not only is this car beautifully built and finished, but its also fully engineered and shockingly fast. If you want a practical, useful rod that you can drive anywhere, there arent many that can compare to this. Call today!
The 1933 Fords were the founding fathers of the hot-rodding movement. They were modified in endless ways from mild to wild. This 2-door coupe is a beautiful example of one that is full of both show and go. It has great vintage character on the outside, modern comforts in the interior, and modern tech dressed up for the show in the drivetrain. Check it out. The fiberglass body of this car is very clean with good gaps and lines and an outstanding paint job in classic Black. The look is kept super clean by leaving the fenders off which highlights the tapered lines of the car. Up front, that tall grill of curved vertical bars leads the way with Ford badging at the top and some sweet custom pin striping on the hood. Big round headlights flank that grill and there is plenty of chrome shining brightly for everyone to see on the drop axle, shocks, bumpers, and finned aluminum brake coolers that are all polished up. From the side, the silhouette is unmistakably 33 Ford with a bit of chassis rake that gives the car a pretty aggressive stance. Out back, there is more of that custom pinstriping on the long gentle curves of the trunk and a simple but good looking chrome bumper. Step inside this car and you are surrounded by a rich Black interior. The door panel sets the tone by being simple but gorgeous. It has a triangular pleated center panel with a smooth surround. The bench seat follows suit with pleated leather seating surfaces with smooth surrounds and nice side bolsters on the outer edges. A custom three spoke wire steering wheel is wrapped in leather and mounted on a tilt column with polished V8 center button. Behind it is a black dash with a white faced, backlit, Autometer gauge cluster. The speedo is in the center with four smaller engine gauges around it. There is a plaque on the dash from a vintage speed run at El Mirage with the controls for the Vintage Air A/C system to the right of it and the vents underneath. The shifter for the automatic transmission rises from the floor and there is a Sony head unit mounted behind the seat. Pop the hood and you will find a 350 cubic inch motor with Cadillac valve covers squeezed down in that tight little engine bay. A gloss black filter housing gathers up air for an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and a GM intake. Those valve covers are blue with Cadillac spelled out in silver and long tube headers wind their way out the bottom to Flowmaster mufflers. A chrome alternator keeps the battery charged up and theres a new Sanden A/C compressor along with new plugs cap and wires assure a good spark. A fresh radiator with electric fan makes sure that things keep running cool and power flows back through a THM700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. A Ford 9 , Currie rear end with 3.70 gears gets those Red wire wheels tuning and chromed radius rods along with the springs and shocks not only look great but offer the adjustability that provides for that nice bit of chassis rake. Up front a chromed transverse spring compliments the rest of the chrome in the steering and brakes for an awesome look all around. Vintage character on the outside, modern comforts on the inside, and chromed up tech in the drivetrain and engine. Come on down and check this car out.
The 1933 Ford Vicky Victoria was all about adding some styling class to the Ford lineup. So to find a hot rod with glossy paint, comfy A/C interior, upgraded suspension, and performance small block under the hood, means its upholding the Ford tradition while providing you with a modern and comfortable custom build. The forward stance of this one makes it look fast just standing still. So a glossy application of red paint seems like the perfect way to render this speedy classic. But a street machine like this is really for the detail lovers. Thats why theres a terrific pinstriping package the encircles the whole car while also highlighting places like the hood, door handles, and gas cap. This is a fiberglass car, and so the body tolerances get to be tighter. This allows to showcase some of the boldest parts of the car, like the deep V created by the fenders coming together. This is highlighter further by the dipping chrome bumper. In fact, all the brightwork does a terrific job of grabbing attention in places like the waterfall grille, large headlight surrounds, and polished Torq Thrust wheels. Suicide doors mean you get to open them wide and share the interior with the world. Thats why this is equal parts comfortable and flair. This well coordinated package where the seats, door panels, lower dash pad, and headliner all go together nicely in gray and tweed. Plus, the red insert on the dash complements the exterior. This is a nice cruising machine with premium features like an AM/FM/CD stereo w/aux input, power windows, and cold R134a air conditioning. But as much as this is a comfortable way to spend time with family and friends, this Vicky is also fun when its just for you. The center console w/floor shift, Grant GT sports steering wheel, Ididit tilt column, and AutoMeter gauges are a great reminder that theres something special under the hood. This motor is always on display, because its something youll always love showing off. The smooth firewall, matching red block, and plenty of polished components keep it distinguished. This tidy setup was installed less than 4,500 miles ago. But when you look beyond the style, theres the substance of a 350 cubic-inch small block thats been enhanced with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, aluminum intake, MSD ignition, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. Not only will you enjoy the extra power of this V8, but also the rumble will be your favorite soundtrack. More than just pure power, you also have the right suspension upgrades, including Mustang II-style front end, Fox Mustang-style rear w/sway bar, limited slip rear end, and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes for superior stopping power. Add in the three-speed automatic transmission and rack & pinion steering, and you have an all-around terrific custom coupe. This Vicky has been given the right respect and upgrades, which is exactly what you want in in a distinct street machine. Dont miss you chance, call today!
We dont have to tell you this 1933 Ford is a complete custom build, because it already screams it from every angle. You see it in the shimmering presentation, modern A/C interior, performance suspension, and the Mustang 302 V8. So your first impression is that this is the ultimate no compromises build, and as you dig deeper, it only gets better. First off, youre looking at a body from the masters at Factory Five Racing. And you know they are precision gurus for style and speed. Black and gold is a timeless two-tone arrangement, but this has a very modern twist. Youre looking at full wrap. It was applied less than a year ago, so it retains an amazing amount of shine as it literally hugs every curve of this cool coupe. In fact, the body is full of surprises. Because while this looks awesome as an aerodynamic coupe, the top unbolts, and the sale comes with a roadster windshield. So yes, this gives you the option of commanding attention as a coupe or roadster all in one! And no matter how you decide to motor, no one will ever mistake it for tame. The low-dipping grille, hood scoop, sport mirrors, and streamlined body with no handles are pure performance car attitude. Plus, the alloy wheels not only add a terrific shine, but also the staggered 17/18-inch size gives this an aggressive stance. The doors open with the touch of a key fob for added distinction. Black is a great coordinating color against the exterior, so this one looks especially terrific with the roof off. The first thing you notice when opening the door are the seats. These have that cool retro low-back appearance, but you can also see modern bolstering for true comfort. In fact, youve got all the right modern amenities with an AM/FM/CD stereo, power windows, cup holder, and cold R134a air conditioning. But no one will mistake this for a pure coddler. This has the right performance equipment with the four-point harnesses, grippy Factory Five steering wheel, and the full set of AutoMeter gauges set in the machine-turned aluminum dash panel. And have you counted the gears on the stick shift yet? We love how the metal mesh sides give everyone a peek at the motor. But for those who want to come in for a closer look, theyll will be rewarded with a bright and beastly V8. It has a fantastic presentation with polished components like the air topper, alternator, compressor, Ford Racing valve covers, and so much more (we dare you to find another component that could be polished.) Plus, the mirrored firewall doubles the brightness! But look beyond the shine, and youll see some serious power. Thats a 302 cubic-inch roller motor with enhancements that include new Trick Flow aluminum heads, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and shorty headers that feed a growling dual exhaust. You have complete control over this big power and thunderous soundtrack thanks to the five-speed manual transmission. And big power is far from the whole story. Factory Five also builds an outstanding chassis that features unequal length A-arm control arms with in-board coilovers up front, and theres a reinforced adjustable coilover rear. And because theres only about 7,800 miles on the whole build, everything looks clean and fresh. Add in four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, and the grip of modern performance tires, and this mean machine is as good at eating up the highway miles as it is eating up the asphalt. Complete with build receipts and owners manual, you know no expense was spared creating this retro performance with all the right modern equipment. So dont miss out, call today!

A Sony AM/FM/CD player has been mounted under the dash and VDO gauges let you keep on eye on things under the hood. The Banjo steering wheel is in great shape and really sets off the interior of this 33 Ford. The trunk release handle is nicely tucked away behind the driver seat and is easy to reach. Exterior A red 1932-34 Ford coupe is what most people have in mind when they think of a hot rod. This car fills those shoes nicely with Ridler 17 chrome wheels, subtle custom graphics, suicide doors, big headlights and nice chrome exhaust tips. What a stance this car has with the chopped roof and the slight rake. It is what a street rod should be from every angle. Conclusion This Ford looks great inside, outside and even underneath. For sale in our St. Louis showroom is an extremely interesting and well built 1933 Ford Sedan Delivery street rod. Finished in stunning red with wide white wall tires at first glance this may look like a standard 33, but look closer and youll see nearly every part has been customized. The body is a all steel and was 1 of under 2,000 Sedan Deliverys made in 33. The paint is Ferrari Testarossa Red and has been beautifully applied. Youll notice the advertisement for Mortlands Auto Body on the side, and thats the shop that took care of the paint for this 33. The lettering is real gold leaf and may contain a small fortune right there on the side of the truck. The front windshield is functional and tilts out for nice ventilation. In addition, all glass is amber tinted safety glass. The rear mounted exterior trunk is a nice classic touch, but if it is not your style, the trunk and bracket can be easily removed. The chrome wire wheels are a great look especially with the new set of Coker Classic wide white wall tires. The beating heart of this 33 is a 1970 LT-1 350 CID V8 which is rated at 370 BHP. The engine was overhauled in 2006 and since has traveled just over 23,000 miles. Of course the power plant is dressed up with all the goodies: Endurashine carburetor, custom valve covers, chrome lines and fittings, and custom air cleaner. Backing the 350 is a Turbo Hydramatic 350 automatic transmission which runs to an 8 Ford rear end with 2.73 final drive ratio. This Ford was set up to drive across the country and has done just that a few times. Inside youll be nice and comfortable sitting on front leather bucket seats. Crank up the stereo and the Vintage Air A/C unit and arrive in style and comfort. The dash is well laid out with everything youll need including gauges by Classic Instruments, custom machined dash panels, and a very nifty steering wheel. Mounted to a tilt column, the Flaming River billet steering wheel can be removed without any tools as a simple yet effective theft deterrent. The rear section of the truck has been nicely upholstered with storage in the floor which includes a hidden spare wheel. This street rod is sure to stand out among the simpler builds and is already a multi-trophy winner. The best part is how well documented the vehicle has been since being restored. Engine specs, suspension details, brake details, even right down to gaskets and hoses used have all been recorded so the new owner can keep this rod maintained without all the guess work. The Sedan Delivery was very well thought out and really must be seen to appreciate. You can view this Ford in greater detail, including HD video, at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
