V8 power, four-on-the-floor, growling side pipes, and an overall cool look highlight this 1923 Ford T-Bucket. So the affordable price is just the cherry on top. While people enjoy looking at the motor thats on display (more on that in a moment) a proper T-Bucket like this also has plenty of extra flair all around. Its a speed machine that strips down for lightweight performance. So for starters, its nice to have one with a chassis painted to match the car. And this purple is the right standout color to make a lasting first impression. Plus, all the brightwork adds to this memorable machine on places like the headlight surrounds, windshield supports, windshield frame, and especially the wire wheels. Add in the flames and all the other custom graphics, and you have a very unique street machine. The white tuck and roll interior is not only a great classic piece, but it also coordinates nicely with the car. It matches with the rear shelf and as well as all the white in the exterior graphics. So you can tell someone thought about the color inside and out on this roadster. The woodgrain steering wheel, woodgrain dash, and classic-style VDO gauges have a great vintage look. But your favorite classic T-Bucket piece will likely be having the correct placement of the shifter between your legs. The engine bay is tidy and shiny exactly how you want it when its on display for the world to see. While youll be hard-pressed to find any more components that could be polished, its the substance of this motor youll really like. Its a Chevy 350 cubic-inch V8 that includes a four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, Mallory distributor, and mild cam. And those headers add even more power while contributing to the roar of the side pipes. Best of all, youre in complete control of the power and the thunderous soundtrack thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. With wide BF Goodrich T/As in the rear and disc brakes up front, this is an ideal total package. This has the right look, the right power, and the right price so dont let this T-Bucket slip away. Call now!
A blast from the past, step back into the 50’s when hot-roding was a way of life. Now you can drive your dream hot rod with a supped-up 1600 dual port motor that is very economical, but will pull wheelies. If you like attention this is the car that will get them screaming.
Why This Car Is Special This Ford T-Bucket is cool, fast and surprisingly economical. Mechanical That beefy sound you hear in the video isnt coming from a big V8 with a healthy cam. It is coming from a 4.0 Liter V6! It sure sounds tough and has more than enough power to move this light weight T-Bucket down the road. It is backed by a 5-speed manual transmission and a Ford 8 rear end. Inverse leaf springs front and rear with shocks on all four corners provide a nice ride quality. Holley valve covers, full length tubular headers and an HEI setup give this 4.0 liter a strong spark, good looks and a great sound. Interior The interior matches the bee theme from the outside with black and yellow striped seats and paneling. The dash is painted yellow and has nice white face gauges. The bucket seats are very comfortable and the tilt steering column makes getting in and out much easier. The small steering wheel makes the interior feel more roomy than most and seat belts are a welcome addition in any T-Bucket! Exterior When you have a T-Bucket you want to get noticed. Not much will get you noticed like bright yellow paint. Top that off with a Bee on each side and a black and yellow striped rear pad, and the look is complete. Steel wheels with chrome center caps, diamond plate steps, and the side pipes T-Buckets are known for give this car a real hot rod look. Conclusion T-Buckets are always a hot item and this one is certainly one of a kind. It wont BEE here long .... So, please call or text at 734-323-9260 or 727-688-1148. We also finance! This 1923 Ford T-Bucket is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The T bucket was made out of necessity with the supply of Model T s dwindling hot rodders had to do something. In 1957 their call was answered by Diablo Speed shop in Northern California. With only 3 built before closing the doors one was purchased by hotrod builder Buzz Pitzen. He completed the build and credited for the first fiberglass T bucket. This example has that classic look while the attention detail really sitting this build apart. The red paint is vibrant and slick with no pinstriping it can be left alone or used an open canvas, so your guy can do his thing. The frame was painted in the same red making the transition from the 2 almost seamless. The classic chromed front end came from speedway one of the most well-known brands in the business. The engine is a small block 350 with the tunnel ram which has a set of dual quads feeding this monster the fuel it needs. The B&M TH350 transmission easily handles the power from that small block shifting through the gears with no hesitation. Power is put to the ground courtesy of a Ford 9 inch turning those monster 33x22 tires that have been mounted on a 15 wheel giving it that true Hotrod look. The 4 link helps to keep the back wheels on the ground while giving this 23 T bucket a rather plush ride. If you have been wanting a T bucket that is fun to drive while having that classic look this is the bucket for you. Options on this 1923 Ford T bucket include Tilt Wheel, Vinyl Interior, and a set of Racing Wheels with Radial Tires. 1923 Ford Roadster In the Street Rod world, they say T-BUCKETS are the entry level into street rodding! This 1923 Total Performance T was built to the highest level and quality of parts and it shows with the awards it has amassed...its much, much more than an entry level example. All these awards are the result of the quality of the parts, fit and finish, and attention to detail. Lets start with what gets this car down the road...sitting between the frame rails is a 383ci Chevy crate stroker putting out approximately 475hp according to the owner. The engine is topped off with an Edelbrock Endurashine dual quad intake with two 500 cfm Endurashine Edelbrock carbs, the spark to fire the fuel from those carbs comes from a Pertronix Flame Thrower billet distributor, and spent gasses exit thru Sanderson Roadster headers. All engine accessories are either billet or chrome of the highest quality. Backing up the engine is a worked over Turbo 350 automatic transmission with a stall speed converter to control all that engine horse power and operated by a Lokar shifter. A custom drive shaft connects to a Currie Billet 9 rear packed with a Currie center section and axles. The front and rear suspension are hung with custom hair pins, you have drop tube suicide axle up front with P&J tube shocks and at the rear its sprung with coil overs. Stopping this car is easy with Wilwood calipers and rotors at all four corners. Now lets look at the mile-deep paint and the attention to detail of the body and finish. Moving to the interior youll find some of the finest black leather upholstery with red stitching covering the contour style bucket seat insert and side panels. Rounding out the interior is a full set of the finest Stewart Warner black face gauges, and the steering column angle was redesigned for better driving comfort. If a T-Bucket is on your Bucket List this is the one for you.
